What we don’t watch over, what we don’t take care of will die

TOPIC: “What we don’t watch over, what we don’t take care of will die” Revelation 3:2 If there is something we should learn is to serve. The Lord is who guides and directs the church; He takes care of the church and exalts it. We must be vigilant of our deeds. The internal condition of the church is not hidden to the Lord, because He knows everything. Jesus knows well the process of our church, Mega Zoe, more than anyone. The Church has been established because Jesus came to establish it. Jesus ordained everything that concerns the Church. Only God knows to perfection everything about our lives, He knows how things really are, because it is He who organized everything. We are the redeemed. He is extremely aware of what each one of us goes through. God is the only one who has every right over the Church. What we do not watch over, what we don’t take care of will die and after this happens things begin to change, and our spirits begin to decay. A dead church is not much of a problem for anyone, but a church that is alive is a problem for many. If we are alive we will cause problems wherever we go, especially for those who oppose us. We must open our eyes! Those who are spiritually dead will not rise to Heaven. Let us be watchful, let us open our eyes. When we can’t see what we need to correct in our lives there is no fight, one doesn't work and then we don’t cause anybody problems, and we don’t learn either. Those who do not maintain the life of God in them is because they are not vigilant, they live in pure silence. When the Church is alive it will always be under attack. The Church of Sardis was so dead that it was worthless to attack it. Luke 6:26 Oh! When people speak well about us! We are the church of the Lord who must remain constantly watching over. The church of Sardis was so dead because they were negligent and for this reason it was not worthwhile to speak anything of her. A church that is alive will always live under attack. We must be good watchers, because the day that we are not attacked it is because we have gone to sleep. When the church begins to snooze heresy begins to take place. The heretics come to church to deviate the Word of God. A heretic is the one who tries to change and makes madness with the word of God. 2 Kings 10:31 Jehu didn't watch over his walk, he neglected his life. Watching over is not easy because we have to be continually checking everything. God chooses courageous and determined men. We face all kinds of situations because we are not cowards. When we stop watching over we don't say it with our mouth but with our acts. Those who watch over have to face the consequences of what they are watching over. Those who are vigilant, fight for a reason, to acquire a victory, and not for whatever comes along. Things have to come out such as they are because a good watchman is vigilant. Jehu didn't watch over his heart, for such reason he didn't pay attention to what God spoke to him. 2 Kings 13:14 Elisha was sick, but he never stopped being vigilant. Jehoash had to receive from Elisha when he was teaching him. God had already spoken to the prophet, then he was supposed to take the law, he should have already acquired faith and wisdom. The king was supposed to be capable of understanding what the prophet told him. The failure comes when we are not vigilant and we let our soul intervenes before God’s purpose. Elisha continued to be vigilant in spite that he was soon to die. It is not a question of youth and strength but of being vigilant. Elisha’s hands rested on the king so that he would have victory in all his life. It seems that human beings don’t like to be vigilant. Elisha could see little enthusiasm in the king. Being vigilant is much better than crying in a corner; let us be constantly watching over. We should be occupied doing what God wants. Isaiah 43:43 When we stop being vigilant it is because we get tired of God. At the same time that we get tired of God the problems begin because God doesn't listen to us. We

should always be vigilant and not only when we have problems. A constant surveillance is the price of the freedom and of the salvation. Watch and pray. Romans 3:13 It is time for us to wake up and know the times. There is nothing better than to recognize the times. We must not remain sleeping. Mega Zoe should remain always on alert. The devil puts many traps and we have to watch over. The devil likes to put us to sleep. He is constantly working so that we will fall asleep. The church is an army and we have to see, to be vigilant. When the devil is scheming against us the church cannot be sleeping. We can descend with the power of God when we watch over. The enemy comes to destroy and the brave must not fall asleep. When we are at war, the one that watches over is in position observing everything. If the army becomes careless the devil will take advantage. We are constantly attacked by diabolical powers that come against us. He wants to keep us away from our Lord Jesus. Often they are subtle attacks, then, for this reason we have to always stay in a state of alert. The devil always wants to bring us temptation; he is watching to see if we stop to watch to attack us. If we fail to watch we will fall. Temptation separates us from Christ. We must always be vigilant form all the temptation that surrounds us. We will receive what we have worked for. The more we take care of ourselves the less we will fall into temptation. A person who is vigilant will be in alert constantly. Mathew 24:22, Acts 20:29 We must be careful because even in church there are some perverse people who only want to make disciples fall. We must be vigilant. A believer that is vigilant can deliver others; can take the disciples out of Satan’s hands. The elders must take care of the church. We must not be afraid. What we don’t fix here one day we will have to be accountable for it before God. Although we are waiting for Jesus’ return He is constantly watching over us. Jesus has never lost the believers from his sight. Jesus said to the church of Sardis that their works were not perfect before the Father. Jesus expects something from us. There is a destiny written for us even before the foundation of the earth. Our tomorrow has been prepared; this is the reason why we are being watched. We come to Jesus looking for strength, for His help, for His consolation; then, He expects from us loyalty, love and our service to Him. He expects us to do what corresponds to each one of us. What we must do is in our hands. We warn others, we are vigilant and we protect. There are promises for those who are faithful. They will be given white garments. When we are victorious we will be dressed in white. Let us be vigilant and let us affirm the things that are dying in us. We let things die in us little by little. We must turn into good soldiers. How did our life begin? In church we start many things, but we let them die. The church is more than just a refuge; it is a place where men and women are vigilant. We must not let things die because then we will begin to loose each day. We must revive what is falling apart from our lives and maintain ourselves constantly vigilant, this is how we will win our souls and the souls of others. Amen.
