TOPIC:”How Will He Not Do It?” Romans 8:28-33 In 2 Kings 6:17 we read when the prophet Elisha prayed to God so that his servant could see what God was doing for them, and said: "I pray thee, O Lord, open his eyes so he may see." Then, Elisha's servant saw the army of the Lord surrounding them to protect them from their enemies. With this we can see that for us to see God and His wonders He will have to open our natural eyes. But, the first thing we need to do is to ask God to let us see His move in His spiritual and supernatural kingdom. We should ask to have our eyes opened and try not to live full of fears, insecurities and tribulations. Elisha’s advantage was that he knew God directly, his servant didn’t. It wasn’t difficult for him at all to believe God; he was able to trust, to rest and do all the things that God sent him to do. But, God cannot do the same with those who do not believe. God does in those who believe, who know that He is powerful, not only at a general level but also in the personal things. God does in those who know that God is powerful in their personal life, in the life of someone like Elisha or his servant, in your life and in mine. The hill around Elisha was full of riders on horseback and chariots of fire! They were warrior angels on behalf of God! Who can harm those whom God calls to do His work? When God calls he takes care and protects. Everything He does is for our well-being because He is one who will always look good. Romans 8:28 God is bringing everything together for the good of those who love Him. But, my brother, there is a requirement for God to always cooperate so that everything will go well, and that is: to be capable of loving Him! Do you love Him? It so happens that in those times of Elisha the people feared Jehovah, and at the same time they honored other gods. So did many of the kings of Israel and most of the people. Also today, some say they have the Lord and serve other gods, serving the world of sin. This way they do not fear Jehovah, or keep His statutes, or ordinances. Everything is different with those who love the Lord, although they sometimes go through hard and difficult situations. When Christians suffer great pain, we ask: "What good can come out of this?" Well, let us focus on these verses 28 and 29 that made it very clear, that whatever God allows to happen in our lives, He is ready to mold us, to enable us and make us conformed to the image of His Son. When we open our eyes as God opened the eyes of the servant of Elisha, then the questions that have been in our prayers remain eliminated. Let us understand that your life and mine are not controlled by impersonal forces such as a coincidence, but by forces and purposes of God. God knows you beforehand, since the past eternity. He wants to form you to the image of His Son. God wants you to have a clear knowledge of Him, so if you're a son you will never be frustrated. We shall be morally like Him, free from sin and we will possess a glorified body like His! Not all who sit in the church respond to the gospel. Everyone is called, but not everyone responds. To those who responded, those He justified; they are given a position absolutely righteous before God. Romans 8:30 They are clothed with the righteousness of God through the merits of Christ and are therefore suitable for the presence of the Lord. We are so sure of our glorified position as if we’ve already received it. That is the way our eternal assurance is. This way God will take care of you, brother, open your eyes! If God is for us, who can be against us? God has designated us for Himself. No one can stand against with any success. Romans 8:33 He who wants your fall will not have any success. If omnipotence is working in our favor no inferior power can defeat His program. No king could destroy Elisha because God had a program with him. No army could defeat him. He who did not spare not his own Son! Romans 8:32 No matter how much we read this or listen to it, we will never be able to give it the worship deserved for such great delivery for our lives. He has given us the greatest thing that God has, His Son! God could have retained for Him the greatest treasure of His heart.

When the world needed for their sins a substitute without sin, someone who would take their sins, He gave his Son to die of shame and humiliation on our behalf. God has given us the greatest gift. Could there be any gift smaller that He wouldn’t give us? If He has gone thru such extremes to ensure our salvation, will He let us go? Never! How will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Vs. The language of faith says: How will He not do it? Incredulity says: How will He do it? The power belongs to the one who called you, so He will work in what is unknown to you and known to Him. Is there anything to fear? Nothing! We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! Amen.
