Al pasar los tiempos, los días, los años y las décadas, es muy fácil convertirse de nuevo en ordinario y común; es más fácil eso que ser un creyente que va aumentando de gloria en gloria. Dios quiere repartir, pero Dios no puede repartirle a nadie con un corazón tibio, ni a nadie que esté pendiente de otras cosas que no sean el Señor. Lo que nos ha motivado y lo que nos permite estar hoy de pie es la fe; no hay nada más. Es fácil, cuando se sale por las puertas, volver a lo antiguo; lo difícil es mantenerse en la fe. Por eso el título de este mensaje es: no muera la fe.
I.Todo lo que pidiereis orando, creed que lo recibiréis, y os vendrá (Marcos 11:24).
AA. Nuestra existencia la compone nuestra fe.
1.
¿Qué fue Abraham sino un hombre de fe? ¿Qué fue Isaac? ¿Qué fue Jacob? Todos fueron hombres mansos, capacitados en la fe; ninguno más grande que otro en nivel espiritual.
2.
¿Qué es la fe? La certeza de lo que no se ve; es lo que nunca se va a ver por naturaleza, y hay un esfuerzo de nuestra parte.
3.
Si dejas que la fe muera, el problema es que no seguimos creciendo espiritualmente; porque para crecer y conocer a Dios directamente es mediante la fe.
4.
Y no es difícil que la fe no muera: es fácil que muera. Tú dices yo sigo viniendo a la iglesia, y el problema es que la fe, en vez de ir en aumento, va careciendo.
5.
Por tal razón hay cosas que se dejan de hacer: dejas de orar, dejas de leer la Palabra, dejas de cantar con entusiasmo y de levantar las manos con acción de gracias.
6.
Y de momento eso se va opacando, porque nos aficionamos más al afán de la tierra; y la tierra tiene mucho para afanarse.
BB. Si la fe muere, viene la derrota.
1.
¿Qué es la derrota? Un vencimiento. Si faltas a un culto y no te preocupa nada, se te ha vencido; y en la derrota comienzan los fracasos en todo.
2.
Hoy todavía ves esperanza; pero no te puedo asegurar que dentro de tres años la tendrás, si hoy le has puesto el corazón a lo que te lleva a la derrota de la fe. Cuando viene la tormenta, arranca de raíz.
3.
Cuando vemos que ya estamos negociando más con el mundo que con los santos, ahí hay una derrota, porque se ha escaseado la fe.
4.
En lo militar, un ejército vencido queda desordenado y viene la aniquilación; y si esos soldados representan a un país, ese país llega a la ruina y queda destruida la nación donde viven.
5.
Cuando uno le permite a Satanás tomar mucho lugar, viene la gran derrota; porque darle lugar a Satanás es tener el alejamiento de los ángeles, y nuestros soldados son ángeles.
6.
Si los ángeles ven que tú no estás colocado en lugar de guerra, se echan hacia atrás; porque el Padre dice: yo con los tibios no me llevo.
II.Es, pues, la fe la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de lo que no se ve (Hebreos 11:1).
AA. La fe no es vanidad ni fantasía.
1.
Tal vez tú tienes metas de ambiciones; eso no es fe, eso es vanidad. La fe no es vanidosa ni pretende algo.
2.
Yo quiero estudiar esto y oro para que Dios me lo dé: ¿no ves que eso es para después presumir con los demás? Eso es meramente una necesidad para sentirse uno tranquilo.
3.
La fe son los misterios que no podemos alcanzar con una mente común; es todo aquello sobrenatural que viene del cielo para nuestras vidas.
4.
Cuando la fe se te ha dormido, es porque tú la dejaste dormir. Cuando uno está ausente de fe, es porque uno se ha puesto a dormir espiritualmente.
5.
La fe es para traspasar aquello a lo que nosotros no podemos llegar. ¿Te preocupa que alguien no crezca espiritualmente? Si eres alguien de fe, oras para que Dios sea el que haga, y esperas lo que oraste.
6.
Con un poquito que Dios haga, va a seguir creciendo nuestra fe. Porque por creer, tú vas a creer mucho; y siempre lo que crees es negativo, hundido y fracasado.
BB. La permanencia de la fe.
1.
Cuando nos convertimos tenemos pasión y fuerza; y va pasando el tiempo, y después comenzamos otra vez a ver la vanidad y lo que el mundo ofrece.
