Topic: “The Spirit Reveals To Us, It Scrutinizes everything” I Corinthians 2:10-14 The Spirit of God, who is one of the members of the Deity, is infinite in wisdom and understands all God’s truths and is able to impart by means of revelation to those who love God and serve Him faithfully. 1 Corinthians 2:7 “No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began”. The secrets of the revelation of the Holy Spirit are veiled (covered) for the persons who are not willing to seek Good in the spirit and in truth. They cannot discern the Word of God and His truth when they read or hear from the mouth of those who teach and preach to them. It is not because the men and women of God do not want to communicate that “wisdom of God in mystery” but rather because those who listen do not have the will or the power to comprehend those teachings, truth and revelations. Therefore, only those who are humble before God, who surrender to His will and are hungry and with thirst of justice, are the ones who are taught from the Spirit and acknowledge in their spirit and minds these secrets. BECAUSE THE SPIRIT SCRUTINIZES EVERYTHING! 1 Corinthians 2:10 “But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God”. Paul says “To us”, and he refers to those of us who have decided to be experimented in the fullness of the Christian life. WE CAN BE TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT! Men who are intelligent perhaps can understand the outline of the doctrines, but without the revelations of the Holy Spirit for them all that will continue to be a mere outline, a skeleton; perhaps correct but without life in them, those who receive revelation of His Word from the Spirit of God receive the life and the power from the Highest (above). It’s that the Holy Spirit scrutinizes everything, then it works in us and with our spirit. Glory to God! The Old Testament recreates God the Father FOR Us. The Gospel shows us God the Son WITH US. The Events and the Epistles reveals to us the great truths and His power. “The profound of God”, refers to the contact of His divine nature, His attributes and advices. The Holy Spirit takes pleasure in exploring the infinite depths of His own divine mind to reveal to us according to our capacity to understand. This proves to us the personality and divinity of the Holy Spirit. The divinity cannot be separated from the Spirit of God, just as humanity cannot be separated from the spirit of men. I Corinthians 2:11 “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. No one knew God’s matters, nor angel nor man. The Holy Spirit Himself has made us aware of His proper divinity, the things of God. Let us see the following to better understand: What do you know about the person next to you? I’m sorry to tell you that you do not know a great deal even if you believe to know the person well. In reality you only know what the person wants you to know! Nothing else. Who can comprehend completely the thoughts of others? No one, only we know ourselves and we allow others to see what and how much we want. That is how it is similar to God. The only one who can understand God is the same Spirit of God who is able to reach you and let you know everything He wants. THIS PROVES THE IMPOSSIBILITY TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD’S MATTERS EXCEPT BY THE INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD HIMSELF. The Holy Spirit is the only one who knows. The grand and marvelous is that God wants to reveal His things to us! I Corinthians 2:12 “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.” We have not received the spirit of this world. The worldly spirit is the evil “spirit” that know works in the children of disobedience (Ephesians2:2). The flow of this world is influenced by the prince of the authority of the air (Satan). This worldly spirit is natural, it is not regenerated and is working at large in unconverted men. But, many who are converted return to this spirit who is governed by the powers in the air and that is why they fall in great disobedience with God. Careful! “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God”. It comes on behalf of God. We have received it as a gift, His own Spirit together with our spirit which is in us. It was a gift in the death of our beloved Jesus. “That we may understand what God has freely given us”. He has granted us the actual knowledge that we are experiencing of His profound mysteries full of wisdom, among them our future possessions of the good things God has prepared for those who love Him. How many good things God has prepared for you by means of the Spirit! Everything will be revealed to your spirit. The world has evilness, disobediences and great wickedness, but you who have the Holy Spirit should know how much God has granted you. The complete union with the Holy Spirit is what needs to be sought and maintained. Continued…
