En la oración que Jesús nos enseñó y que dejó como modelo está esta petición: hágase tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra. El objetivo de este estudio es que, en la vida, desear hacer la voluntad de Dios está primero que llenar el ego. Muchas veces se dice que se quiere hacer la voluntad de Dios pensando en algo grande, en ministerios y en dones, en algo que sobresalga y que todo el mundo aplauda; pero barrer la casa de Dios está dentro de su voluntad, y servir a otro también. ¿De qué nos valdría vivir toda la vida haciendo lo que se nos antoja, si al final no hacemos lo que nuestro Creador esperaba de nosotros?
I.Venga tu reino. Hágase tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra (Mateo 6:10).
AA. Primero la voluntad de Dios, no el ego.
1.
La voluntad de Dios es aquello que Él ha planificado para cada uno. En la oración tú le dices: ¿cuál es tu voluntad para mí en el día de hoy? Guíame hoy a hacerla.
2.
No es la tensión de levantarse con la agenda llena. Y si dices yo oro cuando me acueste, al tirarte a orar te vas a dormir, porque el cuerpo está drenado del cansancio del día.
3.
Por la mañana, con el cuerpo descansado y la mente fresca, se entra de lleno a esa oración; y al terminar sientes que hablaste con Dios y que ya puedes salir.
4.
No es lo grande que yo pueda lograr hoy para que me vean en el trabajo o en los estudios. Lo primordial de nuestra vida como cristianos es la voluntad de Dios.
5.
Barrer la iglesia está dentro de su voluntad, porque es ver la casa de Dios linda. Y si a alguien se le cae algo a tu lado y te doblas a recogerlo, eso también lo es.
6.
¿Y cómo te sientes al terminar? No con el ego, sino satisfecho, y callado, en silencio, dentro de ti; porque hiciste algo que sabes que a Dios le agrada.
BB. ¿Por qué no hiciste lo que yo esperaba de ti?
1.
¿De qué vale ganar la buena fama, o lo que lograste en tu trabajo y en tus estudios, si al fin y al cabo lo que Dios quería para tu vida no lo hiciste?
2.
Él nos preguntará, con todo el derecho que tiene como Creador. Y estando delante de su presencia, uno caería postrado; no habría respuesta, quedaríamos mudos.
3.
Porque eso es lo que hacemos: buscamos justificar el no hacer su voluntad. No pude por esto, no pude por aquello; siempre una justificación para no hacer lo que nos toca.
4.
Pero mira cómo nos va a contestar: te di las Escrituras, donde te di por escrito mi mente. No hay justificación, porque la palabra está.
5.
Y te dirá: no la aprovechaste. No aprovechaste la mente de Dios, que nos la dejó completa para que fuéramos guiados por ella.
II.La palabra es viva, y en ella está escrita la mente de Dios.
AA. Veinte veces que la leas, veinte veces Dios te habla.
1.
Hoy tú no puedes decir: ya yo leí ese libro, ¿para qué lo voy a leer de nuevo? Eso lo podrás decir con cualquier otro libro, porque la palabra de otro libro no es viva.
2.
¿Cuántas veces hemos leído un versículo que en el pasado no entendimos, y hoy Dios nos deja ver claramente lo que tenía?
3.
Aquí hay para todo: no importa el problema, ni la situación, ni el desánimo. Léela con deseo de verdad, y te aseguro que la palabra te va a hablar y va a obrar en tu vida.
4.
Nuestro mapa de vida cristiana está en las rodillas. Cuando coges el Padre Nuestro y lo vives y lo haces parte interna de tu vida, verás el mapa clarito.
5.
¿Cuántos están turbados? ¿Cuántos no saben cuál es la voluntad de Dios para su vida? Y el Señor la tiene ahí, al lado tuyo, escrita.
BB. El hombre es voluntarioso por naturaleza.
1.
¿Han visto niños voluntariosos? Pues los mayores, en muchas ocasiones, nos convertimos en esos niños, fuera del marco de lo que Dios quiere para nuestra vida.
2.
Es debido a la carne: se le ha dado más lugar a la carne que al espíritu. Y le das más lugar a la carne cuando no oras; porque la oración es diaria, día tras día.
3.
¿Cómo vas a conocer su voluntad si no sacas tiempo para hablar con Él? Y a lo mejor puedes estar dos o tres horas viendo televisión.