2.
¿Dónde pusiste los ojos? Donde pusiste los ojos, pusiste el corazón; por tal razón el corazón pierde la fe, y todo el sistema pierde la fe.
3.
Abraham no podía tener hijos; Isaac se tardó en tener hijos. Todo ha sido luchado mediante la fe: creerle a Dios donde había un pozo para dar de beber a sus animales y a sus criados.
4.
Tú abres la pluma y hay agua; todo se ha acomodado tanto que parece que no es necesario ejercitar la fe. Pero cuando llega el día malo, no la ejercitaste y te estás ahogando.
5.
A aquellos hombres les fue común conocer la fe, porque necesitaban un milagro para el agua. ¿Y nosotros? Esta marca de agua está un poquito amarga, abre otro pote. ¿En qué nos hemos ahogado? En tonterías.
6.
La fe hace que las realidades que se esperan se nos hagan tan reales como si ya las poseyésemos; nos trae el futuro al presente y hace visto lo invisible.
III.La fe es la confianza en la fiabilidad de Dios, y Dios la prueba en el crisol.
AA. La convicción de que lo que Dios dice es verdad.
1.
Es el convencimiento de que lo que Dios promete se cumplirá. Busquémoslo en espíritu y en verdad, porque no es pedir capricho.
2.
Hay convicciones que sabemos que tenemos que pedirle a Dios y que tenemos que luchar; y tenemos que demostrarle que le somos fieles y que Él es el absoluto en nuestra vida.
3.
Dejarle ver que siempre tenemos una espada en la mano, que vamos hacia adelante, que no tenemos quejas en la boca, y que lo que más nos pesa es que todo sea bueno, santo y puro.
4.
Pero hoy un poquito y mañana cinco para atrás; y entonces se nos hace una ambición lo que es la tierra. No sigas luchando tanto por la tierra: conviértete en soldado del Señor Jesucristo.
5.
Si estuvieses manejando la fe en tu existencia, llegarías por la puerta con acción de gracias y con cánticos, porque aquí Dios siempre nos tiene palabras activas para crecimiento y para ser libres.
BB. La fe comienza donde terminan las posibilidades.
1.
No es un salto a las tinieblas: la fe exige la más segura evidencia, y el encuentro está en la Palabra de Dios. Si tú ni oras ni lees la Palabra, estás en ruina.
2.
Hoy estás atado porque hay cosas que pensabas que iban a ser posibles y se han vuelto imposibles. Pues la fe comienza a actuar en lo imposible.
3.
Si algo es posible, no hay gloria para Dios en aquello; después no vas a decir: Señor, gracias porque obraste. La fe solo a Dios mira, se ríe de las imposibilidades y grita: así será.
CC. Dios prueba nuestra fe en el crisol.
1.
El crisol es donde se hacen las piezas, hecho de un material que resiste mucho calor; y ese calor entra a la pieza, que al fin y al cabo es barro.
2.
La porcelana es barro sometido a alta temperatura y por más horas; cuando no llega a serlo, es cerámica. Para convertirse en porcelana el molde se reduce, pero será más brillante, más fuerte y más duro.
3.
Toda tu vida es metida en ese horno para formarte a imagen y semejanza de nuestro Señor Jesucristo: en las pruebas, en el cansancio, en la enfermedad que llegó, en el problema. Mira a ver si sale porcelana o cerámica común.
4.
Dios prueba nuestra fe en el crisol para ver si es genuina. Cuando estamos sometidos a ese crisol gritamos como niños y nos ponemos cobardes; tenemos que aguantar el calor.
5.
Alguien dijo: las dificultades son el alimento de la fe. Todo lo que uno vive lo que hace es aumentar la fe; por eso ya no lo mueve a uno aquello ni lo otro.
6.
¿Y sabes por qué estás siendo tan probado? Porque tu fe está escasa. Si uno crece en fe, no eres débil ni vulnerable, no tienes cara de víctima, sino de soldado preparado para guerrear.
IV.Por fe andamos, no por vista (2 Corintios 5:7); esta es la victoria que ha vencido al mundo, nuestra fe (1 Juan 5:4).
AA. Solamente por la fe le hemos podido ver.
1.
¿Dónde está Él? A la diestra del Padre; no lo vemos. Los discípulos podían caminar por vista y lo tuvieron presente; nosotros lo hemos creído por fe.
