TOPIC: “I will not forget The Miracles of God and My Faith will remain and will grow” Mark 8:11-21 Many doubt even after seeing miracles; they do not depend on the faith they once had. Human beings forget what God has done easily; these are things that should not be forgotten. Jesus had multiplied 7 loaves of bread feeding 4,000 people. Not very long before he did the same thing with 5 loaves of bread and fed another 5,000 people. Mark 8:19, 20 These were great miracles for the multitudes and the disciples. But then, some of those who saw this doubted of Jesus. We should always have in our memory the miracles and the greatness that God performs in our lives so that our faith will never decay but rather it remain and continue growing. The Lord has always been taking care of us and assisting us in all our needs. As he worried and fed the multitude that followed him, in the same way He worries for all our things also. Mark 8:1-3 When we see God perform miracles, let us always celebrate that moment. Some people on the contrary, as time goes by, they erase these memories in their mind, all that God has done for them is no longer in their hearts. When we forget in our mind it is because it is no longer in our hearts. Because when the heart is focused on vain things the important things that God has done are not remembered. The complaints come when there are difficulties because they were not grateful and the faith has vanished. When we are struggling we must remember with freshness from our heart the grateful moments when we were delivered by God. We have to conserve through the years all good memories of the works and miracles of God. In this way the faith will never die and God’s power will never diminish in our lives. Mark 7:21 From the heart of men come bad thoughts, wickedness, deceit, nonsense, etc. One must not neglect the enemy. If in our hearts there would be good things, good memories of what God has done, then there would not be any wickedness in us. As long as we always remember with gratefulness the works of God, we will always believe that God is willing to do on our behalf. We cannot do it by ourselves. Mark 8:16, 17 For the disciples the spiritual things in which Jesus moved and manifested were difficult to them. He wanted to teach them to be spiritual men and not earthly or carnal men. Humans are accustomed to the earthly things and to developing the astuteness of this world and no sensibility to the things that are of the Spirit of God. Jesus was already in His third year of teaching openly, they were constantly seeing His miracles, but they could not understand in this occasion. It is difficult for us to understand what comes from God. We must stop looking at earthly things so that we will be able to see what comes from God. We should understand and be spiritual people to know Heaven, the mysteries, the future and the favor of God. It is in us to be or not to be spiritual. We should not be carnal in any way, the flesh harms. Romans 8:5, 6 If there is something we should be interested in is to learn how to walk with God in communion with the Holy Spirit and how to understand Him. The multitude that ate bread and fish products of the miracle of the Lord were not compelled to leave. But, Jesus left to the mount to pray to the Father. He wanted to speak with the Holy, the Sovereign; he wanted to feel the Father. For this reason, we as the Master should yearn to pray because we go to the pure, to the Sovereign, to the only one who can work on our behalf. Jesus loved the place where He prayed, He prayed alone. While He left His disciples to pray, they returned to the boat and their voyage turned into a very difficulty one. Mark 6:46-48 They were very frightened

and they got tired, and this happens to us, we get tired, our strength is gone, the good words, etc. In the great difficulties, in dangers we must provoke Jesus to come and perform the miracles that we need in that moment. This road is not the easiest, it is not wide or comfortable, and it is narrow. We entered to a spiritual world and we chose the narrow and uncomfortable road. This is how the wise decide. The disciples needed a miracle. Only Jesus can deliver us from great dangers. They got tired, they were filled with terror. In the same way we get tired. Jesus was not there, He had left to pray, but He was not going to allow His disciples to perish. He will never allow us to perish. Jesus brought us toward Him not so that we would perish but so that we would have an abundant life. The wind was against them and Jesus saw them in the darkness. From a long distance He saw their boat staggering. Jesus wants us to ask Him and tell him when we are in great dangers. We must be brave to tell Jesus to look at us in the darkness and work in our hearts. Then we accumulate God’s greatness in our hearts. The heart becomes foolish, it gets upset with a dull mind, after seeing the miracles of the loaves of bread they forgot that this was Christ who healed that fed the multitudes and that He walked upon the waters. They thought He was a ghost. Mark 6:49 The lack of faith produces hardness in our heart. They could not understand. We could have spent 10 years in the Lord and not understand if we don't accumulate in our heart the good things that God has done. Let us accumulate as our treasure what Jesus has done. What happens is that none of Jesus' miracles were an exhibition but because of His compassion and love. If we come to view a spectacle, the greatness, etc. we become confused and we cannot see Jesus. As long as we follow the steps of Jesus our eyes and ears are filled with faith, then we accumulate in our heart what God does. They didn't receive it as they should have received it, they could not see or understand the spiritual things. Let us seek to understand and speak what is spiritual. Mark 8:17 Jesus mind was clear, their mind was not. Jesus warned His disciples, He reminded them of the conversations that He had with them, and He wanted to clarify to them not to follow Pharisees or their rituals. We must not be confused by those who want to see signs and are hypocrites, which yeast that so quietly can harm any disciple. We must be careful of the yeast. When Jesus speaks we must not have a hardened heart. Let us believe the Lord for His miracles and works that we have seen in our lives and in the lives of our family in the faith. For this reason, I will never forget His works, my faith in Christ will remain and will strengthen and I will continue seeing His power and blessing upon me. Amen.
