TOPIC: "His Mercy Is Greater Than the Heavens Over Those Who Fear Him" Psalm 103:17

The English preacher Spurgeon says: "To dwell with God is better than life." We can have a house, a car, money, or any kind of pleasure, and if we still had a thousand lives with all that, they would not be comparable at all to ETERNAL LIFE. But many get tired of the present life. The important detail is that no one can get tired of God. Many say: "I can't handle this life." It is that life becomes somewhat heavy, for some it is a torment, for others it is a constant problem, but the detail is that these people flee from reality. They live under depression and prefer to sleep too much, others go beyond that and commit suicide. That is why we see that a large percentage of people take pills to sleep. My brothers, if we do not get involved with God, it will be worse each day. All of the above is done by many people, to not face life, because it becomes complicated and difficult for them. Psalm 103:17 says: "But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him." That is, this is not for everyone. It also says in Psalm 108:4, "For great is your love, higher than the heavens." MERCY IS THE EXTERNAL MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S COMPASSION TOWARDS US THE MORTALS. That is, it is external, it is what I can see from God towards me. Numbers 32:23 says: "But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out." The tribe of Reuben was the oldest of the twelve tribes of Israel; he was Jacob's firstborn. Those who belonged to the tribe of Ruben were already soon to arrive at the promised land. The whole tribe says: "I want to stay here, I do not want to cross the Jordan, we want to stay because we are already tired of so much desert." We can examine ourselves for a moment and see that to us human beings what gives us security is what we want, what we choose and prefer. A security is a roof, a house of our property, but my brothers, our security cannot be in a ceiling that seems to protect us, but in Jehovah who lives in the Third Heaven! Because He indeed produces safety in my life. But we see that Reuben's people tell Moses that they want to stay there, plant their cattle, lay down the stakes of their tents, and have everything there secured. But we see that Moses is upset with the situation and tells them that God's promise comes after the Jordan River. Then Moses threatens the people and says: "If you make a promise to God you better fulfill it, because God fulfills what He promises, and if you do not comply it becomes sin and sin does not please Jehovah.". The behavior and claim of the Reubenites proves to be a way of saying that we have not been able to thank all that Jehovah has done for us. In Deuteronomy 1:33 we are shown that Jehovah was with the people and with a strong hand He brought them out of Egypt. Moses had to speak about this to the people because people suddenly forget what Jehovah has done with them and for them. We need to know, church, that we should talk about Jehovah’s mercies and share them with our children so that our children can see how great Jehovah has been with us. Moses dealt with strong people in which the tribe of Reuben refused to follow, so then Moses had to recount when Jehovah sent the cloud to cover them by day and the fire that illuminated them at night along the road where they were headed. I ask you: Can someone light your night when things go wrong? Because it is as if the Sun and its

heat and thus the circumstances of life wearied and drowned us. THAT IS WHY WE NEED JEHOVAH’S MERCY DAY AND NIGHT! But there is a problem to consider, that disobedience is a sin, and sometimes we think very badly by believing that the disobedience will not have any impact at home or in our lives and we think that everything is fine. If we see things that way, it means that we are not careful with our lives because we give a place to the flesh and the thoughts. It is, how can I say, that we do not have to do anything to correct our acts of disobedience. But we do have to, because we are a body. Disobedience is a sin and there is a big problem with that, so if we do not eliminate that from our lives the day will come when sin will reach us and it will say: Hello! I reached you! My brothers, this sin does not have my same height nor is it at all weak, let us think that we are the weak ones. Sin does not forgive and comes in pairs and becomes master. Sin and stubbornness destroy and kill and then rob you of the joy of salvation; then the pain comes and the Holy Spirit goes away. HIS MERCY IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO FEAR HIM. Therefore, mercy is better than life. We have the right to open or close the doors of evil in our house. It is the same as when we eat in our houses. We eat what we bring to our house, whether it's good or bad. Psalm 23:6 says that good and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives..., but this is for those who believe Him. Then, if you believe and fear Him, sin cannot come and say, "You belong to me." If the good is in me, it will also be in the others that surround me and especially in my home. We know that the opposite of good is evil, then we must see what will happen if we do not seek good, we will have evil as a result. Then, we must know the Scriptures better in order to live better. Remembering, my brothers, that we should stop from time to time and look to see if the good is behind us, otherwise, something is wrong. Have you asked yourself: Am I in Jehovah's mind? Has Jehovah forgotten about me? It is very important that we walk fearing God. If the mercy goes away, I lose EVERYTHING. My brothers, if Jehovah takes us out of His thoughts it is horrible, but for those who trust Jehovah sin will not reach them and for those who seek Jehovah evil cannot reach them either. We see in Psalm 23:6 a David who longed for the house of the Lord. And it is that in the house of Jehovah our lives are restored. "And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever..." AND NO ONE will take me away from there, because I met THE ONE WHO LOVES MY SOUL! AMEN.
