Hace tiempo que no se predicaba sobre la venida del Señor Jesucristo, el rapto: el levantamiento del cuerpo de Cristo, de todos los que llevan a ganar una vida eterna. Es lo que Dios tiene planificado para un momento de la historia, para decirle a su iglesia, esté donde esté, que se levante. Esto no es religión ni es iglesia: es que el día en que nos convertimos es el día en que, si Jesús viene, nos va a levantar. Y cada uno sabe si está dispuesto a que Él lo levante, viviendo una vida tan pura como merece.
I.No hay escuela que enseñe más que las Sagradas Escrituras.
AA. Según vamos aprendiendo, nos vamos graduando.
1.
Y Dios va viendo cuán dispuestos somos a dejarnos llevar por donde Él quiere guiarnos.
2.
El rapto es el levantamiento del cuerpo de Cristo, de todos los que llevan a ganar una vida eterna.
3.
Se levantarán para el tercer cielo, donde mora Dios; y son los que han aceptado al Señor como Salvador.
BB. Convertirse no es entrar en una religión.
1.
Es aceptar al Señor Jesucristo como nuestro Salvador, porque hemos sido pecadores.
2.
Cuando el niño nace viene en inocencia; y a la vez que comienza a conocer esta tierra, uno se va corrompiendo.
3.
Se habla de rectitud, de no violentar las reglas; pero la Biblia dice que saber hacer lo bueno y no hacerlo es pecado.
4.
Todos tenemos que ir a los pies del Señor como pecadores; por eso Jesús dio su vida y derramó su sangre.
5.
Somos limpios por su sangre, no porque seamos buena gente ni porque un día le dimos un canto de pan a alguien.
6.
A cualquiera engañamos aparentando; de quien uno se conoce bien es de uno mismo. Hoy estamos contentos y mañana no hay quien nos beba el caldo.
II.Vendré otra vez, y os tomaré a mí mismo (Juan 14:3).
AA. Si me fuere y os preparare lugar.
1.
Cuando Él se fue, fue a preparar lugar.
2.
Esa otra vez es lo que se llama el rapto, el levantamiento.
3.
Es el levantamiento que hará nuestro Señor para bien de aquellos que le sirven y le buscan siempre.
4.
El día en que nos convertimos es el día en que, si Jesús viene, nos va a levantar.
BB. Todos tenemos guerra con nosotros mismos.
1.
Aquí nadie puede decir yo no; si no es hoy es mañana, y si no es mañana es pasado.
2.
Para eso está el Espíritu Santo, para llevarnos y redargüirnos.
3.
Hay cosas que haces y después dices: qué mal me siento, ¿por qué hablé esto?
4.
Porque ya hay dentro de ti el Espíritu Santo que te va redarguyendo.
5.
Para irnos con el Señor tenemos que gustar de la santidad y de la búsqueda con Dios.
CC. El que conoce las Escrituras no se deja engañar.
1.
He conocido personas en la falsedad del Evangelio y he estado en atmósferas en las que tú nunca has estado.
2.
Pero en ese tiempo luchaba por mi alma, para que no se condenara.
3.
Si hay personas que dominan tu cabeza por sus posiciones, piensas que tienen la verdad.
4.
Pero cuando vas a las Escrituras, sabes cuál es la verdad; y la verdad nos hizo libres.
5.
No somos cautivos de las falsedades de los seres humanos.
III.Jesús habla de su partida.
AA. Muerte, resurrección y ascensión.
1.
Llegó a la tierra, gustó de la muerte, resucitó y ascendió; subió al tercer cielo.
2.
Se cree que fue un promedio de cincuenta días, en los que estuvo también donde estaban los que habían partido antes.
3.
Los que habían sido salvos no por la gracia, sino por la ley; y sigue siendo el pueblo de Dios, Israel.
4.
La Escritura lo deja claro como el seno de Abraham, cuando se dice: ve donde mi hermano y pásale un poco de agua en los labios.
BB. Yo me agarro de la gracia.
1.
Y busco a Dios con fuerza, con pasión y con entrega.
2.
Porque ir al cielo no es tan fácil como todo el mundo dice, como si fuera un regalo.
3.
Tenemos que saber cómo vivimos nuestra vida, amando a Dios con toda la fuerza.
4.
No vamos a estar burlándonos de Dios ni pisando la sangre de Cristo.
5.
Te puede gustar la iglesia por los himnos; y la predicación te puede picar y te puede molestar.
CC. No fue abandonado: fue parte de un plan.
1.
Ascendió y fue exaltado a la diestra del Padre.
2.