2.
Cuando Él caminaba entre las multitudes era por vista, y ahí estaban los milagros. Nosotros hemos tenido que ejercitar la fe para conocerlo y verlo.
3.
Y lo sentimos cuando oramos, cuando sentimos su presencia, cuando estamos envueltos con las manos en alto: sentimos que lo tocamos.
4.
No hay un amado más grande en esta tierra que nos ame, que esté con nosotros cuando dormimos y en el día del problema. Aun siendo nosotros tan torpes a veces, Él sigue a nuestro lado y no se va.
5.
Pida con fe, no dudando nada (Santiago 1:6). Acércate a Dios; no cuesta nada, porque lo que Dios está esperando es que tú te acerques.
BB. La fe vence al mundo.
1.
El sistema mundano es un monstruoso artificio, un arte de tentaciones, siempre tratando de alejarnos de Dios y de lo eterno, y de ocuparnos con lo temporal y lo carnal.
2.
La gente de este mundo está totalmente dada a las cosas del tiempo y de los sentidos; el ser humano hoy se ha vuelto víctima de las cosas pasajeras.
3.
Tenerlo todo, pero como si no lo tuviese. Cuando las cosas de este mundo ocupan el primer lugar, ya eres preso del mundo; y si eres preso del mundo, vas a actuar de acuerdo al mundo y no en fe.
4.
Solo el que verdaderamente es nacido de Dios vence al mundo, porque por la fe puede elevarse por encima de las cosas y contemplarlas en su verdadera perspectiva, la eterna.
5.
Cuando tomas la decisión de darle prioridad a lo eterno, beneficias tu vida: eres un guerrero, todo se te hace pan comido, y vas a hacer que los tuyos no se pierdan.
CC. Velad, estad firmes en la fe (1 Corintios 16:13).
1.
Deben velar, y no una semana sí y otra no; velar constantemente. No es una carga: debe ser propio en uno.
2.
Lo que usted vea que es para destruir, mueva la fe. Pero velen y cuiden; no dejen que aquel, ni el otro, ni las tonterías nos ahoguen.
3.
Portarse varonilmente es ser valiente y con fuerza. ¿Y qué es ser fuerte? Ser firme, ser resistente.
4.
Si alguien viene corriendo a darte un golpe para que caigas, y tú te quedas ahí, el que se cae es el que te dio; porque tú estás firme, sembrado completamente en la fe.
5.
El que tiene fe, nadie lo mueve; el que tiene fe, nadie lo puede destruir. Pablo sabe bien del peligro de los falsos maestros que buscan almas débiles y vulnerables. Sea de fe. Amén.

Let Not Faith Die
Mark 11:24
Introduction
As the seasons pass, and the days, the years, and the decades, it is very easy to become ordinary and common again; that is easier than being a believer who increases from glory to glory. God wants to give out, but God cannot give to anyone with a lukewarm heart, nor to anyone whose attention is on other things than the Lord. What has kept us going and what lets us stand today is faith; there is nothing else. It is easy, once we walk out the doors, to return to the old ways; what is hard is to remain in faith. That is why this message is titled: let not faith die.
I.What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24).
AA. Our existence is made up of our faith.
1.
What was Abraham but a man of faith? What was Isaac? What was Jacob? All were meek men, equipped in faith; none greater than another in spiritual rank.
2.
What is faith? The evidence of what is not seen; it is what will never be seen by nature, and there is an effort on our part.
3.
If you let faith die, the trouble is that we stop growing spiritually; for to grow and to know God directly is through faith.
4.
And it is not hard for faith to die: it is easy. You say, I still come to church, and the trouble is that faith, instead of increasing, is dwindling.
5.
For that reason things are left undone: you stop praying, you stop reading the Word, you stop singing with zeal and lifting your hands in thanksgiving.
6.
And little by little it dims, because we grow more attached to the cares of the earth; and the earth has much to be anxious about.
BB. If faith dies, defeat comes.
1.
What is defeat? A being overcome. If you miss a service and it troubles you not at all, you have been overcome; and in defeat the failures begin in everything.
2.
Today you still see hope; but I cannot promise you will have it in three years, if today you have set your heart on what leads you to the defeat of faith. When the storm comes, it tears up by the roots.
3.
