TOPIC: “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor will last a lifetime” Psalm 30:5 Sometimes it seems that we cannot rise when we find ourselves so wounded in the middle of the battle. But, in order to stay firm in this spiritual war it is up to us to be on God’s side so that we will be able to tolerate, persevere and succeed. We are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses that will say who has or hasn’t won this battle. Hebrews 12: 1 This is why we have to be winners. If Jehovah would become upset with something in our lives He immediately would begin to work in us to remove what ever is necessary. If we don't respond to God’s treatment as He expects from us, then that will produce God anger and this is not good for us. There are processes that we must go through in this world in order to perfect our spiritual lives. For example, the sadness that we feel which sometimes seems like a long and dark tunnel and is difficult to bear. But we must understand that in order to grow and to be refined as a diamond, in this life we must go through many things. Hebrews 12: 11 When we live in sadness one lives in a painful atmosphere. But, we must consider that in this road we need to see and hear many things. For this reason there will be many tunnels of sadness in our lives. Then, when these sad days arrive we must seek for the light in order to endure these days. In many occasions this sadness wants to walk a lifetime with us, but this should not be. Isaiah 51:11 In all our sad days God has come out as a powerful giant to defend us. Regrettably, the day of sadness has made many collapsed. Each one of us must live our days of sadness and trust Jehovah. Many have not been able to see the love of God and they become very bitter, pain and deplorable and they have not allowed the Lord to console them. The Father's love comes on our behalf and that love made Jesus come and die for us on the cross. The anger of God is only for a moment. Psalm 30:5 We must please God. Sadness doesn't allow us to sing, but we must always seek to have a song in our mouths, that we share our happiness with others and come together in worship. As long as we praise, Jehovah will not have anger. But, if we examine ourselves and find that there is still scum, then Jehovah, who sees everything, will have to work with us to correct that. We must seek for our hearts to burn with passion for love towards our God. There are many reasons for Jehovah to be angry with us, but this will be for only a moment. If we have walked improperly as time goes by we will become lukewarm. We forget that sin is knocking at the door and it will possess us. There are many reasons for Jehovah to get angry at us, but the best thing in our lives is to repent. Sometimes we want to get out of a certain situation and God’s mercy comes on our behalf. His favors last a lifetime. It is this way because in His favor there is life and we desire this, and this is what we must hold on to. In His favor we will acquire life and we will always have His love wherever we are, by day or at night. If we have the favor of God He will always be available, He will deliver us, and shake us and accommodate us exactly where we should be.

Nobody can have the love God has for us. We sometimes make God many promises, but we don't fulfill them, while His favor lasts a lifetime. For this reason we are still standing. God’s favor lasts a lifetime and it is for the wellbeing or the failure in our lives. If men on Earth do not have God’s favor they will not be able to enjoy anything. Those who don’t have His favor will not know how to enjoy Heaven or even a moment of worship. We have God’s favor to listen to our prayers, our worship and we will have much to gain. When we have God’s favor, even when all the demons rise against us, they will not be able to come against us. Sadness can only last one night, but there are promises from God for those who have believed. At night we weep and become sad, but this will not be for long because God gives us another day to live. The weeping by night is a traveling guest that arrives, but in the morning it has to leave. When the night is over, the sadness disappears. On a night of problems, our nerves and our brain get tired. The enemy will bring many thoughts. The devil forgets that God’s anger is only for a moment and that His favor lasts a lifetime. When we cry at night it seems that we cannot take the pressure, but God’s favor and His love will be there for a lifetime for us. During that night our heart beats violently, there is weeping and our body refuses to resist the moment of trial and this makes us feel afflicted. But the happy days arrive. Sadness will come for only one night, but in the morning joy will come and things will no longer be the same. With sadness, but we will be able to tolerate; severe, but there is nothing impossible; terrible, but not in despair. He who has called us will fill us with joy to sing and declare the victory. Amen.
