Who Can Deliver the Believer Who Challenges and Despises God?

TOPIC: “Who Can Deliver the Believer Who Challenges and Despises God?” 1st Samuel 2:25-36 Let us not forget that our lives are a cult to God. We arrive at the House of God to give God cult. When God chooses men He converts them so that they can give him cult. Occasionally, in our daily living, we don’t give God cult by hurting Him with our bad actions. God is a God of love that is strong; there is no fragility in Him. God does not preserve anyone who doesn’t know how to give Him cult. We always have to keep our eye on God. Every move we make is seen by God and based on this He answers. This way we will receive what he will move for our lives. In God there is life and abundance, but there is also death. The well-being for our lives depends on us, to stand and seek Him as long as He can be found. When God chooses it is because He wants us to do His will, but it is very easy for some to contend with God as if He didn’t exist. When God chooses we have no right to speak but to be lead by His good will. If we don’t do what He wants He will find someone else immediately and we will be losing. God chooses us and He doesn’t expect any suggestions from us about what we think is right. God chose Saul so that he could terminate Amalec. He gave him an order because He is the only one who can give orders on Earth. When God calls for answers there is no one who can hold up. Saul forgot that God had given him orders. He told Moses He was going to terminate Amalek’s descent and gave the order to Saul to do so, but Saul did not follow the orders, therefore, Jehovah rejected him. Jehovah will discard whoever goes against His will. Saul destroyed God’s plans. He forgot that God keeps His word and what He says will be carried out. Saul forgot that he had been chosen by God, but not to change God’s divine plans. Numbers 20:23, 28 Moses had dressed Aaron under God’s glory and later had to undress him. Exodus 32:21 Aaron never thought that his bold decision would lead to having his clothes being taken away; he was as rebellious as he was when he prepared the golden calf for the people. To lose what God has given us to give Him cult is something sad. God did not give us life to waste it or to sin and take things lightly but to give Him cult. When God chooses He expects us to give ourselves completely to Him and not to anyone else. Judas wasn’t chosen among the 12 disciples to become a traitor or rebellious. Arrogance opposes the presence of God. Rebellion is very dangerous before the living God. It will be terrible if we let it reach our heart. When we represent God in this world and we have God’s feeling we can perceive when human beings become rebellious. It is against God who men rebel. God gave us our existence. To become rebellious is like throwing holiness and purity on the carpet. God has filled our lives with so much good, then, how can we sell it for a few coins or passions? The flesh takes over our life and our mind. The one who loves us does not have a price. But we do and it is the blood of the lamb. God has made plans for us until the end of our lives. He organized our death up to the eternity as He did with Saul, Aaron and Judas, but sin interfered and God’s plans were not fulfilled. Any difficulty that can occur among men can be settled with a

judge, but if a man sins against God, who can reconcile him? Who can remedy those who sin against their Creator? It is the greatest insult that can be made. Eli’s sons were the ones who were in charge of giving cult to God and we have been called to give cult to God, to worship Him and bless Him. God chose us in the eternity to give Him cult every day of our lives. It is better to die than to sin against our Creator. We are here to praise Him, bless and sanctify His name. Then, if we sin against God, severe judgments will be expected for sinning against the one who called us. Aaron’s sons were sinning against God. God was not being glorified during their cult because of their sin. Where does so much confidence and liberty come from to sin against God? Then, instead of giving God a pure cult, He is given an impure cult. God is holy and good, to go against Him is the worse. What is hidden does not prosper and it is for destruction. God terminated Saul the same way he terminated the sons of Eli. God did not permit their sin. Their constant sinning made God determine to destroy them. God is not blind, He can see everything. When God says it’s done, it’s done. Jehovah looks with pure eyes and we should do the same. God is given cult in sanctity, for that we have been created. Our worship to God cannot be substituted by anything we possess in this world. Our quest will determine what God will give us. Eli thought that God had separated him and had given him comfort. They helped themselves with other things that did not come from God and lived in lust. Eli took them to Hell without repentance. Eli forgot that the cult to God was more important than the loud noises. Success is found in maintaining the cult to Jehovah in sanctity. God had chosen them for priesthood and the fact that they were the priests children God wasn’t about to allow sin. People trust the church and have the need to run into pure brothers and sisters. When God calls us it is for us to honor the holy. It is not the riches or the positions but the honor that God gives us to give Him cult in sanctity and purity. God sees men, children, women and the youth in purity in this world. Then so should we. We are struggling with the sin of lust; we cannot participate of the sins of the sons of Eli. The people who give cult to Jehovah have clean feet. But instead of sanctifying ourselves we pollute ourselves. When God gives it is not to keep it to ourselves. The sons of Eli had stolen and Eli participated of this robbery. They didn’t need anything, but sin drives to steal. Eli had the holy meal that Jehovah had prepared for him. To yield to licentiousness is to honor the one who is sinning more than to honor God. Eli pretended and honored his children more than he honored God. Eli knew about their bad habits, but tried to conceal it. We have to stay away from sin so that there will be good in our lives. Priesthood was taken away from Eli. Jehovah eliminates whoever despises Him. There is calamity in the homes of those who refuse to give cult to God. Eli had a tragic death because he wouldn’t walk away from sin. God raised a faithful and holy priesthood. God rises so that we can give Him cult. He is the one who provides. Not in great glories but in purity. God hates sin, and He seeks men who are willing to give Him cult. Amen.
