I Will Receive God’s Treatment With Humility

TOPIC: “I Will Receive God’s Treatment With Humility” Job 2: 10 Job understood that what we receive comes from God. In many occasions we blame others for what we are going through, but God is who chose our life and for this reason we will receive from Him all His treatments and all His blessings. We love to be blessed by God and prosper, this is clear. But, our lives belong to God completely, so He will allow in our lives battles, trials, hard teachings and also the blessings. So if we always try to measure everything to defend ourselves we won’t be able to understand that everything comes from God. If we are able to understand this we will become more mature. When we begin to take so many safety measures it is because we have begun to live in distrust. Everything comes from God. It is necessary for us to live the life that God has prepared for us. We have to face every situation in our lives so that we will learn and receive the best that God has for us. It seems that when the soul is very upset we receive the good things but not the bad. Job didn't understand what was happening to him until the end. We will never understand in advance the process that we must go through. When we are living through a series of trials we want a quick solution. The more we get depressed the more we will only hurt ourselves. We must learn everything that is necessary for us to learn without becoming upset. It is better for us to remain calm and stand firm. God will provide us with all our needs and whatever needs to be removed God will remove when He believes it is the right time. It is important what God has to work in us. Let us see what God is working in our lives now. We sometimes abandon this race before God finishes working in us. But, if we do we won't be successful in our old-age. God began to deal with Job, it was a process that only God knew and had with him. Job lost everything. Each one of us has to receive from God whatever He has for us. God wanted to work with Job. The same God was to take charge of him. We must go through whatever we need to live through because, after all, it is God who wants to work in us. Therefore, from Job’s trials, we can clearly see that it is not wise to contend with God. God shows His power through us. Job knew who his God was. Do we know who our God is? We must be willing to go through any circumstance without hiding. Job understood that it was better to remain silent before God. Whatever we must live through we must go through it with our heads up. God allowed Job to see his amazing greatness. Job 42:7 Jehovah saw that Job was a righteous man in all his ways. Sometimes we speak of what we think but do not know for a fact. Job knew how to live through his experiences. We must know the God whom we serve. We sometimes say that the devil has schemed against us, but what God wants is for us to learn; for this reason we must not fear. Psalm 19:12, 13 Job went through his whole crisis in humility. When God works with our lives we could say as David said: "who can discern their own errors". Job had to live thru difficult trials to understand what was in him, what he ignored. God delivers us from our hidden errors; He doesn't reject us but rather what He wants is for us to understand what is hidden quietly inside of us. The more we read the Word of God the

clearer our minds will be and we will understand what sin is. Then, God will deliver us from what is hidden from us. Sometimes, when difficult times arise, we blame others. But it is necessary for our lives to go thru afflictions so that we will humble before God. Nothing can separate us from this well-known love. No evil will succeed against us. In difficult moments we need someone to love us. We also need to love others. When God is delivering us from something that is hidden we have to be as sincere as David was. God does know what is hidden inside of us and we must ask him to reveal to us what is unknown to us. Sin is sin, although we ignore it. To confess what is hidden should not be of shame for us because what God wants is to work in us. What we keep hidden will rot and destroy us. God believes in us as He believed in Job. God knows what is inside of us better than anybody and He wants to work in us; this treatment does not come from the devil. It is easier to ask God to deliver us from what is hidden inside of us. The devil could not destroy Job but rather Job was able to understand clearly who God was. It is terrible when a man is filled with arrogance. We sometimes say "I don't deserve this" and we turn away from God. Sometimes we allow things because we think they are not bad, but God sees it clearly. God has to allow us to see what is wrong and what is right. Romans 7:15 When we understand that with our own natural strength we will not have any victory then we will understand, as Paul teaches us, that our flesh is the greatest opposition against our spirit. The flesh struggles so that we won’t do what we have to do. We must kill our flesh. God wants to deliver us with His mighty hand, with His sovereignty. The flesh opposes the spirit, but we don't have to fear. Job became a more spiritual man because of what he went thru. Each one of us has to live through our own unique experiences and through God’s treatment for our lives. So everything we live through will make us know God in a greater way. Our flesh wants to drag us to do what we don’t want to do. Job 40:4 When we recognize our condition and we humble ourselves we will say: "what a miserable man I am!" Romans 7:24 How merciful can God be with us! Paul said that he was willing to receive from God whatever came upon his life. We must let God work in us and not become upset. Amen.
