TOPIC: “I will be Sober and be careful of the temptation that the Devil brings” Revelation 12:7-10 If we think that we are not important and that nobody else cares we are very mistaken. In the spiritual world we are well-known by God and his angels and by the enemy, the devil. The accusing devil goes before God and accuses us day and night. Don't think that your life goes on unnoticed because the devil came with millions of demons with the purpose of attacking and deceiving the whole world. The devil has permission to go to the Father and accuse us. He doesn't waste time in following our steps to tempt us and make us fall and this way he will have something to tell the Father. There is nothing the Devil won’t tell the Father about us. Open your eyes. He never does anything legal but illegal, dirty and evil. He doesn't come to edify us but to bring us eternal shame. Then as believers, we must take care of ourselves. Above all we should know that when there is an accusation there is someone who defends us. We have a lawyer who is Christ. But, if the Father doesn't see the blood of Christ covering us, then there is no one to defend us from Satan’s accusations. The devil wanted Peter to perish by bringing temptation to him. He wants us to fall deep, to the bottom of the pit. That’s what he wanted to do to Peter, make him fall so that he could accuse him. The only power that Satan has is the one that God allows him to have, as we can see in Job 1:12, 2:6 and 1 Corinthians 10:13. But, if we yield before Satan’s temptation we will go down. But God has provided us with a way out. James 4:7 If we resist the devil he will have to flee. In us there should not be any regrets because we are soldiers, we live in a war, in a battle. The believer cannot have any regrets but see the truth, and that is that this life is violent. Satan comes violently against us. We must surrender completely to God. We must live in prayer, and in fasting. We must get our life together and stop wasting time. We must not give Satan a reason to accuse us before God. When we surrender completely to God we have to understand that we must read the Word of God. The world offers many pleasures, but these only lead to eternal punishment. When the devil comes to tempt us and we resist he has to flee and he cannot go to the Father to accuse us. We are the ones who leave that door open or closed according to how much we fear God. Let us be sober and be vigilant, let us fight. 1 Peter 5:8 We all have to go through the same sufferings everywhere, but we must be sober. Satan’s power is violent, but our greatest power is the name of Jesus in our mouth. It was given to us to praise God. Satan was created between luxury and greatness, but we were given a heart. Satan was an angel of light, he was very beautiful. He envied God so much. We have been created to praise God and bless him knowing that we have to be sober, moderate, to walk and that our accuser is watching us. The Father knows everything and He created us for Him and He knows that now we are sober people who do not yield to the flesh or to our passions. We cannot give the devil any reason to go to the Father because we are making him look bad. Let us be vigilant, let us be sober, although others say that we exaggerate. Jesus goes to the Father. We are not entitled to go. If we are not sober the devil will be laughing and he will go to the Father to tell him everything with all the details. We must understand this so that we will not succumb as Peter did. Peter denied Jesus and although there was forgiveness it went down to history. Peter cried bitterly because of what happened, there was an accusation and consequences. When we are not sober, in our liberties the devil takes advantage and will always be accusing us. When we fall there are big problems. We must avoid this. We are placed in God’s work and we can see our limitations. God created a path for you, open your eyes and don't open any doors to Satan. If we are not sober the devil will go and accuse us and the angels will write about us. Judgment comes to the earth by God, not from the devil.

Jesus comes to deliver us from those judgments. We are God’s work; we are his joy and not his shame. For this reason we have to be sober and be vigilant. Genesis 3:3, 4 Eve knew who God was. We should know who God is. If God says no, it’s no. And if He says yes, it is yes. When He says no it is because it is not right for us. Keep your eyes open! Because the devil walks disguised! It was best for Eve to know good, she didn’t have the need to know evil. She sinned and learned evilness and suffered when her son Cain killed Abel. The devil was already sifting the work of God. Adam embarrassed what was sacred. Eve allowed Satan to make fun of God by throwing away the perfection of the creation in a matter of seconds. The devil accused them before the Father, they saw that they were naked and they became embarrassed. The same happens to us when we fall. If we are in God, the enemy will always be against us. If we allow ourselves to be tempted it is because we have not been sober obeying what the Scriptures says. The enemy of our souls knows what is prepared for us. We are the work of God; let us not open any doors to Satan. If the enemy makes us fall it is because we are playing with temptation and he will accuse us before God. Job was a working man, a warrior. So in him there was a lot of effort and courage, he was a compassionate and righteous man. The protection of God over Job bothered Satan so he went before God and accused him of being a hypocrite. But, God always defended him. Besides, Job humbled himself completely before God. The scabies that was brought upon him was to kill him, but Job had not sinned. The devil accused him and all his children died. It is God who gives life and who takes life. Job was left with nothing. In spite of the malignant scabies he demonstrated that he loved God, without hypocrisy, and for this reason he was able to survive. We must not let the devil drive our flesh to temptation. Job loved God more than anything he could possess. The devil envies what God has for us because he will not be able to go to Heaven or have eternal life. Of course it depends on us, if we are vigilant or if we allow temptation to defeat us. Job conquered, he didn't embarrass the name of God but rather exalted the name of God. How do you battle to persist in the love of God whom saved you? Zechariah 3:1 The devil is always ready to accuse us and we cannot be living the life of God taking it easy. Joshua was the high priest and the devil was there to accuse him. Satan has never stopped his accusations against the people of God. The eyes of Jehovah are always upon the earth seeking to bless the righteous while the devil is there to accuse. We are in the same place. We have to win the race. Revelation 12:10 The devil’s accusations will end, but not yet. It does not please God for the devil to accuse us. His day will end when Michael fights against him. The demons live in disturbance and Jehovah watches over us day and night, He takes care of all of us. You won't fall if you pray and never stop to congregate. Let us move forward. Amen.