Cuando estaba en la cruz dijo: Padre, ¿por qué me has desamparado? No era que iba a ser abandonado.
3.
Era un plan consultado en el tercer cielo; Jesús tenía que decir esas palabras.
4.
Y quien recogió lo que Jesús hablaba lo hizo para que tú y yo lo supiéramos.
5.
Bendito sea Dios que nos dejó su Sagrada Escritura, punto por punto; si no la lees, estás perdiendo los mejores libros de la existencia humana.
IV.Hay un destino real para los suyos.
AA. No es improvisado.
1.
Cristo lo prepara; es una promesa directa: Jesús vuelve.
2.
La esperanza cristiana no es solo ir al cielo: es que Él regresará.
3.
Y os tomaré a mí mismo: es personal; no dice que mandará a alguien, dice yo.
4.
Es comunión, es pertenencia, es abrazo de rescate.
5.
Para que donde yo estoy, vosotros también estéis: el final glorioso es estar con Cristo.
BB. ¿Qué conquista tienes cuando te mueras?
1.
Aquí puedes pensar que tienes mucha conquista.
2.
Esto no es cuestión de que a uno le guste o no, como se gusta un plato de comida.
3.
Es cuestión de ser responsables con nuestra propia alma.
4.
Ahora tienes cuerpo y le das lo que te place; pero ¿a dónde vas a llevar ese cuerpo?
5.
Decimos al cielo; y no: al cielo no va todo el mundo.
CC. Predestinación y libre albedrío.
1.
Yo entiendo que estoy en ese destino. ¿Qué entiendes tú de tu vida?
2.
Eso se llama predestinación; eso se llama ser elegido, porque Dios sabe quién le será fiel y quién no.
3.
El predicador brinca, salta, ora, tira y jala; pero lo hace por esforzarse hasta gastarse hasta el último día.
4.
Porque no sé quién de ustedes va a ser salvo, ni quién va a conservar su salvación.
5.
Y llego a una ansiedad que me desespera, y no puedo hacer nada: es un libre albedrío, está en las manos del que quiere.
6.
Hay que pelear esta buena batalla; porque si no, uno se acuesta para atrás y ahí se murió.
V.El justo parte con el Señor en bienestar.
AA. Dios mete su mano poderosa.
1.
Acompañé a una familia muy amada donde había un hermano muy enfermo, ya en sus ochenta y tantos años.
2.
Y aquel cuerpo comenzó a restaurarse; porque el justo siempre ha de partir con el Señor en bienestar, no en agonía ni en tormento.
3.
Cuando uno parte con el Señor, parte lleno de ángeles alrededor, que son los que nos llevan y nos enseñan el camino.
4.
Y ahí se nos dirá: en lo poco fuiste fiel, en lo mucho te pondré.
5.
Partir con el Señor sería mucho mejor: ya no hay carga, ni problema, ni peso, ni dolores.
6.
Si hay algo que debemos aprender en la vida es que vamos a ver al Señor. Eso es una alegría.
BB. El rapto será cuestión de abrir y cerrar los ojos.
1.
Será a nivel del cielo, y Jesús vendrá con los que ya están allá.
2.
Ahí no hay tiempo para arrepentirse.
3.
Los que no se fueron quedarán bajo el anticristo, que tendrá más habilidad, más poderío y más señorío.
4.
Dominará y llegará a acuerdos con las naciones; eso sería ya un estudio completo del Apocalipsis.
5.
Solamente el pueblo escogido de Dios, que no es el pueblo de la gracia, será escondido y tendrá otra forma de guerrear.
CC. El cielo es cielo porque Él está allí.
1.
En el cielo está Dios en su trono y el Hijo a su diestra.
2.
Y el Espíritu Santo, que puede estar en el cielo y está en nosotros por igual.
3.
Los tres de la Deidad pueden estar en todos los sitios; pero el que mora en ti es el Espíritu Santo.
4.
Y el que te lavó de todos tus pecados es el Señor Jesucristo por medio de su sangre.
5.
Ya tuvo una venida; falta la segunda, cuando Él venga y nos recoja, si no partimos antes.
DD. La predicación es una preparación.
1.
Por eso se nos manda que no seamos ya como niños y que tengamos el fruto del Espíritu.
2.
No es que yo quiera venir a hablar: es la forma en que usted se va preparando para ese día.
3.
El día final será después de que se cumpla el Apocalipsis, los siete años.
4.
Y se tendrán que sellar todos con el seiscientos sesenta y seis; y para no ser sellado, hay que ser degollado.
5.
Los que suben bañados en sangre son los que no se dejaron poner el sello; el premio es que los degollaron.
