Topic: "Those Who Dwell in the Holy Mountain of God" Psalm 15: 1-5

Psalm 15: 1 "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who may dwell on your holy hill?” The holy mountain of God! This is where the angels bow their heads before Him. That's where all is purity and holiness, where everything is clean. How could man worship at all, in an unlimited manner and to the fullest? It can only be done by the one who walks in integrity, who does justice and speaks truth in his heart. (Vs 2) Let’s look at the walk, the work and the speech of the man who is accepted to dwell in His tabernacle, in His holy mountain. The way a person walks is more important than what he speaks. In speaking there is deceit but the way he walks tells us where he is really headed. The one who walks with integrity, who lives completely in wellness, in righteousness and sincerity is just. That person does justice; he always seeks equity, fairness, honesty and equality. Vs. 2 "He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart." His faith is shown thru good deeds, the faith of a just is not a dead faith. We can make a comparison of the fair with a beehive. Let’s say that the House of God is like a hive of laborer bees, workers. The House of God is not a nest of bees called drones, well they are bees that do not produce honey and lacks gable. The saints of God are not like them, but they are like the workers who work producing sweet honey, that is how the righteous produce fruitful and righteous deeds. When the heart of a man is sound in his conversion, then life will be beautiful in his profession, in what he professes. That sound man in his conversion to the Lord is the one who does justice. A righteous does righteous deeds because within him there is and governs justice. Let us not be fooled when we see an unjust doing a righteous deed; that good deed cannot make him just, such person is still an unjust because within him there is injustice that governs him. Jacob's ladder had steps in which no one stood still, but all the angels went up and down on it. (Genesis 28:12) You climb, climb to the extreme of the stairs in the same way the angels of God do; go up until you reach Heaven and there you will hear One who says: "... My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working." (John 5:17) God works (makes deeds), so He continuously does justice; it’s not that He only speaks of justice or thinks or hears about it, but rather He does it. For it is not the hearers of the law that are justified, but THE WORKERS of the law. The only deed we can expect to be considered and taken into account is THE WORK OF JUSTICE. “Who speaks the truth from his heart” (Vs 2) "And has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman.” (Vs. 3) We must have the conviction and feeling to hate the evil in slander; the Lord increased our hatred toward evil and toward the reproaches against others. There will never be a mortified language where there is a heart without mortifying! The fair is the one who does not slander with his tongue or does evil to his fellowman neighbor or does any affront to his neighbor. All slanderers are the bellows (instrument to blow to collect air and throw in a certain direction) of the devil to increase disputes,

they are unjust and wicked men. Hence the saying: "A gossiper leads the devil in his tongue and those who listen to him, the devil in their ear." We say about the drunk: "Throw out this man!", but it is debatable whether his misbehavior will cause us so much damage as the insinuating cartoon of the gossiper. "Call the police!" we say when we see a thief making mischief; but shouldn’t we feel the same indignation when we hear a gossiper dedicated to his labor? "Rabid dog, Rabid dog!" is the terrible uproar cry that causes great commotion, but there are not many dogs that bite with such fury as those who lead the gossip. "Fire, fire" is another cry that alarms us, but the tongue of the gossiper is burning in the fires of hell and those who engage in gossip had better change, because they will find that there is fire in hell for their rampant tongues. The slanderous tongue comes from the evil one. (Proverbs 14:32 “When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down…"). The tongue of the wicked secretly kills and injures more than poison could! How can I care about seeing a man that is touched to hear a sermon if he cheats and lies when he arrives at his home! Psalms 15: 4 "Who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord. Who keeps his oath even when it hurts…” God does not hate anyone, but there is nothing else I can hate more in the world than sin. A NO for the false that passes as if he were righteous. Psalm 15: 5 "Who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken" The truthful just does not give his money to usury (the excess of the legal interest). He will never seek profit above what is legal (Leviticus 25: 35-37). The righteous receives the poor sympathetically and compassionately. Matthew 7:12 is the Golden Rule; it is the rule of fairness. "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…” He who does so will never be shaken. Those who honestly and sincerely do these things will stand firm in the trial. One is not just only for being the great wise, nor the great preacher, or the laborious teacher, nor a gifted brother, nor he who talks incessantly. When wearing the robe of Christ and not serving in spirit and in truth mocks the Master! The acceptance of Christ in our profession of faith and to deny the gait in our daily life is like the case of Judas; He is betrayed with a kiss of homage; it is doing the same that the rude Roman soldiers did who bowed the knee before Him and then struck Him on His sacred head with the "scepter" of a stick. It is to be a fake like Pilate who commanded to write over the Lord's head "King of the Jews", but at the same time crowned with thorns and sent Him to be crucified. It is to insult Him giving Him alleged honors. Let's be truly just, let us not be false like those who perish in their falsehood. To speak of the precepts of the Lord and live in obedience fulfilling them is proper of the just, who enter and remain in the church honoring their God; the false who pretend to be fair, after all, they have no place in it.