When we see that we are dealing more with the world than with the saints, there is a defeat, because faith has grown scarce.
4.
In military terms, a defeated army is left in disorder and annihilation follows; and if those soldiers stand for a country, that country comes to ruin and the nation where they live is destroyed.
5.
When one lets Satan take much ground, the great defeat comes; for to give Satan ground is to have the angels withdraw, and our soldiers are angels.
6.
If the angels see that you are not stationed in a place of war, they draw back; for the Father says: I have nothing to do with the lukewarm.
II.Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
AA. Faith is not vanity nor fantasy.
1.
Perhaps you have ambitious goals; that is not faith, that is vanity. Faith is not vain nor does it put on airs.
2.
I want to study this and I pray God gives it to me: do you not see that is so as to boast afterward? That is merely a need, so that one may feel settled.
3.
Faith is the mysteries we cannot reach with a common mind; it is everything supernatural that comes from heaven for our lives.
4.
When your faith has fallen asleep, it is because you let it sleep. When one is without faith, it is because one has gone to sleep spiritually.
5.
Faith is for crossing over to what we cannot reach. Does it worry you that someone is not growing spiritually? If you are a person of faith, you pray that God be the one to act, and you wait for what you prayed.
6.
With the little God does, our faith will keep growing. For you will believe plenty; and what you believe is always negative, sunken, defeated.
BB. The endurance of faith.
1.
When we are converted we have passion and strength; and time passes, and afterward we begin again to see the vanity and what the world offers.
2.
Where did you set your eyes? Where you set your eyes you set your heart; for that reason the heart loses faith, and the whole system loses faith.
3.
Abraham could not have children; Isaac was long in having children. It was all fought through faith: believing God where there was a well to water his animals and his servants.
4.
You open the tap and there is water; everything has been arranged so conveniently that it seems unnecessary to exercise faith. But when the evil day comes, you did not exercise it and you are drowning.
5.
To those men it was common to know faith, because they needed a miracle for water. And us? This brand of water is a bit bitter, open another bottle. In what have we drowned? In trifles.
6.
Faith makes the realities we hope for as real to us as if we already possessed them; it brings the future into the present and makes the unseen seen.
III.Faith is confidence in the reliability of God, and God tests it in the crucible.
AA. The conviction that what God says is true.
1.
It is the persuasion that what God promises will be fulfilled. Let us seek Him in spirit and in truth, for this is not asking for a whim.
2.
There are convictions we know we must ask God for and must fight for; and we must show Him that we are faithful and that He is the absolute in our life.
3.
Letting Him see that we always have a sword in hand, that we go forward, that we have no complaints in our mouth, and that what weighs most on us is that all be good, holy, and pure.
4.
But today a little and tomorrow five steps back; and then what belongs to the earth becomes our ambition. Do not go on fighting so for the earth: become a soldier of the Lord Jesus Christ.
5.
If you were handling faith in your existence, you would come through the door with thanksgiving and with songs, because here God always has living words for us, for growth and for freedom.
BB. Faith begins where the possibilities end.
1.
It is not a leap into the dark: faith demands the surest evidence, and the meeting place is the Word of God. If you neither pray nor read the Word, you are in ruin.
2.
Today you are bound because there are things you thought would be possible and they have become impossible. Well, faith begins to act in the impossible.
3.
If something is possible, there is no glory for God in it; afterward you will not say: Lord, thank you because you acted. Faith looks only to God, laughs at impossibilities, and cries: it shall be so.
CC. God tests our faith in the crucible.
1.
The crucible is where the pieces are made, formed of a material that withstands great heat; and that heat enters the piece, which in the end is clay.
2.
Porcelain is clay under high temperature for more hours; when it does not reach that, it is ceramic. To become porcelain the mold shrinks, but it will be brighter, stronger, and harder.
3.
Your whole life is put into that furnace to form you into the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ: in the trials, in the weariness, in the sickness that came, in the problem. See whether porcelain comes out, or common ceramic.
4.
God tests our faith in the crucible to see whether it is genuine. When we are put in that crucible we cry like children and turn cowardly; we have to bear the heat.
5.
Someone said: difficulties are the food of faith. Everything one lives through only increases faith; that is why this or that no longer moves one.
6.
And do you know why you are being so tested? Because your faith is scarce. If one grows in faith, you are not weak nor vulnerable, you have no face of a victim, but of a soldier ready for war.
