The Holy Spirit takes us and works in us

TOPIC: “The Holy Spirit takes us and works in us” Luke 1:35-41 The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and He wants to take us for Him; it is like saying that we belong to Him. Jesus was coming into this world in a body of a person with a human nature, in a woman in whom there was nothing supernatural. God is the divine nature. This woman found grace before God’s eyes. When the Holy Spirit arrives at a person’s life who wants to serve God He wants to take it, to possess it. When the Holy Spirit takes somebody it is because the Sovereign God orders it, we no longer belong to ourselves but to the one that possesses us. The Holy Spirit came, and took that woman and came to live in her womb with divine nature. She had not been infected with sin, she knew the law, she had conserved her body in sanctity, and she had been chosen for God’s purposes. It is easy to go by what others say, but many don't want to be guided by the Holy Spirit. The Creator came to be born in a natural, human body; it became an embryo with a nature of someone common by the manifestation of the power of God. A sacred body so that a Savior would be born to bring a miracle for the salvation to our souls. Nowadays God chooses bodies so that the Holy Spirit can arrive and carry out the purposes of God in our lives. When God looks at us from Heaven we should find grace before Him. To be full with the Holy Spirit is to live constantly in God and so that He will reveal to us the secrets from Heaven. When there is contamination the Holy Spirit cannot dwell in us. God needs our human nature to use us. The power of God is not in our strength but in Him. Sometimes we believe that we could arrange what the Father has established, we are daring, but as mortals the Father has chosen us to do through us what He has already established. God is the one in charge of this world and of life. It is not merely that He chose us to go to the Heaven but for what God planned on Earth for us to carry out. God was not seeking big crowds but rather He came to a woman with a human nature who lived in sanctification before Him to do great things. Whatever the Holy Spirit wants to do in us, there is no need to be confused but to stay calm so that God can work in us; this is the reason why He seeks our human nature. When God wants to work in our lives we wonder as Maria wondered: "How will it be and when? We need a miracle from the Holy Spirit. Plans were made in Heaven trusting us. He trusts that we will allow Him to guide us, because the Holy Spirit has taken us to never abandon us. We don't know about tomorrow, but we do know of today and as He has come today He will come tomorrow. He is in search of a simple heart, somebody willing for Him to do. We must find grace before Jehovah’s eyes and conserve ourselves pure. The power of the Almighty was going to cover this woman and it is the same power that covers us through the Holy Spirit to guide our lives. What does God seek and want from us? What the Father wants for our lives would be impossible in our human body; the only way is if the Holy Spirit takes control of our lives. The powerful God of the Trinity becomes a Savior, He became an embryo in a human body. How great what

can happen in a person who seeks Jehovah. The first thing is to do God’s will, and that is to surrender to what God has for us. The Holy Spirit will take care of His work in our lives. Maria surrendered totally to God’s will. When in us there is a fire to do what God wants, our feet become agile and we will go far. With a wonderful submission Maria surrendered to the Lord for the fulfillment of His purposes. The problem nowadays is that many lack submission and their lives are filled with arrogance. She had to face great responsibilities and persecutions, but she didn't care. Our problem is that we want to please everybody. It is better for us to love what God has given us. The purposes of God were fulfilled in her life and she did not oppose the angel in any way when he came to her. If God called us He will take charge of healing us, and work in every detail of our lives. As long as we surrender to Him God will send the Holy Spirit. Maria was exposed to danger and the worst thing that she had to live was to see her son die in the cross as if He was a vile sinner. Every call made from God is difficult. Every day and moment of her life was deep in her heart, and for us to be able to bear this that is difficult we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. The guidance of the Holy Spirit comes to us and this is the only way we can understand what the Father wants. When somebody is filled with the Holy Spirit, wherever they arrive, the Holy Spirit also arrives and fills everything. God has chosen us and the difficult thing is to move in that direction because fear affects our lives. The reason for this is because there is a lack of seeking God, our thoughts wear us down and this stops the Holy Spirit from moving in us. The Holy Spirit wants to move, speak to us, and guide every movement in us. Maria was called "blessed" because she believed. The manifestation of the Holy Spirit was in her life and the Savior in her womb. We must seek to be blessed by the Father. Blessed are those who believe that God will fulfill what He has spoken. The reason that we are chosen implies that we can have a crown of happiness and at the same time a cross of anguish. The disturbing reality is that God doesn't choose a person to give him tranquility, comfort or selfish satisfactions, but for a mission that will require from us all our mind, heart and strength. This is the way it is when God chooses a person He wants to use. When God uses us, our life is no longer the same. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the will of God will never harm us. The shadows of life are illuminated, knowing that even these are also in God’s plan for us. Therefore, whatever we suffer, the shade of persecutions and whatever we must live are also in God’s plan for our spiritual growth. It is necessary to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't arrive to make our lives easier but to become great in us. In a death, in a problem, there is no defeat, because the God whom we serve is great and powerful. The Holy Spirit wants to take control of our lives for what He wants to do in us. Amen.