4.
Señor, ¿me quedo o me voy? Pero ya compré el pasaje. Porque esos doscientos sesenta dólares valen más que la voluntad de Dios.
5.
Una cosa he aprendido: a mí me bendice Dios, no me bendice el hombre. Nos desesperamos en la carne y le damos lugar al pensamiento y a lo que yo quiero hacer.
6.
Cuando no sabéis lo que será mañana, deberíais decir: si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello. Y al que sabe hacer lo bueno y no lo hace, le es pecado (Santiago 4:13-17).
III.Andad en el Espíritu, y no satisfagáis los deseos de la carne (Gálatas 5:16-17).
AA. El vivir en la carne da lugar a lo que pensamos y queremos.
1.
¿Qué es lo que nosotros queremos, o qué es lo que Dios quiere? ¿Son tus deseos o es la voluntad de Dios?
2.
El vivir en el Espíritu desecha nuestro pensar y todo lo que haya en nuestro corazón que no sea agradar a Dios. Porque el detalle es ese: que agrade a Dios.
3.
Cuando uno desagrada a Dios, uno es el que tiene las consecuencias, porque se aleja de lo que Dios quiere para nuestra vida.
BB. El diablo roba la obediencia.
1.
Cuando tú aceptas a Cristo, Dios siembra en ti la buena semilla, la palabra. ¿Y qué hace el diablo? Quiere robarnos lo que Dios sembró.
2.
Muchas veces le abrimos la puerta un poquito: por la duda, por el comentario que escuchaste, o porque no hay en ti una vida de oración completa.
3.
Muchos comenzaron muy bien: leyendo la Escritura y orando todos los días, asistiendo a los cultos, hablando del mensaje de salvación, ofrendando y diezmando con gozo. ¿Y qué hizo el diablo? Les robó la obediencia.
4.
¿Qué me toca hacer como cristiano? Está claro en la palabra: no dejar de congregarnos, orar sin cesar, leer la palabra y traer a los alfolíes los diezmos y las ofrendas. Cada punto es cuestión de obediencia.
5.
No escuches voces ajenas: yo me mato trabajando para dar el diezmo. Le estoy dando el diez, ¿y con cuánto me quedo? Con el noventa; y Dios me devuelve más aún.
6.
Lo primero que te va a poner es el dinero. Pero la obediencia es por fe: es creerle a Dios que Él me va a bendecir por otro lado.
CC. Vosotros corríais bien; ¿quién os estorbó? (Gálatas 5:7).
1.
Lo único que puede permitirlo eres tú. Abrirle la puerta al diablo es permitírselo uno: el dejar de orar, el dejar de leer la palabra.
2.
Pero dice: resistid al diablo, y huirá de vosotros. ¿Y sabes lo que es resistir? Cuando tú te paras firme y fuerte, ahí vas a resistir lo que viene contra ti.
3.
Como en el fútbol: el que viene corriendo fuerte a tumbarte cae, si tú estás firme. Párate firme en el Señor y dile: aquí yo no te voy a abrir la puerta.
4.
Y que él sepa que tú eres hijo de Dios y que quieres hacer su voluntad. Déjaselo ver buscando a Dios, congregándote y leyendo la mente de Dios todos los días.
IV.El hacer tu voluntad, Dios mío, me ha agradado (Salmo 40:8); enséñame a hacer tu voluntad (Salmo 143:10).
AA. A David le agradaba hacer la voluntad de Dios.
1.
¿Y sabes lo que es agradar? Cuando te sientes alegre porque hiciste algo que te tocaba hacer. Y en ti hay una satisfacción personal; personal, no ego.
2.
Que a ti te sea de agrado hacer la voluntad del Padre más que la tuya. Morir a ti, morir todos los días: es necesario que yo mengüe para que Él crezca en mí.
3.
Nadie te obliga; nadie obligó a David, lo hizo voluntariamente. Que cuando vayas a hacerla sea voluntariamente, porque en ti hay un deseo de agradar a Dios.
4.
Ni lo hagas por aparentar con los demás, ni lo hagas por cumplir. No va a estar escrito en el cielo lo que hiciste por obligación.
5.
Y tu ley está en medio de mi corazón: todo lo que es ley de Dios lo hacemos con agrado y no con desagrado, porque ahí Dios la pone, para que la hagamos.
6.