6.
Yo leo el Apocalipsis temblando, porque es tan real; y quedarse aquí, o ser tibio, es peor.
Jesús los llama benditos: a los que viven como siervos fieles, obedientes y constantes.
2.
La obediencia tiene que ser constante.
3.
Tú puedes ser constante tres días y al cuarto se te olvidó: el primer día te levantas a la oración, el segundo con sacrificio, y el tercero un cabezazo.
4.
Yo no te hablo fantasía; yo detesto las fantasías, nunca he vivido en fantasías.
BB. Cuando venga, es la segunda venida.
1.
Será el llamado para los convertidos, para los que han sido constantes y aman a Dios con toda la fuerza.
2.
Se elevarán, estarán con Él y de ahí llegarán al trono del Padre.
3.
Jesús es el que se para en las nubes, y ahí es el llamado.
4.
Y ahí hay una transformación: no vamos a llegar al lado del Hijo con esta ropa.
5.
Las túnicas de los justos están hechas; todos quedaremos vestidos al momento de ser elevados.
6.
Y cuando lleguemos frente al Maestro, esos ojos nos mirarán a cada uno, y la palabra será: en lo poco fuiste fiel, en lo mucho te pondré.
CC. Halle velando.
1.
Él regresa como Señor y pedirá cuenta; por eso nos debe hallar velando.
2.
Si te enfrías —viene el culto y el lunes ya estás en el mundo—, si Él no te encuentra trabajando, la salvación la pierdes como si nada.
3.
No es solo que tú te defiendas: en el cielo se apuntan todos los libros.
4.
También se abrieron los juicios para los que eran salvos, para decirnos lo que no llevamos a ganar.
5.
No es que nos echen al lago de fuego: es que tenías que hacer esto y no lo hiciste, y por ende no tienes la recompensa.
6.
Que siempre estemos dispuestos y despiertos espiritualmente: oración, santidad, servicio. Porque no es mucho lo que Dios nos pide.
DD. Se ceñirá, y hará que se sienten a la mesa, y vendrá a servirles.
1.
De cierto os digo: Jesús lo afirma con autoridad; esto es seguro.
2.
Nos sentará a la mesa después de ceñirse; quiere decir que Él estará a la cabecera.
3.
Es la imagen de alguien que se prepara para servir: se amarra la túnica para trabajar, como con el cinto cuando se lavaban los pies.
4.
Habla de honra y de comunión: los fieles son recibidos como invitados de honor.
5.
Él será el que sirva a todos. No es un lujo: es una extravagancia.
6.
¿Y a ti qué te pesa tanto servirle, si vivimos quejándonos? Si llueve te quejas, y si no llueve también.
VII.Nuestra ciudadanía está en los cielos (Filipenses 3:20-21).
AA. Yo soy ciudadana del cielo.
1.
Hay grandes privilegios según cuál sea la ciudadanía cuando uno se mueve de país en país.
2.
Tener una ciudadanía donde hay cuidado de sus ciudadanos es un bienestar para la vida.
3.
Nuestro Señor Jesucristo está pendiente día y noche de la colonia del cielo, porque nuestra colonia es el cielo.
4.
El cielo está pendiente de cómo nos movemos en la tierra, y los ángeles están constantemente en ese caminar.
5.
Nuestra lealtad es al Señor en el cielo; ser cumplidores de Dios es una lealtad al Señor en el cielo.
BB. De donde también esperamos al Salvador.
1.
No solo somos ciudadanos del cielo: del cielo esperamos anhelantemente al Salvador.
2.
No hay nada que temer: hay mucho que hacer, mucho que vivir y mucho que creer.
3.
Tenemos que salir del cascarón, de esa idea de que somos absolutos.
4.
Lo grande en nuestra vida es que estamos luchando por el reino de los cielos.
5.
No vivimos según la mente y los valores del mundo, sino con otra identidad; aquí somos peregrinos.
6.
No esperamos solo una mejora: esperamos a una persona, al gran Yo Soy, a Jesús, quien salva y gobierna.
CC. La ciudadanía de la carne caduca.
1.
Estar aquí y vivir en la carne y en los placeres de la carne no tiene ciudadanía.
2.
Te convertiste, hiciste profesión de fe, estuviste luchando; y caduca.
3.
Y lo que era importante deja de ser importante, porque ya nadie defiende esa ciudadanía.
4.
Según buscas a Dios, así están los años de tu ciudadanía.
5.
La vida no es un juego; este es el peor lugar para pisar si no vamos a amar al Señor.
6.