IV.For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7); this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).
AA. Only by faith have we been able to see Him.
1.
Where is He? At the right hand of the Father; we do not see Him. The disciples could walk by sight and had Him present; we have believed by faith.
2.
When He walked among the multitudes it was by sight, and the miracles were there. We have had to exercise our faith to know Him and to see Him.
3.
And we feel Him when we pray, when we sense His presence, when we are caught up with our hands lifted: we feel that we touch Him.
4.
There is no greater beloved on this earth who loves us, who is with us while we sleep and in the day of trouble. Though we are at times so dull, He stays at our side and does not leave.
5.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering (James 1:6). Draw near to God; it costs nothing, for what God is waiting for is that you draw near.
BB. Faith overcomes the world.
1.
The worldly system is a monstrous contrivance, an art of temptations, always trying to draw us away from God and from what is eternal, and to occupy us with the temporal and the carnal.
2.
The people of this world are wholly given to the things of time and of the senses; the human being today has become a victim of passing things.
3.
To have everything, but as though not having it. When the things of this world take first place, you are already a prisoner of the world; and a prisoner of the world acts according to the world, not in faith.
4.
Only the one truly born of God overcomes the world, because by faith he can rise above things and see them in their true perspective, the eternal one.
5.
When you decide to give priority to what is eternal, you benefit your life: you are a warrior, everything becomes easy, and you will keep your own from being lost.
CC. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13).
1.
We must watch, and not one week yes and one week no; watch constantly. It is not a burden: it should be natural in us.
2.
Whatever you see that is set to destroy, move faith. But watch and guard; do not let this one, nor that one, nor the trifles drown us.
3.
To quit you like men is to be brave and strong. And what is it to be strong? To be firm, to be one who resists.
4.
If someone comes running to strike you down, and you stand there, the one who falls is the one who struck; because you are firm, planted wholly in faith.
5.
He who has faith, no one moves; he who has faith, no one can destroy. Paul knows well the danger of false teachers who look for weak and vulnerable souls. Be of faith. Amen.

Al pasar los años es fácil volver a ser ordinario y común; lo difícil es mantenerse en la fe. Dios no le reparte a nadie con un corazón tibio. Estos son los puntos del domingo, para llevarlos toda la semana.
Nuestra existencia la compone nuestra fe: Abraham, Isaac y Jacob fueron hombres de fe. No es difícil que la fe muera: es fácil. Dejas de orar, de leer la Palabra, de cantar con entusiasmo, y se opaca.
Si la fe muere, viene la derrota. Si faltas a un culto y no te preocupa nada, se te ha vencido; darle lugar a Satanás aleja a los ángeles, y el Padre con los tibios no se lleva.
La fe no es vanidad ni fantasía: las metas de ambición no son fe. Cuando la fe se te ha dormido es porque tú la dejaste dormir. La fe es para traspasar aquello a lo que no llegamos.
Donde pusiste los ojos, pusiste el corazón. Abraham tuvo que creerle a Dios por un pozo de agua; tú abres la pluma y hay agua, y el día malo te agarra sin fe.

Así lo dice la Biblia. En palabras sencillas: cuando ores, cree que Dios te va a dar lo que pides, y te llegará. La pastora dijo que la porcelana y un plato común son el mismo barro; la porcelana solo aguantó más calor en el horno.
1La fe es creer lo que todavía no ves. Abraham, Isaac y Jacob no eran superhéroes: eran hombres de fe, y eso los hizo grandes delante de Dios.
2La fe se puede morir, y no se muere sola: se muere cuando dejas de orar, de leer la Biblia y de cantar con ganas. Tú la dejaste dormir.
3Abraham tenía que creerle a Dios para hallar agua. Tú abres la pluma y sale agua, y parece que la fe no hace falta. Pero el día difícil llega.
4La fe no es pedir caprichos ni cosas para presumir; Dios no es Santa Claus. La fe empieza donde tú ya no puedes: ahí es donde Dios obra.
5Dios prueba tu fe en el horno, como al barro: en la enfermedad, en el problema, en el cansancio. Duele, pero sales más fuerte, como la porcelana. Aguanta el calor.
6Si alguien corre a empujarte y tú te quedas firme, el que se cae es el que te empujó. Al que tiene fe nadie lo mueve.