Uno hace la voluntad de Dios en cualquier sitio, y no deja de hacerla cuando sale por esas puertas.
BB. Enséñame, y no busques agradar al hombre.
1.
Somos estudiantes, y un estudiante va a la escuela a escuchar para aprender. Si no sabes cuál es su voluntad, ahí está la oración: Señor, enséñame.
2.
Tu buen espíritu me guíe. El Espíritu Santo está para guiarte; si se lo pides, está dispuesto a revelarte la buena voluntad de Dios para tu vida.
3.
Todo aquel que hace la voluntad de mi Padre, ése es mi hermano (Mateo 12:50). No es por el mucho tiempo que lleves en la iglesia.
4.
No sirviendo al ojo, como los que quieren agradar a los hombres (Efesios 6:6). Buscar agradar al hombre te va a llevar a una gran decepción.
5.
Muchos desconocen su voluntad porque se pasan llenando el ojo del hombre; si les aplauden, eso les basta. Pero Dios no quiere aplausos para nosotros: quiere que toda la gloria sea para Él.
CC. Padre mío, hágase tu voluntad (Mateo 26:42).

A Jesús le era difícil hacer la voluntad del Padre, pero se rindió completamente ante ella. Qué momento aquel en Getsemaní, cuando su sudor era como gotas de sangre.
2.
Y eso es lo que nosotros tenemos que hacer día tras día: mi ego me lleva a esto, pero yo quiero hacer tu voluntad, Padre.
3.
Cuando Dios ve nuestro corazón en esa humillación, Dios nos va a ayudar y va a salir a favor nuestro.
4.
Jesús sabía lo que le tocaba: los clavos, los azotes, la corona de espinas. Y no solo morir: iba a cargar todos tus pecados en la cruz, los que has dicho y los que tienes callados.
5.
¿Qué te preocupa más a ti: tu dolor, o hacer la voluntad de Dios? ¿Tu orgullo y tu imagen delante de la gente, o hacer la voluntad de Dios?
6.
Si la carne tú no la quebrantas todos los días, ella te va a quebrantar a ti, porque le permitirá al diablo robarte lo que Dios puso en tu corazón. Amén.

I Will Do the Will of God
Matthew 6:10
Introduction
In the prayer Jesus taught us and left as a model stands this petition: thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. The aim of this study is that in life the desire to do God's will comes before filling the ego. Often people say they want to do God's will while thinking of something great, of ministries and gifts, of something that stands out and that everyone applauds; but sweeping the house of God is within His will, and so is serving another. What would it profit us to live our whole life doing as we please, if in the end we do not do what our Creator expected of us?
I.Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
AA. God's will first, not the ego.
1.
God's will is what He has planned for each one of us. In that prayer you say: what is your will for me today? Guide me today to do it.
2.
It is not the strain of waking with a full schedule. And if you say I will pray when I lie down, when you set yourself to pray you will fall asleep, for the body is drained from the day.
3.
In the morning, with the body rested and the mind fresh, one enters fully into that prayer; and when you finish you feel you have spoken with God and that now you can go out.
4.
It is not how great a thing I can achieve today so that they see me at work or at school. The chief thing in our life as Christians is the will of God.
5.
Sweeping the church is within His will, for it is seeing the house of God look lovely. And if something falls beside you and you bend to pick it up, that is within it too.
6.
And how do you feel when you finish? Not with the ego, but satisfied, and quiet, in silence, within yourself; because you did something you know pleases God.
BB. Why did you not do what I expected of you?
1.
What is it worth to gain a good name, or what you achieved at work and in your studies, if in the end you did not do what God wanted for your life?
2.
He will ask us, with every right He has as Creator. And standing before His presence one would fall prostrate; there would be no answer, we would be struck dumb.
3.
For that is what we do: we look for ways to justify not doing His will. I could not because of this, I could not because of that; always an excuse for not doing what falls to us.
4.
But see how He will answer us: I gave you the Scriptures, where I gave you my mind in writing. There is no excuse, because the Word is there.
5.
And He will say: you did not make use of it. You did not make use of the mind of God, which He left us complete so that we might be guided by it.
II.The Word is living, and in it the mind of God is written.
AA. Twenty times you read it, twenty times God speaks to you.
1.
Today you cannot say: I already read that book, why read it again? You can say that of any other book, because the word of another book is not living.
2.