¿Y qué haces para que Él se vaya? Lo botas tú; Él no se va porque quiere, pero donde no lo quieren no se queda.
DD. Transformará el cuerpo de la humillación nuestra.
1.
No hay nada vil ni malo en el cuerpo humano mismo: el mal reside en los malos usos que se le da.
2.
Pero es un cuerpo sujeto: arrugas, cicatrices, sufrimientos, enfermedades, muerte; eso espera a todos por igual.
3.
De lo que se presume hoy, dentro de unos años se fue al piso.
4.
Este cuerpo, mientras está en la tierra, todavía se prepara para el día de su levantamiento.
5.
Cuidado con la iglesia de Cristo: meterse con ella es meterse con Dios y con la sangre de Cristo.
6.
Hay muchas cosas que se pueden perder; podría decirse que es mejor no haber nacido, porque es tocar al Espíritu Santo.
EE. Semejante al cuerpo de la gloria suya.
1.
El Señor lo transfigurará a un cuerpo de gloria; no conocemos todo el sentido de esto.
2.
Ya no estará sujeto a la decadencia ni a la muerte, ni a las limitaciones del tiempo, ni a las barreras naturales.
3.
Será un cuerpo real, pero perfectamente ajustado a las condiciones del cielo.
4.
Será como el cuerpo de resurrección del Señor Jesús; y no significa que todos tengamos igual apariencia física.
5.
Jesús era claramente reconocible tras su resurrección, y cada uno tendrá su propia identidad física para la eternidad.
6.
Y como el Señor Jesús, estaremos siempre exentos de pecado; pero aquí en la tierra hay que estar luchando siempre, porque no es necesario pecar.
VIII.Cuando Cristo, vuestra vida, se manifieste (Colosenses 3:4).
AA. Cristo, vuestra vida.
1.
No dice solo que Cristo te ayuda, sino que Cristo es tu vida; por eso es que te vas a levantar.
2.
Y si Cristo es tu vida, pues vive Él en ti, y no la tuya.
3.
Mientras no te niegues, seguirás haciendo mucho mal en la tierra; porque hay que negarse.
4.
Cuando te niegues, será entonces Cristo el que haga en ti: tu fuente, tu sentido y tu identidad.
5.
¿Quién eres tú en Él? Porque para que tú estés en Él, Él tiene que estar en ti.
6.
Tú escoges los mensajes que te gustan; y en los que no te gustan te vas a la meditación, porque si escucharas explotaría todo lo que hay dentro.
BB. Seréis manifestados con él en gloria.
1.
Habla de su aparición, de esa venida en gloria, del día en que Cristo será visto y reconocido públicamente.
2.
El creyente no quedará oculto ni olvidado: Dios mostrará quiénes son realmente los suyos.
3.
Podemos aparentar; pero Dios siempre va a dejar ver quiénes son los suyos.
4.
Cuando termine el tiempo de la lucha y de la fragilidad, vienen honra, restauración y plenitud con el Señor.
5.
No tienes nada grande que darle a Él; lo único que yo tengo es mi amor hacia Él.
IX.Le veremos tal como él es (1 Juan 3:2).
AA. Ahora somos hijos de Dios.
1.
Ya es una realidad presente; no seremos hijos algún día: ya lo somos por gracia.
2.
Y aún no se ha manifestado lo que hemos de ser: todavía no vemos la plenitud de lo que Dios hará en nosotros.
3.
Hay un todavía no.
BB. Cuando él se manifieste, seremos semejantes a él.
1.
Habla de la venida de Cristo, de su aparición en gloria.
2.
Seremos transformados, sin pecado, sin corrupción, con vida glorificada.
3.
Porque le veremos tal como él es: esa es la visión de Cristo, el clímax, el momento decisivo.
4.
Verlo tal como es implica plena transformación.
5.
Tu presente puede tener lucha, pero tu destino está completamente definido: ver a Cristo y ser hecho como Él en la eternidad.
X.Recibiréis la corona incorruptible de gloria (1 Pedro 5:4).
AA. La obra del anciano.
1.
Involucra un enorme gasto de energía física y emocional.
2.
Ha de exhortar, aconsejar, reprender, amonestar, enseñar, disciplinar y advertir.
3.
En ocasiones puede resultar una tarea ingrata.
4.
Pero al anciano fiel se le promete una recompensa especial: cuando aparezca el Príncipe de los pastores, recibirá la corona incorruptible.
BB. No pierdan el tiempo.
1.
Si Dios los llamó desde jóvenes, bienaventurados son; si los llamó desde el vientre de su madre, mejor les irá la vida.
2.
