Topic: "If I hide sin there won't be freedom for me or for others" Ezekiel 8:12 Silence is the worst weapon that sin has to harm men. Silence is something that should not exist in us; we should speak the truth and uncover with words what shouldn’t be hidden. Silence is an ally of sin, a horrible weapon to destroy. The devil works in darkness because he doesn't like the light. For that reason the darkness, what is not in light, is for the evil. When there is sin in someone, he will always try to escape from the light. Those who want to be free, on the contrary, prefer things to be clear. The man's soul wants to sin and silence is chosen to do what is wrong. As long as sin is hidden there is no freedom. When we are born again in Christ it is to be free; no one should take that freedom from us. Once we lose it everything changes. This world lives in its wrath and its anger. The more we keep their sins to ourselves, it will take more time for them to receive the life of Christ which can change them. The soul, although it hides the sin, will sooner or later see the consequences of hiding that sin. When a person is in sin he or she maintains a distance from others. Proverbs 28:13 Those who conceal their sin will not prosper because they will continue to be angry, filthy, etc. 3 John 1:2 says that as our soul prospers so does everything else. That is God’s desire and also what the pastors want for their churches. The day that men and women decide they want to prosper in life then they will make the decision to sin no more. Then they will prosper in health, work, ministry and everything they touch will prosper. When we do not want to admit our sin this is what doesn’t allow us to prosper. Nehemiah 4:19 Nehemiah understood that when it is time to battle we must do it all together so that our soul will prosper. The people of God must fight this battle and this goes for all of us. We cannot become indifferent to the struggles of others. Nehemiah was very conscious of all these struggles and the indifference of the people. For this reason he tells them that there is much work to do and it is extensive. What comes from God is extensive and profound; it is not light. When one doesn't live for God at the fullest extent, there are excuses for sinning by blaming others when the guilt belongs to the sinner. We arrived to God’s house and we must surrender 100%, we live for God completely and extensively. One sometimes lives in an eternal rest; let us wake up, let us open our eyes. How can we let the enemy in? Let us make a decision to take the lance and have no pity for the enemy that comes to destroy us. We sometimes see sin coming, we don't say anything and the silence becomes our worst weapon. Silence is the worst thing for those who need to be told what is happening. Nehemiah ordered all of them to be inside the walls of Jerusalem. For many it is easy to slow down because they don't want to struggle. One of the qualities of those who hide their sin is the distance that they keep from others. Those who watch stand firm in the fortress. Those who fight are the ones who have courage. Genesis 3:8 Adam and Eve hid from the presence of Jehovah. They were not hiding their body but their sin. Before they used to hear Jehovah’s voice and it was sweet because they were His friends. But,when one moves away from God the Word makes him twist. They were friends of God; they spoke with God every day. When the presence of God arrived they spoke with Him. After they broke God’s commands by taking what was prohibited, then they became sinners. When there is sin there is punishment from God.

We must seek to have God as our friend, not as a judge; we decide this when we seek Him in sanctity. The voice of Jehovah caused them great fear. When there is sin one cannot prosper. Everything in us can prosper, but only if we’re united with God. When there is sin what follows is the fear of being discovered. It was the judge's arrival what scared Adam and Eve. A judge comes to dictate a sentence, to declare what is fair. The effect and the evidence of their fear was that they hid from the presence of God. Now they felt terror towards God. In church we should maintain our walls high and we should take good care of them because this work where we have received well-being, peace and freedom is extensive. For that reason it is necessary to take care of it with all our passion. Their conscience accused them and put their sin pleasant to them. Sin may seem beautiful for a moment, but then everything begins to go wrong. When one plays with sin the intentions cannot be seen clearly. No one should cover up for another person’s sin. Joshua 7:21 The sin of one person brings evilness to the people just as it happened with Achan. Joshua felt self-confident, but there was sin among the people, that’s why they lost the war. The church loses. Achan desired what was a horrible sin and this was greed. Achan defeated his own people by desiring what belonged to others and this became a curse. Greediness is death for the church. Jehovah had told them not to touch anything. Jehovah said that just by looking and desiring it is sin. If there is death it is because there is sin. To desire what belongs to others is a sin. The war cannot be won if there is sin. You do not cry for a person’s sin, you point it out. When the church brings sin it hurts and the innocent pay the consequences. The name of Jehovah cannot become a mockery before the nations. Achan brought defeat to a nation. You don’t cry your sin by letting it get by easy. Regarding sin we should make firm decisions. They had shattered what God had ordered. The price that was paid so that a church can exist was very violent, by the body of Christ which was destroyed. Achan carried the curse together with the other sacred things. God came as a judge and the people were frightened. Men sin; we must not play with sin. Isaiah 29:15 it is shown here the stupidity of those who think they can act secretly behind God’s back, but God sees everything and evilness is declared from the attic. Jehovah will avenge those who sin. Jehovah sees although some think that nobody sees and the judge will arrive to bring judgment. One sin brings another sin. The infidel doesn't have anything for us. We don't seek support from the infidel, our rest and support is in God. It is easier to seek someone who is closer than to seek God, because to go to Jehovah you have to be devoted. When a person does not seek help from Jehovah it is because he has already become rebellious, he creates his own scheme to avoid seeking the Holy Spirit as a guide. The only way we can conquer is in prayer and by fasting. Sin is filthy. If you come to God sanctify yourself even more. God is attentive to our matter, let us be careful. The calamities that were brought upon the people of Israel demonstrated that God was no longer with them. Let us keep away from evil and report in the light and this way we will always be on God’s side and with His support always. Amen.
