I Will Prepare The Way For What God Wants

Theme: “I Will Prepare The Way For What God Wants” Isaiah 40:3 The Messiah could not arrive if John the Baptist had not prepared the way. Isaiah’s prophecy in reference to our Lord Jesus Christ was fulfilled. The way is prepared so that when the right time comes it may be fulfilled. There is an order to prepare things for what is coming and anyone who violates this order is a rebel. John prepared the way preaching repentance; this word began with John for that generation. It was necessary for the people of Israel to acknowledge repentance before Jesus became manifested. John appeared to be a little crazy because of the way he dressed and what he ate, but the power of God supported him. In this fragility John allowed others to see who was God in him. And us, what do we have to prepare? We came to fulfill the law; we prepare what is necessary for what God has for our lives. If John hadn’t prepared the way, there would be no Messiah. What does God want us for? Have we complied with this? Has it been accomplished? That voice that was crying out in the desert was to prepare the way for Jesus. John fulfilled his ministry and did not have a microphone, radio or television, because Jehovah was his provider. The devil can come against us, but we must watch and fight this battle, tomorrow will come and we must be standing and prepared. If the Messiah hadn’t arrived, who was going to take away our pain and our oppression? It was John’s duty to prepare the way for the powerful Messiah, and no one else. Hosea 10:12 If we want to retrieve in harvest time, which is when the wheat is gathered, then we need to sow. But if that land is not prepared there won’t be anything to gather and our life is that land. The ground has to be prepared to sow. We don’t do anything supernatural because it is God who does. Our capacity is limited, that is why there has to be a strong move of angels upon us. If we are people who always do what is expected, then the angels will move, there will be a supernatural administering. We cannot accomplish anything unless we prepare the land first. In a hurry it is impossible. In order to gather, first we have to prepare the land. We want well-being for our loved ones, but the only way to obtain this is by preparing the land. The fallow land is the land that is plowed and is given about one year without farming/cultivating or fertilizing so it may rest and air out. If the land is not prepared, it will not give anything with quality. How can we take away the pain and oppression in people if the church does not get prepared? That nation of Israel relied more on their cars and horses and not on God. Sometimes we pretend to obtain the worldly things for our own before loving God. We give our loved ones according to how we have prepared for God. That town did not prepare themselves for God and did not teach their children to fear God. For that reason, the enemy army of Babylon took them as prisoners, in captivity. What do we give others? How do we prepare ourselves? If we don’t prepare ourselves, even to worship, then how about what has been entrusted to us to do? If we don’t prepare our lives, our land, what will happen to us? If we trust our cars, horses and armies, and not God, that is what we will gather and give our own, from this world. To retrieve and to love it is necessary to live in justice. Our acts and how we move say what we are, that is why we have to be careful with what surrounds us. For a good sow we have to live plowing constantly. The land that we don’t plow gets hard, then, all of a sudden people will arrive with bad intentions to harm us. We must open our eyes and see the things clearly and precisely. We put our deposit in what we have entrusted. Careful! John the Baptist fulfilled his duty preparing the way for Jesus. When we teach our loved ones with honesty and love, that will be our sowing and at the same point we will gather, because we prepared for them a path. We should live constantly preparing the way for what God chose us for. How have we prepared? In our body, in what we possess, at work, and for the good things we want? There are paths that are headed directly to failure because we have not prepared ourselves in the spiritual matters. Let us be capable in seeing things as they are. It is necessary that when the earth is abandoned, surrendered to the emptiness and materialism, to be labeled as follows: “It is the time to seek Jehovah until He comes and teaches us justice!” Let us sow for our own in justice and in love. What reason do we have not to do this? Is it because we want to leave or abandon God? Let us work in justice, let us say things as they are. Let us prepare the land and place the sign that says that it is time to seek Jehovah. Many have placed so much trust in their jobs, in their studies and the worldly things that they have abandoned God. They seek so little of God and in change they prepare their body with great care for everything that pleases them. God is easily abandoned and if God is not our support the future failure will be imminent. Let us seek from the heart so when Jehovah sees us, He may see the label that says that it is time to seek Him. Only Jehovah can support us in difficult times. For the men and women who get prepared there will be plenty of justice on God’s behalf. The fruits cannot be seen if the land is not

plowed. When the Lord is ready to gather the fruits, may He find many and good fruits, because if He doesn’t it will be sad. Mathew 7:19 If we don’t get rid of those bad habits that are very profound to destroy the arrogance, there will be no fruits. Let us be brave and stop loving our worldly possessions. There is so much determination to outstand and we don’t plow our land to serve! There is no knowledge of the danger that comes along when we don’t plow and prepare ourselves! If we feel that there is too much expected of us and all we have is our clamor, it is because that is what we sowed and that is the fruit that we will gather. Let us not seek the glory of this century or the vanity or take them with us so that everyone can receive it. Let us plow and prepare our life as God has wanted and there will be fruits in abundance. Fruits cannot be expected from Christianity if Christian discipline is not applied. We should have more discipline than anyone in fasting, praying and lecture of the bible. But, unfortunately, there are habits so profound in some that destroy any type of discipline. Sometimes there is prayer only when there are problems. And since Jehovah is so good that He answers and resolves the problem, after that difficult day there is no more prayer. Fasting brings us closer to God because we forget about ourselves and everything that drives us away from God. But, some Christians are accustomed to an idle lifestyle and cannot do justice. If our lives are not deeply reformed, our fruits will speak and not our mouth. Our fruits and acts finally say what there are where no one can see, where we hide so many things. Let us sow what is necessary to sow. Let us plow very deep to achieve what is ours, let’s not stay behind. There are evil things that need to come out of us, otherwise, we could not sow in purity. If we don’t, although we congregate for the rest of our lives, we will not be able to step forward to a new life. Some want to sow where there are so many hawthorns! They need to be pulled out and plow the land. That is why some cannot worship, because in praise we worship in the spirit and in truth. One cannot worship if there is not life in the spirit. Let us face our battles, let us do what it is necessary to be done: we must cleanse ourselves if there are hawthorns and plow our land, prepare the way for what God wants, and sow in justice and in love. We will see that the fruits and abundant blessings for His people will come from God. Amen.