No toques lo que esta tierra te ofrece, porque será tu desgracia; al que más se le dio, más se le demandará.
3.
Si los padres no crecen en sabiduría y no enseñan a los hijos, el fracaso no será solo de los hijos: será también del padre.
4.
En nuestras manos está todo lo que nos toca guerrear; no he visto justo desamparado, ni su descendencia que mendigue pan.
5.
El fracaso es tuyo y está en tus manos; tu victoria es la que no has querido llevar. Y el que tenga oído, que escuche.

We Shall See Him As He Is
John 14:3
Introduction
It had been some time since we preached on the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the rapture: the taking up of the body of Christ, of all who are to gain eternal life. It is what God has planned for a moment in history, to tell His church, wherever it is, to rise. This is not religion and it is not church: it is that the day we were converted is the day on which, if Jesus comes, He will take us up. And each one knows whether he is ready to be taken, living a life as pure as it deserves.
I.No school teaches more than the Holy Scriptures.
AA. As we learn, we are graduating.
1.
And God is seeing how willing we are to be led where He wants to set our lives right and guide us.
2.
The rapture is the taking up of the body of Christ, of all who are to gain eternal life.
3.
They will rise to the third heaven, where God dwells; and they are those who have received the Lord as Saviour.
BB. To be converted is not to enter a religion.
1.
It is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, because we have been sinners.
2.
A child is born in innocence; and as soon as he begins to know this earth, he begins to be corrupted.
3.
People speak of uprightness, of not breaking the rules; but the Bible says that to know to do good and not do it is sin.
4.
We must all come to the feet of the Lord as sinners; that is why Jesus gave His life and shed His blood.
5.
We are cleansed by His blood, not because we are good people nor because one day we gave someone a piece of bread.
6.
We deceive anyone by appearances; the one we truly know is ourselves. Today we are content and tomorrow no one can bear us.
II.I will come again, and receive you unto myself (John 14:3).
AA. If I go and prepare a place for you.
1.
When He went away, He went to prepare a place.
2.
That again is what is called the rapture, the taking up.
3.
It is the taking up our Lord will do for the good of those who serve Him and always seek Him.
4.
The day we were converted is the day on which, if Jesus comes, He will take us up.
BB. We all have a war with ourselves.
1.
No one here can say I do not; if not today, tomorrow, and if not tomorrow, the day after.
2.
That is what the Holy Spirit is for: to carry us and to reprove us.
3.
There are things you do and afterward you say: how badly I feel, why did I say that?
4.
Because there is already within you the Holy Spirit reproving you.
5.
To go with the Lord we must have a taste for holiness and for seeking God.
CC. He who knows the Scriptures is not deceived.
1.
I have known people in the falseness of the Gospel and have been in settings you have never been in.
2.
But in that time I fought for my soul, that it not be condemned.
3.
If people dominate your mind by their position, you think they have the truth.
4.
But when you go to the Scriptures, you know what the truth is; and the truth made us free.
5.
We are not captives of the falsehoods of human beings.
III.Jesus speaks of His departure.
AA. Death, resurrection and ascension.
1.
He came to earth, tasted death, rose and ascended; He went up to the third heaven.
2.
It is thought it was about fifty days, in which He was also where those who had departed before were.
3.
Those who had been saved not by grace, but by the law; and that is still the people of God, Israel.
4.
Scripture makes it clear as the bosom of Abraham, when it is said: go to my brother and pass a little water over his lips.
BB. I take hold of grace.
1.
And I seek God with strength, with passion and with surrender.
2.
For going to heaven is not as easy as everyone says, as if it were a gift.
3.
We must know how we live our life, loving God with all our strength.
4.
We are not going to mock God nor trample the blood of Christ.
5.
You may like the church simply for the hymns; and the preaching may sting you and may vex you.
CC. He was not abandoned: it was part of a plan.
1.
He ascended and was exalted at the right hand of the Father.
2.
On the cross He said: Father, why hast thou forsaken me? It was not that He would be abandoned.
3.
It was a plan settled in the third heaven; Jesus had to say those words.
4.
And the one who gathered what Jesus spoke did so that you and I might know it.
5.
Blessed be God who left us His Holy Scripture, point by point; if you do not read it, you are losing the greatest books of human existence.
IV.There is a real destiny for His own.
AA. It is not improvised.
1.
Christ prepares it; it is a direct promise: Jesus returns.
2.
Christian hope is not only going to heaven: it is that He will return.
3.
And receive you unto myself: it is personal; He does not say He will send someone, He says I.
4.
It is communion, it is belonging, it is the embrace of rescue.
5.
