TOPIC: "He who does everything in all" Psalm 24: 1-10

This wonderful Lord is the one who has done a great and unique deed in each man that He has chosen. Our Lord is Strong and Mighty, and has fought and continues to fight for all (Psalm 24: 8 "Who is this King of glory the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle?"). For example, we see how the Lord worked powerfully in Moses and Paul, but differently and distinctly in each one of them. Moses was called, chosen by God, just as Paul. But Paul did not do the same things as Moses. The apostle did not open the sea. Moses was not called upon to do what Paul did. Paul won many souls through the gospel. It is the living God who works differently, with His power and glory, in each one. God works in all of us likewise. God fights on our behalf as CHRIST. He has had to fight for everything related to man, and in the history of man. Jesus incarnated as man for our sake. He is the perfect man; the representative of all men. Christ was the one who responded to complying with the complete and perfect character set for man on earth. Therefore, for His achievement and by His own right ascended the Holy Mount Zion. Our Lord Jesus Christ was able to ascend (climb to higher ground) to the mountain of the Lord because His hands were clean, and His heart was pure. And if by faith we are transformed into His image, we too will be there in the heights as He. Psalm 24: 7 "Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors that the King of glory may come in.” In the story of the gospel we see that Christ had three ways of dwelling among men. The first form of the Lord dwelling in someone: some received Him in their home, but not in the heart, as Simon the Pharisee (Luke 7:44), who did not give the Lord Jesus a greeting with a kiss, nor water to wash His feet. The second form of Jesus dwelling in someone: the faithful centurion received Him in the heart, but not in his home (Matthew 8: 8). And the third way of Christ dwelling in men: those who received the Lord in their homes and in their hearts as Lazarus, Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38) did. How do you receive the Lord? Does He dwell in your heart? Have you invited Him to your home? Many men have the doors of their heart tightly closed and do not want to open it up to God. These men are profoundly asleep, and do not hear God knocking at their door (Revelation 3:20). The Lord’s knock at every door resonates strongly. This is why David also writes in Psalms about the insistent knock of God at the gates: “Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors." Why is the Lord insistent? What is the rush? So asks the sinner. What's the rush? It is that there is the King, at your door! And this is no ordinary king; it’s a glorious King who will honor you if you open quickly! Can you open up to receive Him in your heart! This way He will reside in your "home" to live with you! But a cold, indifferent and stubborn soul, nevertheless, does not open; but remains standing, hesitant, as if it were an enemy instead of a friend who was there. And dares ask: Who is the King of glory? Psalm 24: 8 "Who is this King of glory? The Lord STRONG AND MIGHTY, the Lord mighty in battle”. Who? The answer is: It is the Lord mighty in battle, the Lord of Hosts; that who if you do not open quickly and gratefully, can tear your house down over your head! He is the Lord of Hosts, the King who has a powerful army that is always at His service, and willing to His mandates. Therefore, we should know who He is, to have Him as a friend. "Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up..." Those who want to have God as a friend and not an enemy, open immediately. We choose: either that powerful God fights for us or against us. We should be saying hastily: "Lord, take the door of my heart off its hinges, so you can come and live here!" Do you know when the lock is damaged, and the key cannot turn to open the door? Then break it down Lord, and come in! "Come O mighty God and take these hard iron gates, and open up a path with your love and power!" "Come Lord; be welcomed inside of me; all that I have is at your service!” "Oh my Lord, make my soul worthy of receiving you!" The Lord has given us the gift of the Spirit (the Holy Spirit is a jewel or warranty), and we bring to heaven the deposit of our flesh as insurance of compliance with His promises of salvation and eternal life.

Christ has gone to heaven as a winner. He did it triumphantly tying sin, Satan, death, hell and all His enemies to the wheels of His chariot. Not only did He overcome His enemies for Himself, but for all of His family, those whom He has made "MORE THAN CONQUERORS." (Romans 8:37) Why do you have to live as if you’ve been defeated? We will triumph, just as He has overcome. He has victoriously gone to heaven, and we will follow in His triumph. Why should we feel defeated? If He has made us MORE THAN CONQUERORS! Jesus, Ark of our Salvation, ark that saved the world from destruction after floating in a "deluge of blood", and now rests at the top of the mountain! Jesus, innocent as Joseph, whose virtue was oppressed by the synagogue of the Pharisees, has left the jail to receive a crown! This invincible Samson has towed the gates of hell, and went on to win the everlasting hills! This victorious Joshua has crossed the Jordan with the Ark of the Covenant, and taken possession of the land of the living! This Sun of Justice has gone ten degrees forth, and has returned to its starting point! The one who was a worm at His birth, a lamb in His passion, and a lion in His resurrection, now ascends to the heavens like an eagle, and encourages us to keep going! HE IS THE ONE DOING EVERYTHING IN ALL! Amen.
