Submit Yourselves, To God; Resist the Devil and He Will Flee From You.

TOPIC: "Submit Yourselves, To God; Resist the Devil and He Will Flee From You." Psalm 21:11, James 4:7 When we voluntarily give up control of our life so that it is the Lord who directs us, everything changes. That is the key that opens the door of God's blessings. Let us understand that the devil is a coward with the Word of God. If you openly face him using the Word of God, he will leave you because he is a coward. He can fight against you, but he cannot knock you down, because when confronted with the Word he has to flee. What happens is that when we go against him with the Word, what we do is quote the power of God and the devil flees (Luke 4:1-13). We must fight our battles against the tempter, not with our own power but with the power of God. Psalm 21:11 "Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed." Forging machinations is to devise or carefully prepare the execution of a plan without any consideration, they do so with great wickedness. The evil intention has a virus in itself that is not found in sins of ignorance. When the wicked attack with malice their crime is greater and their punishment will be proportional to that evilness. Whoever wants evil for you wants evil against the Lord Himself; let the pursuers be careful! The Lord says so in His Word, THAT THOSE WHO DEVISED SCHEME WILL NOT PREVAIL. But, it is good to know that lack of power is what, like mud, stops the feet of those who hate the Lord Jesus. They have the MALIGNANCY of imagining bad and scrupulous things and also have the cleverness of trying to execute them; but whether they succeed or not, they will always be judged by what is in their hearts; surely their bad will shall be taken as a fact on the great day when all men will be held accountable. Ephesians 6:10-12 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." It says: strengthen yourselves in the Lord; in Him is the strength, in Him is the power; His power is what really gives us strength. And you have to get strong, not weak. May we become even stronger each day! From a child we become a warrior, a good fighter, one who fights without fear facing everything that keeps coming. We are warriors, a brave group with scars of wounds in battles, with calluses in the hands because of the great use of our sword, with a formed character, us who stand firm, straight and always ready to fight, men and women of one single piece, without fear, confident that THE POWER OF GOD LIVES IN ONE! Our enemy cannot bring us down! We have our strength in the Lord and in the power of His strength! The devil has been defeated by Jesus and you are the child of the one who has the power: Jesus! (2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.") Ephesians 6:13-18 "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with

all kinds of prayers and requests..." We have to dress brethren, with the armor that was prepared for us. Buckled with the TRUTH as you do with a belt. With JUSTICE in you like a breastplate, which is a rigid armor that covers the chest. Your feet fitted with shoes that are the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE (preparation for a better consistency and knowledge of the gospel for yourself and for you to take it to others). By learning from the gospel, you know peace. Using the shield of FAITH to extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one, dissipating by means of a firm faith all doubt. Putting in your head a protector that is the helmet of THE SALVATION, that security and conviction that you are saved and for that reason, a son with promises, that fills your head of security. Using the sword of the Spirit, which is THE WORD; we can never win the battles of God without the Book of God; we must overcome all our enemies with this knowledge of the faith that has been given to us, knowing that it is God who fights and guards us and that the devil cannot bring us down. Let us, well, make calluses on our knees, calluses in our mouths and calluses in our hands for the Great War that we take every day! We face the enemy with the strength of God, we resist the devil and clothe ourselves with ALL the armor of God recognizing that those who plot schemes against us WILL NOT PREVAIL! Amen.
