Let Me Know Your Ways

TOPIC: "Let Me Know Your Ways" Psalm 18:30

Psalm says: “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.” The way of the God of David is PERFECT. He is the Almighty who creates, sustains, provides and rules throughout the Earth. Our God creates; He produces new things; He is the one who makes things exist for the first time. Who holds creation is God; it is he who does not allow things to fall or tilt; He endures and conserves it in place. The God of David foresees; He is the one who knows the future before it happens. God rules; the Powerful King and Lord is the one who governs and runs the world. Are there others who can do it? Who else but Him who is PERFECT in each of His magnificent attributes! His quality! His essence is perfect and glorious! Perfect in each act! The God who created the heavens and the earth is worthy of Glory, He deserves all praise and honor! God is King of Kings! He is the Creator! He is the one who sustains! He is the one who sees before anyone else! And He is the ruler! We must know and acknowledge Him! WE SHOULD KNOW AND ACKNOWLEDGE HIS WAYS! Isaiah 55: 8, 9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, say the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” God's ways are not like men. If we look down at the Earth, we will not understand the ways of God, but if we look up, TO THE HEAVENS, we will find there God's thoughts and we will learn and know what we need from His ways. This way we will know HIS PURPOSES AND HIS PERFORMANCES. First of all let us leave behind our evil, selfish, hypocritical and misleading thoughts for only then we can understand and know His ways. God himself tells us that his thoughts and ways are at an immense distance from us. But, when we were called, it was for us to leave our bad and old thoughts and align ourselves with THOSE OF GOD! God says: "My thoughts and my ways are not like yours." It happens that our thoughts are directed to the things below; God’s are well above, so much that Heaven is over the earth. We must walk like Him. Our eyes must be set on the things above. (Colossians 3: 1, 2) "If then you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” It is necessary for us to know His ways. (Hosea 14: 9) "Who is wise to understand this and prudent to know? For the ways of the Lord they are right and the just walk in them; but the rebellious stumble in them.” Understand that God's ways are a stumbling block to sinners. God's ways ARE STRAIGHT and only the righteous walk in them but the rebels will fall in them. I have seen many rebels fall. Whoever knows God intimately acts accordingly, follows God, walks in the same path OF JUSTICE AND EQUITY. Contrarily, the offenders stumble there; they stumble in the ways that God has placed before His people to walk in them. So, we can see that the same path in one case leads to life and in another to death! Hence, those who walk uprightly in the ways of God are

not only fair but also wise and prudent; in change, the offenders are wicked, foolish and unwise, because their sins bring upon themselves their own ruin; they will stumble and fall. God's ways are eternal. (Habakkuk 3: 6 "He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The ancient hills collapsed. His ways are eternal..."). His paths are always the same; that is how God always work. Every time they walk the hills they humble themselves before Him! He is eternal and His ways are inscrutable (Romans 11:33). It is impossible to trace the footprints God's feet leave behind throughout history. We cannot follow the footsteps of God in His providence, but, GIVE THANKS TO GOD BECAUSE WE CAN CLOSELY FOLLOW THE FOOTSTEPS OF HIS SON IN HIS GRACE! (1 Peter 2: 21-23) "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE, THAT YE SHOULD FOLLOW HIS STEPS..." He did not sin, nor was deception found in His mouth. He was cursed and He did not respond with curse. When He suffered He threatened not, but committed Himself to the one who judges justly. It is that His ways are just and true. Let us walk as He walked. (Revelation 15: 3 "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty, JUST AND TRUE ARE THY WAYS, thou King of saints.") There is no deceit in Him. This song glorifies the power, justice and righteousness of God's ways and His incomparable holiness. There, in the same line of knowledge and action is that we, as disciples, should be walking. We know the walk of the Lord, and we apply it to our daily lives! We say, "Let me know your walk TO FOREVER LIVE IT!" Amen.
