Our prayers are directed to the Father. Jesus prayed in secrecy and was one of the people with most credibility on the Earth. Jesus advised us that we should always remain in prayer. Prayer can be very difficult. Through prayer we are spoken from Heaven and this is why we must surrender completely. There are things we will not understand if we do not have prayer. When confusion comes, prayer will bring clarity. If there is no prayer we are completely disconnected from God and disoriented. The devil wants to interrupt our prayer, because without prayer the hand of God will lack in us. If we are not people of prayer we cannot give advice or give from us to others. Because as we live we speak, and this is what we give, and we don’t have much to teach. But, from God there is much to give and prayer is what will guide us to know God and will give us knowledge. Mathew 5:44 When we are insulted and pursued all we do is complain, but from God comes mercy or trials. God does not want our hearts to be contaminated with hatred against others. If we have a problem with someone we must not do anything, simply go to the Father who sees everything. He is the one who will do in this world. Prayer must be directed properly to God the Father. He gives orders to the Holy Spirit who at the same time orders the angles to take care of us. But, we will achieve this closing the door of our bedroom and praying to the Father. If there is someone who knows the Father that is Jesus and He is who gives us this advice. If we experience this, we will have everything to gain. Mark 11:24 Sometimes we lock ourselves in our homes because of depression, but we don’t lock ourselves up to pray because if we do all that we requested to the Father we will have. The problem is that we don't have "the room of prayer." This is why we always live in complaint and this becomes a habit. The only way to move the power of God is through prayer. We need personal prayer. Luke 18:1 Jesus talked about the need of prayer. We have many needs and to supply our needs there must be prayer so that the Father can respond. We can’t do it alone, because this life is very hard and we have to suffer many things. When we stop praying we lack from the things that God has for us, we can’t receive them, we cannot rejoice from them. When we stop praying we become scarce of the things that God has for us, we don't receive them, we cannot enjoy them. We should discipline our body because it likes to be lazy. If as the church we stop praying many things will be scarce for the church. When we don’t pray we stop being spiritual and the flesh will dominate. We lack of strength if the Father doesn’t intervene. And how can we move the hand of God if we don't pray and He doesn't even know our face? We must totally depend on this powerful God; this is why we need prayer. Prayer is a desire, something we yearn for, something we want, it is asking, it is a supplication. Anxiety must provoke us to pray. Prayer and anxiety go together. This is why we must ask for. Mathew 14:23 Jesus had to leave the people to go and pray,He left quietly, secretly. There are some who like to pray in public, but those who pray must understand that we must live exactly as the verse says, in solitude, where there is no one. When we become persons of prayer we will have a taste of what solitude is. We will begin to see what we have requested for because we are rewarded in public and God knows that we have prayer in our lives. People know where there is prayer and where there is not.

Mark 1:35 Jesus prayed, He had communion with God. Then, what about us who are as widows that don’t have anyone to defend them? We have to have a total dependence on God. Today people depend on anyone, we depend so little on God for everything. Jesus did many miracles and taught His disciples that they needed to fast and pray. Those who decide to have a life of prayer will depend completely on God. We will give what comes from the Father, but we will obtain this only by prayer. We need to know the Father. Mark 6:46 We must love solitude. We will not be able to be people of God who can see clearly and precise if we don’t have moments of solitude, because here is where God speaks to us. The time that we are going to have with God must be in solitude. Jesus always maintained communion with the Father. Human beings do not want to pray, for this reason they are deceived. Because when we maintain communion with God there are no spirit that can deceive us. And if we conserve ourselves in prayer there are no diabolical spirits that can poses us. Praying is what preserves our lives. Luke 5:16 After healing the people Jesus always went to a deserted place to pray. Those who pray are never moved from where ever, but rather they recognize the Father’s voice. If as church we become ambitious and look for fame, and we can have this, but Jesus will not be there. God will send us for what belongs to us. Deserted places are better. To do the work of God we must have a lot of prayer. We must learn how to have solitude with God. In order to do what we need to do we must have communion with the Father. Luke 9:18 Jesus prayed in an isolated place because to pray we need a distance even from our loved ones. Luke 11:1 Jesus taught how to pray because this was His principle. The problem nowadays is that for many have been taught that prayer isn’t necessary, but there is no biblical base to say this, because if we don't pray we will not have life with God. Jesus lived the Father's will; He did not need pity because in Him there was only obedience and self-denial. Many great crises came to Jesus life and prayer was what strengthened Him. Luke 2:21 it is impossible for us to make a decision if we have not prayed. Prayer declares who we are. Our shortage or abundance depends on prayer. If we have not been able to maintain ourselves in what God has for us, it is because of the lack of prayer. Prayer must come before anything else. We should not do anything if we have not prayed. John 6:15 Jesus had just fed 5,000 people and He knew they wanted to make Him king, for that reason He isolated Himself to pray. If Jesus would have been a common man, undoubtedly He would have accepted willingly the proposal from them. Because men are exalted in positions of pre-eminence, this is the reason why they do not seek for solitude. Jesus didn't let Himself be moved by vanity and pride. He hid, even though He was the real King. He presented Himself when they were going to crucify Him. The lack of prayer makes us want to be made as kings. In Luke 9:29 while Jesus prayed the apostles rested. Jesus prayed in the transfiguration, He was praying for us in that moment. His prayer will sustain even when we pass through history. Mathew 26:39 Jesus the son of God had a crisis, His body felt it violently and the only way He could pass through all this was to prostrate His face in prayer. The demons know that if we don't pray we won't be guided and this will not allow us to receive what God has for us. Luke 23:34 In the midst of being crucified Jesus was devoted to prayer. In His final prayer Jesus asked the Father to forgive those who had crucified Him. If we don't take care of our lives in prayer nothing will matter to us, but our life and our acts will speak. We must seek to always have prayer in our lives and as our habit. Amen.
