TOPIC: “I Will Struggle So That Incredulity Will Not Reach Me” Hebrews 3:12, Galatians 5:17 We need to struggle and see to it that incredulity will never reach our hearts. It can reach gradually those who have known the Lord, but not the impious who are already incredulous. We cannot become anxious day after day for those things we can possess, since nothing in this world is valuable enough to make us slip. We struggle for so many things, and this interrupts our walk with God. Be careful, it seems as we’re more committed to this world than we are with Heaven. What is our goal, what is the purpose of our existence? Are we not capable of looking at ourselves, to observe and see our attitudes, our acts? It is proper of human beings to have little faith. Everything in this earth is moved by faith. But, we are too ambitious. We don't get enough and we add personal goals because we are too selfish. We live each day for ourselves without looking the other way. We must go against incredulity so that there will be more faith among us. Because it is faith what moves mountains and God’s people have to move mountains! Let us not live to survive the way the impious lives, but to move mountains, and for this we need to believe. If we believe God He will move His hand according to our faith. And we need faith for this. “We must look out to not have a bad heart of incredulity”. Our heart becomes evil when we cease to believe, we become incredulous. Then we lack faith. We should be in the look out, constantly. But, what happens is that we become tired, because we have to be in look out 24 hours a day. We cannot rest, the more we watch out, the more careful we will be. And if we do, we have to believe that God will do a miracle. Sometimes the heart becomes harden because of incredulity. This is the reason people fail. We have to be in guard for everything that we have to live, watch our heart so that incredulity doesn’t reach us. People turn from God because of their incredulity. If we don’t look after our heart, incredulity will reach us and we will start to behave according to what is in our thoughts. We cannot allow our heart to be contaminated, because then we will make God look bad. When we are going through trials we should seek God even more. But mainly we open our mouth only to complain. When our hearts become evil because of incredulity we end up turning away from the Lord. This is why incredulity is a constant threat to our lives. Then we become desperate, asking why, looking for excuses, and we argue with everyone. To turn away from God is the same as complaining about Him. When we fear God what worries us is to remain by His side and not be discarded. When we walk away from God it is because we become too attached to this perverse world. The evilness of the flesh is what brings as consequence to reject God. Those who turn away from the Lord do so because of disobedience and incredulity. In turn, those who believe know they have a heritage in this world and in Heaven. Galatians 5:17 When we start living in the flesh it is because the grace is not there to sustain us. It is because the heart has already been contaminated with incredulity. Incredulity is a threat that will make us fall from the grace if we’re not careful. It is by God’s grace that we receive everything for free. When we fall from the grace we fall into a struggle, we are completely dominated by the flesh. The grace is no longer with us, the Holy Spirit leaves and greater problems begin; everything is lost. We must understand that God has marked us and given us a purpose. The desire of the flesh is against the Spirit. We all have to battle with our flesh so that our heart will not turn evil with incredulity. We

must remain doing what God wants for our lives. The more the flesh grows in us, the less we believe in God. The flesh is an empire that destroys men. Hell is obtained with incredulity, since disobedience arrives. In order to have the fire of the Spirit in us it is necessary to die to our flesh. Our purpose is to become obedient. We have two trees, the new creature when we are born in Jesus Christ and the old man that wants to rise against the work of the Spirit. We should maintain sterile that old tree and fructify the new one to walk and live in the Spirit. Between the flesh and the Spirit there is a great war, a constant conflict. God wants us to keep depending on Him every day. Let us always worship the one who created us. Instead of removing the old nature God gave us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us. God’s love has led Him to trust us to be good administrators of His Holy Spirit. He expects us to die to our flesh so that the Holy Spirit can work in us. And this way we will receive His wonderful blessings. When we discard what comes on behalf of God, we can see that we are a part of the cruel flesh that will rot. We are in continuous and perpetual war and we will continue this way until we are taken to the celestial place to be united with Christ. What we should do is surrender to the Spirit so that the flesh doesn’t take possession of us. Ephesians 4:13, 14 Our goal is to become perfect for God. The process of perfection is until we arrive to a state of unity and maturity and then the Lord can take His church to the celestial place. We will all arrive and we will see Him just as He is when we have already reached perfection. Jesus is the head and we are the body, and if He is perfect we also have to be perfect. We will be a perfectly, appropriate body for His precious head. When the work of the sanctification progresses in the heart of a Christian, corruption becomes weak. We thank God for the faith that has been given to us. Amen.