How many times have we read a verse we did not understand in the past, and today God lets us see plainly what it held?
3.
Here there is something for everything: no matter the trouble, the situation, or the discouragement. Read it with a true desire, and the Word will speak to you and work in your life.
4.
Our map of the Christian life is on our knees. When you take the Lord's Prayer and live it and make it part of your inner life, you will see the map plainly.
5.
How many are troubled? How many do not know God's will for their life? And the Lord has it right there beside you, written.
BB. Man is self-willed by nature.
1.
Have you seen self-willed children? Well, we grown-ups often become those children, outside the frame of what God wants for our life.
2.
It is because of the flesh: more place has been given to the flesh than to the spirit. And you give more place to the flesh when you do not pray; for prayer is daily, day after day.
3.
How will you know His will if you take no time to speak with Him? And perhaps you can spend two or three hours in front of the television.
4.
Lord, do I stay or do I go? But I already bought the ticket. Because those two hundred sixty dollars are worth more than the will of God.
5.
One thing I have learned: God blesses me, man does not bless me. We grow desperate in the flesh and give place to our own thinking and to what I want to do.
6.
Since you know not what shall be on the morrow, you ought to say: if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. And to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin (James 4:13-17).
III.Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16-17).
AA. Living in the flesh gives place to what we think and want.
1.
What is it that we want, or what is it that God wants? Are they your desires, or is it the will of God?
2.
Living in the Spirit casts out our own thinking and whatever is in our heart that is not pleasing God. For that is the point: that it please God.
3.
When one displeases God, one bears the consequences, because one moves away from what God wants for our life.
BB. The devil steals obedience.
1.
When you accept Christ, God sows in you the good seed, the Word. And what does the devil do? He wants to steal from us what God sowed.
2.
Often we open the door a little: through doubt, through the remark you heard, or because there is no full life of prayer in you.
3.
Many began very well: reading the Scripture and praying every day, attending the services, speaking the message of salvation, giving offerings and tithes with joy. And what did the devil do? He stole their obedience.
4.
What falls to me as a Christian? It is plain in the Word: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, praying without ceasing, reading the Word, and bringing the tithes and offerings into the storehouse. Each point is a matter of obedience.
5.
Do not listen to outside voices: I work myself to death to give the tithe. I am giving the ten, and what do I keep? The ninety; and God gives back even more.
6.
The first thing he will set before you is money. But obedience is by faith: it is believing God that He will bless me another way.
CC. Ye did run well; who did hinder you? (Galatians 5:7).

The only one who can allow it is you. To open the door to the devil is to permit it oneself: the leaving off of prayer, the leaving off of reading the Word.
2.
But it says: resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And do you know what it is to resist? When you stand firm and strong, there you will withstand what comes against you.
3.
As in football: the one who comes running hard to knock you down is the one who falls, if you stand firm. Stand firm in the Lord and tell him: here I will not open the door to you.
4.
And let him know that you are a child of God and that you want to do His will. Let him see it, by seeking God, by gathering with the church, and by reading the mind of God every day.
IV.I delight to do thy will, O my God (Psalm 40:8); teach me to do thy will (Psalm 143:10).
AA. David delighted to do the will of God.
1.
And do you know what it is to delight? When you feel glad because you did what fell to you to do. And there is in you a personal satisfaction; personal, not ego.
2.
May it be your delight too to do the Father's will more than your own. To die to yourself, to die every day: He must increase, but I must decrease.
3.
No one compels you; no one compelled David, he did it willingly. When you go to do His will, let it be willingly, because there is in you a desire to please God.
4.
Do not do it to keep up appearances before others, and do not do it merely to get it over with. What you did out of obligation will not be written in heaven.
5.
And thy law is within my heart: all that is God's law we do with delight and not with displeasure, for there God sets it, so that we may do it.
6.
One does the will of God anywhere, and does not stop doing it when he goes out those doors.
BB. Teach me, and do not seek to please men.
1.
We are students, and a student goes to school to listen and to learn. If you do not know His will, there is prayer: Lord, teach me.
2.
Thy spirit is good; lead me. The Holy Spirit is there to guide you; if you ask Him, He is ready to reveal to you the good will of God for your life.
3.
Whosoever shall do the will of my Father, the same is my brother (Matthew 12:50). It is not by the long time you have been in the church.
4.
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers (Ephesians 6:6). To seek to please man will lead you to a great disappointment.
