TOPIC: “GOD IS GOING TO GIVE ME ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY” Ephesians 3:16

God is going to give us according to His riches in glory. Paul knew how Jesus served on this Earth and how He serves us today. The Apostle Paul began a great struggle to clearly let know what the grace was, he emphasized each day more in what he had learned. He knew of the love of Jesus and that He had died on the cross for him and for humanity. Paul knew of God’s love and grace. God will give us according to his riches in glory. When we compare ourselves to the Lord, we can see that there is a big difference in giving. We give to others in a limited way. We give our portion according to what we have, but God gives the best of what He has. Jesus has no limitation, but He gives us with abundance, with proportion, according to His riches in glory, not according to what we do in the narrowness of our hearts. He has everything. God does not have just a little to give us but many riches. We can see that people do not give according to what they possess; they do not give according to what God has given them. The power which we aspire is the one that can make us look great before the people, but that is not the purpose of the Holy Spirit. On the contrary, God wants our inner self to be strengthened with power, and it is the spiritual power what we need to give like God gives. When the spiritual power is in us, there is nothing that can separate us from God; then we can be smart Christians. Therefore, we have to do better in our inner self. Sadly, people live for the external. People live skin-deep (a flor de piel) and not a profound life. We have to be clear that He can give us strength if we nourish ourselves with the Word of God. Let us breathe the pure air of prayer, which is a rest. And if we serve in the congregation united like an army, we also strengthen in this way our spirit. Nowadays everyone calls themselves Christians. There are those who say they have the Lord, but they have Jesus cornered in their life. We should never have Jesus in a corner, but enthroned in the center of our hearts, in the midst of our whole life. Sometimes, we have Jesus in a room of memories. Jesus is in our hearts by means of faith. Because we believed Him, He came to our hearts and is seated taking everything from us. Jesus transforms our whole being. He delivers us from evil and is at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf. Then, why should we have Him in the corner of our heart? He is the one who answers, heals us, took eternal death away, and all the evil that stalks us. Jesus chose as His personal residence to live in a believer from the moment of his conversion. This is something big, and we have to take this very seriously and be grateful each day. John 14:23 The Father and the Son dwell in our heart. Revelation 3:20 We are in supper constantly because He knocked at our door, we opened it, He came in and had supper with us. Our meal is with the powerful God that chose us. Is Jesus comfortable in our hearts? When He feels uncomfortable in our hearts it is because of the sin. Our heart has to have a home for three: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When He has full access to each room and place, let’s make sure that He is not saddened by our words and sinful actions. Let us not forget that the words of the righteous are pure and holy. Words with a double meaning are never spoken. If He enjoyed our lives through an uninterrupted communion, this would be very good for us. That is what He wants. Our relationship with God under the circumstances of our lives says what we are. This must not interrupt our

communion with God when He is the one who delivered us from this world, gave us eternal life, etc. Our communion must always be with God and should never be interrupted. That is the way the heart of a Christian should be. Our heart is the home of Christ. If He lives in us, then there must not be any sinful actions, ugly words or thoughts. If He reigns in us, there should not be any evil. Jesus likes to come into our hearts. The peace and joy that no one can give us is in Jesus. Why hold in low esteem the one who loves us so much? “From the abundance of the heart speaks the mouth.” The heart is the center of the spiritual life and controls every aspect of our behavior. The more the Holy Spirit invigorates us, the more we will be with the Lord Jesus Himself. People look for those who walk like the Lord Jesus. The great problem is that we lose our strength when we lose the Holy Spirit. And if that happens, we will never be like Jesus. Let’s wear ourselves out each day, so that Christ may dominate and control us. When Jesus leaves one’s life, one is not the same. The more we are like Him, the more He will settle and sit down comfortably in our heart. Then, He will never leave, but the only way that we can accomplish this is through faith, constantly depending on Him so that we can laugh, be in peace, speak well. When we are able to see how incapable we are to move ahead, then we will depend on Him for everything. If Jesus dwells in our heart, we have to be deeply rooted and established with love. But, when there is lack of love, one lives to destroy others. When we love, we do not harm anyone. The world does not live loving. A life of love is a life of kindness, affliction, depravation, and humbleness. In 1 Corinthians 13, we find the maximum expression of Christ’s love in us. That expression of love by Jesus is the one that the world is demanding from us. We must have communion with God in church. Sometimes, the church is for solving problems and not for the communion where one gets to know the Father who dwells in our hearts. It is the power of God that transforms our lives. We learn and we are disciplined in the congregation of the holy. Ephesians 2:11 The width refers to the Father’s attitude by the grace to save Jews and Gentiles and then to incorporate them into the church. We are the church and for this reason we have to understand that communion. Ephesians 1:4 Let us enjoy the length that extends from eternity to eternity. He chose us before the foundation of the world. The believers were chosen in Christ. Regarding the future, the eternity will be a perpetual development of His abundant riches in Christ. Ephesians 2:1-3 We were sunk in a well of sin, but Christ came to die on a cross on my behalf, in His kindness; then why do we walk away from Him? Ephesians 2:6 We are seated in celestial places. There is no bondage, evilness, death or disgrace. We are in sublimity. Not only have we been resurrected with Christ, but also enthroned with Him to share His glory. We have everything to gain. Amen.
