Topic: “May I be a good ground where God plants a seed of mustard” Mathew 13: 31, 32 Jesus planted the church on earth many years ago. Therefore, we have a great history. The history of the church can be compared with a grain of mustard, which begins very small when you plant it, but then it grows until it becomes a tree. This is how the Church of the Lord has grown throughout the years. The devil has tried to destroy the church, but he has not been able to. The church belongs to the Lord. God’s interest is to put His fire in someone who is willing to take the message, someone who is willing to love until death and to love others as He loves Himself. God is looking for a good ground where He can plant a good seed of mustard. This grain of mustard has never stopped working. A grain of mustard has arrived from Heaven to our lives like a grain of mustard that becomes big as a leafy tree. There are things that we cannot understand today, but tomorrow we will be able to understand them. The Kingdom of Heaven had a very humble beginning, but no one knows where and how it will end. The gospel came from the mouth of the humblest fishermen. Nowadays it has been taught that the gospel came from the wisest and this is not true. Everything begins from the smallest. A church rises from something small and with great effort, winning the souls that are lost and that belong to us. The church is established according to Heaven’s style and not anyone’s style here on earth. The Kingdom is a small seed that has been sowed and it is our responsibility as the church to make it grow. The Kingdom of Heaven is not for us to become arrogant. We forget that raising and developing the church comes from our Lord Jesus Christ who has established it. The Kingdom of Heaven has entered our lives and no one can stop it. It doesn't stop existing because somebody leaves. Here is where the danger comes for those who hesitate and decline in the faith. The Kingdom has continued growing and it will always continue to grow. Therefore, the Kingdom of God in our lives is sacred and for this reason we must take care of it. The work of the Kingdom began with Jesus in Nazareth. God brought it because He loved us. He is who gives everything to the church; He blesses it, is manifested in the altar, heals, delivers, and breaks the chains. In spite of the small size of the grain of mustard, after all, it is a seed that sprouts and grows as it is proper. Likewise, the gospel is like a small and insignificant seed that has sprouted to give life, although they killed the one that brought it. But Jesus Christ resurrected and He is interceding before the Father for us, glory to Him. The one who has always been the beginning and seed of this gospel should be preserved in our lives and in the Kingdom. The gospel doesn't require of oratorical boast and it can still be understood by those who don't have knowledge of letters. In the eyes of the men of this world the gospel seems insignificant, worthless, but as the mustard that has a spicy and strong flavor, it produces an impact to cover our deepest needs. The gospel of Jesus Christ has produced a well-being in everything. Our personal thirst can only be quenched by the Gospel and nothing else. Nothing can fill our lives as this Kingdom can. The mustard has grown; it has been developed and has become even more than a

vegetable. It is a growth out of the normal. The normal plant of the mustard is like a heath, not like a tree. We cannot be trees but heaths, but the power of this Kingdom is to establish us like a tree. The seed must always be seen as the humble beginning of the Kingdom. This tree of the Kingdom grew and now, apparently everyone is a Christian. As the plant grew and now there is height in the tree, the birds can deposit in its branches and leave nests. When the mustard was a heath, it could not carry in its branches a nest because they were still weak. The Kingdom has grown so much that it has ended up reaching vast proportions. But regrettably the Kingdom which is the mustard tree, has been filled with bad birds. Those birds are the infidels and even the "wise" Christians of today, and we know that the gospel is for those who are simple. All those who come to Christ have to die to their selves, so that the seed of the Kingdom will grow in their life. The government is one of those who now want to help the church, but that is not good for the Kingdom. The one who has established the Kingdom is the one that will bless it. As the church we must open our eyes wide. Our lives have to be perfected in this Kingdom. We have to rise in sanctity, purity and seek God. The Kingdom has ended up being partly corrupted and has become one where Satan has made his nest. It is our responsibility to take care of this Kingdom with strength. What happens is that there are many Christians who have little interest in the Kingdom. A growth has come that is not healthy and not good for the Kingdom, because many of the enemies of God have put their nests in the branches of the tree of the Kingdom and are seeking the shade and its fruits for their own profit. Beloved, we must open our eyes; we are a small flock surrounded by wolves. We must be careful not to participate of the charm of the wolf, because it brings its own malice with him. Let us take care of the Kingdom, what Christ commended to us and warned us. Let us be vigilant and never be unaware of this truth. Amen.