5.
Many do not know His will because they spend themselves filling the eye of man; if men applaud them, that is enough. But God does not want applause for us: He wants all the glory to be His.
CC. O my Father, thy will be done (Matthew 26:42).
1.
It was hard for Jesus to do the Father's will, but He yielded wholly to it. What a moment that was in Gethsemane, when His sweat was as drops of blood.
2.
And that is what we must do day after day: my ego leads me to this, but I want to do your will, Father.
3.
When God sees our heart in that humbling, God will help us and will come out on our behalf.
4.
Jesus knew what awaited Him: the nails, the scourging, the crown of thorns. And not only to die: He would carry all your sins on the cross, those you have spoken and those you keep quiet.
5.
What concerns you more: your pain, or doing the will of God? Your pride and your image before people, or doing the will of God?
6.
If you do not break the flesh every day, it will break you, because it will let the devil steal what God placed in your heart. Amen.

Desear hacer la voluntad de Dios está primero que llenar el ego. Se piensa en algo grande que todo el mundo aplauda; pero barrer la casa de Dios está dentro de su voluntad, y servir a otro también. Estos son los puntos del mensaje, para llevarlos toda la semana.
La voluntad de Dios es lo que él ha planificado para cada uno, y se busca por la mañana, con la mente fresca: «¿cuál es tu voluntad para mí hoy? Guíame a hacerla». De noche, te vas a dormir.
Dios nos preguntará: «¿por qué no hiciste lo que yo esperaba de ti?». No habrá justificación: nos dio las Escrituras, su mente por escrito, y la palabra es viva: veinte veces que la leas, veinte veces te habla.
El hombre es voluntarioso por naturaleza, y le da más lugar a la carne que al espíritu cuando no ora. «Señor, ¿me quedo o me voy? Pero ya compré el pasaje»: el pasaje vale más que la voluntad de Dios.
El diablo quiere robar lo que Dios sembró, y le abrimos la puerta un poquito: por la duda o por no orar. Así roba la obediencia. Resistir es pararse firme, como en el fútbol: aquí no te abro la puerta.
A David le agradaba hacer la voluntad de Dios: satisfacción personal, no ego. Nadie lo obligó; lo que se hace por obligación o por aparentar no queda escrito en el cielo. Su voluntad se hace también fuera de estas puertas.
Jesús en Getsemaní se rindió: «Padre mío, hágase tu voluntad», sabiendo que le tocaban los clavos, los azotes y la corona de espinas. ¿Qué te preocupa más: tu dolor y tu imagen, o hacer la voluntad de Dios?
Para esta semana
Ora el Padre Nuestro cada mañana, con la mente fresca y no de noche, y al llegar a «hágase tu voluntad» pregúntale: ¿cuál es tu voluntad para mí hoy? Enséñame a hacerla.

Así lo dice la Biblia. En palabras sencillas: le pedimos a Dios que lo que él quiere se haga aquí en la tierra, igual que en el cielo. En el mensaje se dijo que la voluntad de Dios no es solo algo grande que todos aplaudan: barrer la iglesia también lo es.
1Cada mañana pregúntale a Dios: «¿qué quieres que yo haga hoy?». Si lo dejas para la noche, te quedas dormido a mitad de la oración.
2Si a alguien se le cae algo y tú te agachas a recogerlo, eso es la voluntad de Dios. Y te sientes contento por dentro, calladito, sin presumir.
3En la Biblia Dios escribió lo que piensa. Es un libro vivo: aunque lo leas veinte veces, veinte veces te habla. Por eso nadie puede decir «yo no sabía».
4¿Has visto un niño voluntarioso en la tienda, peleando por lo que quiere? Los grandes también nos ponemos así con Dios cuando queremos lo nuestro y no oramos.
5El diablo quiere robarte lo que Dios sembró en tu corazón; si le abres la puerta un poquito, te roba la obediencia. Párate firme, como en el fútbol.
6Recoger el cuarto porque te lo repiten mil veces no cuenta en el cielo. Hacerlo con alegría, porque quieres agradar a Dios, sí. Jesús obedeció al Padre aunque le costaba mucho.

¿Qué cosa haces en casa solo por obligación, refunfuñando?
Escoge una sola —una— y hazla con alegría, sin que te la repitan, todos los días hasta el próximo domingo.