That where I am, there ye may be also: the glorious end is to be with Christ.
BB. What conquest have you when you die?
1.
Here you may think you have much conquest.
2.
This is not a matter of liking or not liking, as one likes a plate of food.
3.
It is a matter of being responsible for our own soul.
4.
Now you have a body and you give it what pleases you; but where will you take that body?
5.
We say to heaven; and no: not everyone goes to heaven.
CC. Predestination and free will.
1.
I understand that I am in that destiny. What do you understand of your life?
2.
That is called predestination; that is called being chosen, for God knows who will be faithful to Him and who will not.
3.
The preacher leaps, prays, pulls and pushes; but she does it to spend herself to the last day.
4.
Because I do not know which of you will be saved, nor who will keep his salvation.
5.
And I come to an anxiety that presses me, and I can do nothing: it is free will, it is in the hands of whoever wills.
6.
We must fight this good fight; for otherwise one lies back and there one dies.
V.The righteous depart with the Lord in peace.
AA. God puts forth His mighty hand.
1.
I went to a dearly loved family where there was a much loved brother, very ill, already in his eighties.
2.
And that body began to be restored; for I believe the righteous always departs with the Lord in well-being, not in agony nor in torment.
3.
When one departs with the Lord, he departs full of angels around him, who carry us and show us the way.
4.
And there it will be said: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many.
5.
To depart with the Lord would be far better: no more burden, no trouble, no weight, no pains.
6.
If there is one thing we must learn in life, it is that we are going to see the Lord. That is a joy.
BB. The rapture will be in the blink of an eye.
1.
It will be at the level of heaven, and Jesus will come with those already there.
2.
There will be no time then to repent.
3.
Those who did not go will remain under the antichrist, who will have more skill, more might and more dominion.
4.
He will rule and will make agreements with the nations; that would be a whole study of the Revelation.
5.
Only the chosen people of God, who are not the people of grace, will be hidden and will have another way of warring.
CC. Heaven is heaven because He is there.
1.
In heaven is God on His throne and the Son at His right hand.
2.
And the Holy Spirit, who can be in heaven and is in us alike.
3.
The three of the Godhead can be in every place; but the one who dwells in you is the Holy Spirit.
4.
And the one who washed you of all your sins is the Lord Jesus Christ by His blood.
5.
He has come once; the second is still to come, when He comes and gathers us, if we do not depart first.
DD. Preaching is a preparation.
1.
That is why we are told to be children no longer and to have the fruit of the Spirit.
2.
It is not that I want to come and talk: it is how you are being prepared for that day.
3.
The final day will be after the Revelation is fulfilled, the seven years.
4.
And all will have to be sealed with the six hundred sixty-six; and to avoid the seal, one must be beheaded.
5.
Those who come up washed in blood are those who would not take the mark; the prize is that they were beheaded.
6.
I read the Revelation trembling, because it is so real; and to remain here, or to be lukewarm, is worse.
VI.Blessed are those servants, whom the lord shall find watching (Luke 12:37).
AA. Blessed are those servants.
1.
Jesus calls them blessed: those who live as faithful, obedient and constant servants.
2.
Obedience must be constant.
3.
You can be constant three days and on the fourth you forgot: the first day you rise to pray, the second with effort, and the third a nod of the head.
4.
I do not speak fantasy to you; I detest fantasies, I have never lived in fantasies.
BB. When he cometh: it is the second coming.
1.
It will be the call for the converted, for those who have been constant and love God with all their strength.
2.
They will rise, they will be with Him and from there they will come to the throne of the Father.
3.
Jesus is the one who stands in the clouds, and there is the call.
4.
And there is a transformation: we are not going to come to the Son's side in these clothes.
5.
The robes of the righteous are made; we will all be clothed at the moment of being taken up.
6.
And when we come before the Master, those eyes will look at each one, and the word will be: thou hast been faithful over a few things.
CC. Shall find watching.
1.
He returns as Lord and will require an account; that is why He must find us watching.
2.
If you grow cold — the service comes and by Monday you are in the world — if He does not find you working, you lose salvation as if it were nothing.
3.
It is not only a matter of defending yourself: in heaven all the books are written.
4.
The judgments were also opened for those who were saved, to tell us what we failed to gain.
5.
It is not that we are cast into the lake of fire: it is that you were to do this and did not, and therefore you have no reward.
6.
Let us always be ready and spiritually awake: prayer, holiness, service. For it is not much that God asks of us.
DD. He shall gird himself, and make them to sit down, and will come forth and serve them.
1.
Verily I say unto you: Jesus affirms it with authority; this is sure.
2.
