When we are happy with what we are we learn to enjoy

To be a eunuch in biblical times implied to live in a complete negation of every pleasure, to totally die to themselves to surrender a service to a king, to a queen or any other person or cause for a lifetime. In those times a man could be selected to be a eunuch and to be in the king’s court. But, a eunuch lived as a handicapped, unable of reproducing as the other men; therefore, they didn't have the opportunity that other men had of someone admiring them, or to applaud them. Well, in those times there was much pride in procreating and having a family. These eunuchs had their reproductive organs castrated. The rulers who had a harem did this to them because they were asked specifically to take care of the women and this was a way of preventing them to become interested in them. In the Bible there were also men who stood out voluntarily to become eunuchs for the cause of the Kingdom of Heaven. They were men without any physical birth defects, or defects caused by human hand; they could reproduce as any other man, but they decided voluntarily to abstain from women by not giving into marriage and dedicating this way all their life and strength to the Lord. There are things that one as human sees in other people and we measure them as great and wonderful. We measure many things according to our own human ambitions. But, when it has to do with God, we cannot continue to see it this way. In many occasions we are far from God’s thoughts and we are not able to understand His plans. If we were able to see God’s plan carried out in each person we would see the greatness of God in each one. But, fame and human success is always measured. But, God’s blessings are not given in the way people are rewarded and received merits nowadays. The rewards for the meek and the humble are in Heaven. We cannot measure people for the successes, or for how great they may seem before our eyes or the eyes of others. When we measure ourselves and we see that we do not feel capable of doing this or that, then we punish ourselves. But, God does not see us this way. In many occasions we are dazzled and we go crazy because of the splendor of others. Then we begin to measure ourselves, but each one will shine for the light that God gives to each one. We won't have more or less light but what we’re entitled to receive from God. If we could understand this we would be located exactly where God wants to have us. We each have the light that God gives us. God wrote his plans for us before the foundation of the earth. We have to fulfill our history, the one that has been in the mind of God. Let us be inspired in what God wants and begin to move in what is perfect. We have to be clear and convinced that each one of us has to be what God wants us to be. Every time that we invade the territory of other people, we underestimate our own value to the eyes of the Creator. Let us begin to love ourselves. It is to love what God made. Sometimes we begin to decline in our faith instead of growing more in the faith in respect to what we have to do. We cannot be more or less but what God wants, what is for us to do. We must not go where we don’t belong. Each one to what God called him for. If each one is in the right place, what we have to do does not become a burden. Ephesians 4: 16 God loves us very much for what we are. In this Island of Puerto Rico and to each believer in other countries, God places us to do what He wants. He gives us the capacity and the light that we need to shine where we are. If we think that we are small due to our service in the Kingdom of God, then, let us learn of the eunuchs! There is not a

greater light than the one in the House of God. God has placed each one of us according to the capacity that He has given us. We all shine together. We have a great advantage here in the Church and it is that there is no one great or small, here we are all one. There is not an iron scepter to measure us among us; to each and every one of us God requests what we have to give. To say: “I’m worthless" it is of Satan and it is him who is worthless. God wants us to be one so that we can all walk in the road that He has prepared for each one. We all have a little to do. If we think that we have more than what we really have, the load will become too heavy. We should never abandon our place and much less, for a long time. We have to be faithful to what we have to give no matter how much or how little that would be. When we step aside we don't give the portion that we’re supposed to give, then there is emptiness in the Church. What is in the mind of those who step aside and do not go along with us? He despises himself, he is escaping, hiding. Life must be conquered, day by day, by loving and surrending ourselves totally. When we underestimate ourselves we stop. The little value that we give ourselves doesn't allow us to be ourselves, to be what God wants us to be. When we are happy with what we are we learn to enjoy and we are never worried of what surrounds us. Leviticus 21:18 The law established that it was forbidden for a eunuch or mutilated man to enter the congregation. It was said the eunuch was a dry tree, with no fruits, for such a reason they were not well spoken about and could not be in the House of God. Acts 8:27 The queen's eunuch ran into Phillip and was baptized. We were dry trees because we didn't have anything to give to God, we were sterile; there was nothing good in us. But after believing in our Lord Jesus, all of us who were discarded began to live new life. We don't have anything to leave to anyone but only what comes on behalf of God. Then, why go on waiting and take so long? Jesus died so that we could have life and have it in abundance. We are very valuable, although people make a mockery of us. Because those who love God are very valuable, because of what God has done in our lives. The Lord’s church lives privileged because of Him. The Father valorized us and for that reason we value everything that surrounds us. God delivered us from being dry trees and placed us in His house; protected and blessed by Him, we are His children and we have to give to God being faithful. We cannot underestimate the value and talent that we have been given by God by distancing ourselves. If we don't give our small portion then we will cry a lot. Let us serve now in the Kingdom of God with honor and we will obtain the eternity. Amen.
