Topic: “I will grow in the fullness of Christ and comply with my work in His service” Ephesians 4:12 - 16 The objective of the Church is that each member will be able to grow and that they may reach a measure according to the fullness of Christ. It is to produce men and women to be a perfect reflection of Christ. We have always thought that the church is only a place where we congregate and where our problems are solved. But it is more than that, in the church we find men and women who are formed as Christ. We are beings in which Christ lives. It’s a feeling that Christ takes us completely and possesses us. We are creatures in which Christ has born again, for this reason He paid a high price. When Christ is in our lives we should never stop believing, but rather we should seek for that fullness. That fullness, wholeness and integrity that we can obtain of Christ becomes the total maturity and it develops the power that we need. We have matured because Christ has an intimate relationship with us and we have it with Him. We must decrease so that Christ may grow in us. There is nothing better than to have Christ live in us because there is peace and rest that doesn’t come from anywhere else. The purpose is to perfect the saints for the ministry for the service and the work. It is important for us to have perfection for the work of the ministry. It is in the ministry where there is a lot of sacrifice. It is necessary to build in Christ's body; there is a lot of work to do. The gifts will equip the saints. The Lord has prepared us, for this reason there is a lot of work to do. The saints are for the service. God has called us for the service and this is work, sacrifice for the sake of love. Jesus made a maximum sacrifice and He is still at the right hand of the Father interceding for us to equip the church in the ministry, in the service, according to the needs that will emerge in each moment. The problem is that we only seek the greatness of a ministry. This must never be that way. According with the mercy with which we work, that same mercy will be given to us. The service is silent and it is done because one loves. Jesus always lived working with a lot of love and silence. Ministry is simply a service. The whole body has to work. The gifts are distributed by God, they are given by Him. What we have has been given to us by God. Jesus came to the earth, He completed, He died, He took captive the captivity; He filled everything for us. We cannot make use of what we have; the gifts are paid by Christ. For this reason, we don't have voice or vote in what God gave us. Those who are filled of Christ are the only ones that can give to others. God puts each one of us in a certain place for His service. We need to be persons who love a lot, that are willing to do well to others, that we enjoy working and serving others. Gifts are given to perfect, to equip and this way to build Christ's body. Each Christian should give a service full time for God. We all are useful for the ministry and the service of the body of Christ. Our measure must be to the measure of the stature of Christ’s entirety. We have to grow to the measure of Christ. The church must be full with Christ's knowledge with the unit of faith to reach a full agreement. When we don't agree, we cannot be functional nor can we serve the person who has the need in that moment. When we are united it is because we know what Jesus has established for us completely. We don't think as we please, but as Jesus does, then we will be good servants.

Jesus was never limited, but rather He did what He had to do. Jesus sacrificed completely. When the service is in us, we don't need gifts like fire falling from the sky, but compassion and love. We need the measure of the stature of that fullness, that entirety so that we are made according to Him. Who do we want to look like? Let us be made according to Christ. If we know the fullness, the entirety and how Christ was, we will be according to Him. He was not seeking for any glory, because He loved. Most people are not interested in being like Christ. But we yearn to and we need it. We must seek for Christ's complete development in us, the execution of the plan of God for our growth. The sacrifice and work there were in Christ are what we should imitate. Jesus was presented to the earth as the servant of all. He was always giving. When we have decided to grow, we stop being like children, only then we will start to achieve that growth, that stature. Those believers who are not involved in an aggressive service for Christ will ever leave the condition of spiritual children. An adult acts completely and maintains his sobriety. When one doesn't work in the ministry which we have been given, it is understood that the child has not left us. When we lack of the development for the service it is because we lack of love. Those who serve are never waiting for others to love them, he simply loves. We have not reached more because we lack of love to work. Because of instability doctrine winds come, because of the lack of knowledge, love and sacrifice. For such a reason, we have not become those people that the Lord wants us to be. Those who are immature are vulnerable before these false impostors who are very professional. Then, one can fall in false teachings because the person has not grown because of the lack of love to serve. Then, they start to jump from one church to another and become nomadic. If we would grow to the measure of Christ there wouldn’t be so much deceit. We need a church, a body with the knowledge of Christ so that when a deceiver comes, a brave one will guide him to the truth. The truth is an element where we should always move and grow. We must be filled with love for everything. As the gifts equip us, we are devoted to an active service. Christ is the goal and the objective of our growth, so that in each area we will become more like Him. Christ is the head that carries out His purposes in the church. We should have very present in our minds that the joints are helped mutually to move the whole body. Each one is designed in its own place and function; perfectly united. When we love, we do things calmly and peacefully. When we begin to divide ourselves, it is because we don’t have unity and we are no longer a living organism. United to each other by the joints we are helped mutually. We must help one another. It is necessary for the humblest believer to love, sacrifice and work hard, because when each believer fulfills his work, Christ's body, the church will grow united and in harmony for the necessary edification in love. Let us grow to the measure of the fullness in Christ and let us do our work serving. Amen.