He will seat us at the table after girding Himself; which means He will be at the head.
3.
It is the image of one who prepares to serve: he ties up his robe to work, as with the girdle at the washing of feet.
4.
It speaks of honour and of communion: the faithful are received as guests of honour.
5.
He will be the one who serves them all. It is no luxury: it is extravagance.
6.
And what is so heavy to you about serving Him, when we live complaining? If it rains you complain, and if it does not rain you complain.
VII.Our conversation is in heaven (Philippians 3:20-21).
AA. I am a citizen of heaven.
1.
There are great privileges depending on one's citizenship when moving from country to country.
2.
To have a citizenship where there is care for its citizens is a benefit for one's life.
3.
Our Lord Jesus Christ watches day and night over the colony of heaven, for our colony is heaven.
4.
Heaven watches how we move on the earth, and the angels are constantly in that walking.
5.
Our loyalty is to the Lord in heaven; to be keepers of God is a loyalty to the Lord in heaven.
BB. From whence also we look for the Saviour.
1.
We are not only citizens of heaven: from heaven we look eagerly for the Saviour.
2.
There is nothing to fear: there is much to do, much to live and much to believe.
3.
We must come out of the shell, out of that notion that we are absolute.
4.
The great thing in our life is that we are fighting for the kingdom of heaven.
5.
We do not live by the mind and the values of the world, but with another identity; here we are pilgrims.
6.
We do not look only for improvement: we look for a person, the great I AM, Jesus, who saves and rules.
CC. The citizenship of the flesh expires.
1.
To be here and live in the flesh and in the pleasures of the flesh has no citizenship.
2.
You were converted, you made profession of faith, you were fighting; and it expires.
3.
And what was important ceases to be important, because no one defends that citizenship any more.
4.
As you seek God, so stand the years of your citizenship.
5.
Life is no game; this is the worst place to tread if we are not going to love the Lord.
6.
And what do you do to make Him leave? You throw Him out; He does not go because He wants to, but where He is not wanted He does not stay.
DD. Who shall change our vile body.
1.
There is nothing vile or evil in the human body itself: the evil lies in the bad uses made of it.
2.
But it is a body subject to it all: wrinkles, scars, sufferings, sicknesses, death; that awaits every body alike.
3.
What one boasts of today, in a few years falls to the floor.
4.
This body, while on the earth, is still preparing for the day of its rising.
5.
Take care with the church of Christ: to meddle with her is to meddle with God and with the blood of Christ.
6.
Much can be lost; it might be said that it were better not to have been born, because it is touching the Holy Spirit.
EE. Fashioned like unto his glorious body.
1.
The Lord will transfigure it into a body of glory; we do not know the whole meaning of this.
2.
It will no longer be subject to decay nor to death, nor to the limits of time, nor to natural barriers.
3.
It will be a real body, but perfectly fitted to the conditions of heaven.
4.
It will be like the resurrection body of the Lord Jesus; which does not mean we shall all look alike.
5.
Jesus was clearly recognizable after His resurrection, and each one will have his own physical identity for eternity.
6.
And like the Lord Jesus we shall be forever free from sin; but here on earth we must always be fighting, for it is not necessary to sin.
VIII.When Christ, who is our life, shall appear (Colossians 3:4).
AA. Christ, who is our life.
1.
It does not say only that Christ helps you, but that Christ is your life; that is why you will rise.
2.
And if Christ is your life, then He lives in you, and not your own.
3.
So long as you do not deny yourself, you will go on doing much harm on the earth; for one must deny himself.
4.
When you deny yourself, then it will be Christ who works in you: your source, your meaning and your identity.
5.
Who are you in Him? For you to be in Him, He must be in you.
6.
You choose the messages you like; and at those you dislike you go off into thought, for if you listened everything within would burst out.
BB. Then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
1.
It speaks of His appearing, of that coming in glory, of the day Christ will be seen and publicly acknowledged.
2.
The believer will not be left hidden nor forgotten: God will show who are truly His.
3.
We can keep up appearances; but God will always let it be seen who are His.
4.
When the time of struggle and frailty ends, there come honour, restoration and fulness with the Lord.
5.
You have nothing great to give Him; the only thing I have is my love toward Him.
IX.We shall see him as he is (1 John 3:2).
AA. Now are we the sons of God.
1.
It is already a present reality; we shall not be sons someday: we already are, by grace.
2.
And it doth not yet appear what we shall be: we do not yet see the fulness of what God will do in us.
3.
There is a not yet.
BB. When he shall appear, we shall be like him.
1.
It speaks of the coming of Christ, of His appearing in glory.
