Topic: “Never Be Lacking in Zeal, But Keep Your Spiritual Fervor, Serving The Lord” Romans 12:11 Who maintains our life revived? It certainly is not because of our strength. If each one of us did what our flesh desired, surely we would all go to Hell. But we have come to know the one who has cleansed our lives. How? With blood! Therefore, this flesh cannot dominate us. But, the lack of prayer will shut out the spirit in us. When we grow in prayer, every positive fruit in us will also grow. Prayer is not measured by the length of time that has elapsed since we gave our lives to the Lord, but by the time we are willing to spend seeking the Lord. When our prayer is genuine, there is a transformation in our lives. If prayer does not flow in us, the search ends. And what happens is what the Bible says, instead of one demon dwelling in your life, seven more come to dwell. And when we begin to lose all this, all we can do is survive; there is no fire, or joy, and little by little sin arrives and destroys everything that had been edified. If we do not take advantage of the opportunities that God has given us, time will go by and we have taken our lives for granted. The Holy Spirit revives your spirit. You are soul, body and spirit; that is why we are either carnal or sentimental. Those who have not allowed the Holy Spirit to dwell will not be able to arise full of that presence and discern the things of the Spirit. Who proves one guilty of sin? The Holy Spirit, He guides us to Christ. We cannot live without it. The third person of the Trinity is the one who makes us obedient to comply. We have decided to move God, to seek Him and provoke Him to fulfill our lives. That is why it is required for a man or woman of God to be diligent. When you came to the Lord, you were completely dead, in complete ruin. And when you heard the message, you felt a portrait of yourself, because the situation that was being exposed in the sermon was the same situation you were going thru. And you thought that someone had spoken, but it was the Holy Spirit, the one who reveals. We don’t arrive at church and immediately become perfect. But what is demanded from us to achieve the spiritual goals is to be diligent and careful. Generally, we like to use slippers because we like to be comfortable. But it is more convenient to use shoes in order to conduct the fulfillment of our work, in the event we have to work at a faster pace. We have to walk the path of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ with good shoes, with the footwear of prayer. Men walk as if they were never going to die. Have you ever thought that you have to be diligent and achieve your goals? God already called, and in this earth there is no eternal life, but rather in Heaven, if you don’t succeed, then you will go to the grave in that condition. There are things we need to correct today, if there is anything you need to repent about, today is the day. It is not easy to live a spiritual life. There are many things that we have to die to and be successful. What if we are lazy? We have to open our mouths and preach the gospel. We must not get confused, we have to walk and live in a hurry. Get up and pray! If God hid His face from you, what would you do? What if we don’t conquer His heart? God called you; He called the church in general. Have you answered that calling? Or are you not in a hurry? We have to be diligent, the devil wants to deceive us and rob us. This happens when as believers we don’t know how to be skillful to awaken from that dream. You probably have hidden a small part of rebellion. If all of a sudden you find yourself playing church, stop doing so, don’t be mistaken; we, the church, are the bride. Laziness means resisting to work. We must die to the flesh, it produces laziness and makes us sin. For God we have many excuses, miserable of us because we haven’t been able to see how great He is. It is required from us to be skillful for God’s work. But we mock the requirements and consequently the requirements of

your spiritual leader. It was the Son of God who washed you with His blood, and you don’t want to comply with the work He placed in your hands, and if this wasn’t enough, when you see someone who does you want to destroy him. If you knew the truth you would be free and you wouldn’t escape like a despicable coward. The delays in the work will lead us to die. We need to wake now, because when the weeping and gnashing of teeth comes, there will be no more opportunities. God knows those who are disobedient, and He will have the Holy Spirit restore what has been dying in you. Could it be that you felt passion for the souls before, but not anymore? There is a prayer to be made, and a town to rise. The doors that God opens are for us to take advantage of. How can we live in a labyrinth, under a dark cloud, that does not allow us to arrive to our objective. Let us take care of our heart, come close to God despite our condition. He arrived with abundance for our lives, if we are to respond to His call, let it be with passion. Those who want to do God’s work, be more determined, and those who have turned lazy, wake up. If we make a commitment with God, He will make a commitment with us. Amen.