2.
We shall be transformed, without sin, without corruption, with glorified life.
3.
For we shall see him as he is: that is the vision of Christ, the climax, the decisive moment.
4.
To see Him as He is implies full transformation.
5.
Your present may have struggle, but your destiny is wholly settled: to see Christ and be made like Him in eternity.
X.Ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away (1 Peter 5:4).
AA. The work of an elder.
1.
It involves an enormous expense of physical and emotional strength.
2.
He must exhort, counsel, rebuke, admonish, teach, discipline and warn.
3.
At times it can be a thankless task.
4.
But to the faithful elder a special reward is promised: when the chief Shepherd appears, he shall receive the incorruptible crown.
BB. Do not waste time.
1.
If God called you young, blessed are you; if He called you from your mother's womb, life will go better for you.
2.
Do not touch what this earth offers, for it will be your ruin; to whom much was given, much will be required.
3.
If parents do not grow in wisdom and do not teach their children, the failure will not be the children's only: it will be the father's too.
4.
In our hands is all that we must fight for; I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
5.
The failure is yours and it is in your hands; your victory is the one you have not wanted to carry. And he that hath an ear, let him hear.

“Y si me fuere y os preparare lugar, vendré otra vez, y os tomaré a mí mismo, para que donde yo estoy, vosotros también estéis.”

El rapto es el levantamiento del cuerpo de Cristo, de todos los que llevan a ganar una vida eterna. Esto no es religión: el día en que nos convertimos es el día en que, si Jesús viene, nos levanta. Estos son los puntos del domingo, para toda la semana.
Convertirse no es entrar en una religión: es ir a los pies del Señor como pecadores, limpios por su sangre, no por ser buena gente. Todos tenemos guerra con nosotros mismos; para eso el Espíritu Santo redarguye.
«Vendré otra vez, y os tomaré a mí mismo»: es personal, no manda a nadie, dice «yo». Jesús no fue abandonado en la cruz: fue un plan entre el Padre y el Hijo, y volver es promesa directa.
Al cielo no va todo el mundo, ni es tan fácil como un regalo. Es ser responsables con la propia alma: es libre albedrío, está en las manos del que quiere. Hay que pelear esta buena batalla.
El justo parte con el Señor en bienestar, entre ángeles. El rapto será cuestión de abrir y cerrar los ojos, sin tiempo para arrepentirse; los que se queden quedarán bajo el anticristo. Ser tibio es peor.
Bienaventurado el siervo que el Señor halle velando: oración, santidad, servicio, con obediencia constante, no tres días y al cuarto un cabezazo. Y Él se ceñirá y vendrá a servirnos a la mesa: una extravagancia.
Nuestra ciudadanía está en los cielos: aquí somos peregrinos y nuestra lealtad es al Señor. Este cuerpo de humillación —arrugas, enfermedad, muerte— será transformado semejante al cuerpo de su gloria.
Cristo es tu vida, no solo tu ayuda; por eso hay que negarse. Ahora somos hijos de Dios, y cuando Él se manifieste le veremos tal como es: tu presente tiene lucha, pero tu destino está definido.
Para esta semana
Cada mañana, al levantarte, recuerda que Jesús fue a preparar tu casa, y pregúntate si hoy te hallaría velando: ora, sé santo, sirve. No pierdas el tiempo.

Así lo dice la Biblia. En palabras sencillas: Jesús se fue a preparar un lugar en el cielo, y va a volver a buscarnos para que estemos con Él. La pastora dijo que ese día Jesús mismo nos sentará a la mesa y Él nos servirá.
1Jesús no se fue para siempre. Se fue a preparar tu casa en el cielo, y prometió: «vendré otra vez». No manda a nadie: viene Él mismo.
2Cuando Jesús vuelva a buscar a los suyos, será como abrir y cerrar los ojos: no hay tiempo para arrepentirse. Por eso hay que estar listo hoy.
3Al cielo no va todo el mundo. No es un regalo que se recibe sin más: cada uno es responsable de su propia alma, y Dios no obliga a nadie.
4Jesús llama bienaventurado al siervo que Él encuentre velando: el que ora, obedece y sirve todos los días, no tres días y al cuarto un cabezazo.
5Ese día Jesús se amarrará la túnica como un sirviente y nos servirá la mesa Él mismo. Y nos dirá: «en lo poco fuiste fiel, en lo mucho te pondré».
6Somos ciudadanos del cielo: aquí estamos de paso. Ahora somos hijos de Dios, y cuando Jesús aparezca lo veremos tal como es y seremos como Él, sin enfermedad y sin pecado.
