Let us remove all vengeance, love and live in peace

TOPIC: “Let us remove all vengeance, love and live in peace” Mathew 5:38-48 We must be seen as children who belong to our Father in Heaven. A false tongue can destroy the lives of others. Proverbs 26:28 This is very dangerous for anyone, because a believer’s heart can be hardened and it would be the worst thing for their lives. There is life in our hearts, but if we have our enemies present in our hearts we will be conserving a desire for vengeance, make them pay back what they have done to us. Now that we are children of God, this is not for us. Neither should we use of a false tongue that says and says and doesn't get tired. When a Christian is going through a bad situation, if he begins to search for many arguments to justify himself, and accuses others or tries to pay back in the same way, what he is doing is removing from his own life the knowledge of Christ. The Bible says that we must love and not try to return evil for evil. This is what our Master and Lord Jesus has taught us. But many are always returning according to what they have received, if they are loved, they will love but if they are not loved, they don’t want to love. We must take care of our hearts. Each one of us must be responsible and watch ourselves in order to not fall in this mistake. A false tongue can hurt terribly! When it begins to speak it speaks falsehood and does so much damage. A false tongue torments the mind and when a man is tormented he begins to look for arguments to take revenge. If we don't love, we should not do anything in Gods work because we will do it merely to comply and whatever we do just to comply will not be please God or men. We must love, that is the first thing. Nobody deserves to be tormented with words. When somebody is tormented by something that some one said, he begins to grow resented and that root turns into bitterness, in hate, in a struggle. There are things that we hear from others that we should not pay attention to, or take it into our thoughts because then it will become hatred. We cannot be spokesmen of Satan. The least the Father wants is for us to walk away from His will. If we allow ourselves to be tormented because of what was said of us, the Father's will stops and then we are not good representatives of his will in this world. Sometimes we stop loving because we seek for many reasons and arguments that seem justified, but Jesus said that if some one slaps us in a cheek, to put the other cheek also.

Roman 5:12 We have all sinned and we are here just because of the Father's kindness who forgave us, saved us and left His mind (the Bible) so that we will walk as He wants us to walk. We must not do wrong as it has been done to us for this will not please God. We should not keep rancor because the heart becomes bitter. Bitterness is conserved inside the heart and roots will grow. We sometimes pay more attention to the false tongue than to prayer. If we walk away from our brother we also walk away from the Lord. Let us not take justice in our own hands but leave it to God because He is righteous and He will do justice. Roman 12:19 No person that has a heart full with bitterness can help, or preach. The only one who will work with us always is God because He is Omnipresent, He is in all the places and He is faithful to answer us according to our necessity and responds to our prayers. Nothing in this world can make us rebellious, there is no reason. We should walk in peace. Humiliation doesn't make us less in our lives, but rather it makes us meeker and brings us closer to God. If we allow the false tongue to torment us, this will bring evil to all. It is necessary to take care of our brothers and sisters in Christ and not harm them. Let us not allow the false tongue to torment us and hurt us. When we are hurt we do not care about others and in this way we cannot be used by the Father. We must be as our Father, he is our guide to live with others, because we are the church and we must do the Father's will. It is time to love and that is what we must do because we have been loved so much; let us comply with the law of love. We cannot hurt others just because we have been hurt first. Sometimes, when we are hurt we open our mouth to attack and we make a great deal, as if we also had to hurt back. Let us stop all this by loving, and resisting. Let us not say anything with anger because we will do harm. We have the law of love and it is a good and perfect law. When the tongue responds with evilness there is where great problems begin, because we walk away from those whom have loved us. We must be people of peace. 1 Thessalonians 5:12, 13 We must allow to let things go before attacking. Gods request from us is this: that whoever slaps us on the right cheek we must turn the other cheek to him also, and those who ask for the tunic, also gives him the cloak, and to those who ask from us we must give. That is His law of love, let us comply with it.

We must promote peace in our lives and in those who surround us. It does not mean that we ignore things, but all we do must be done in peace. We must produce peace because we are in peace with all. When we put the other cheek we are avoiding to fight. It is necessary to avoid fighting and to bring peace. Those who are arrogant and vengeful laugh and make fun of us, but those who are balanced and wise appreciate us and honor us. Let us be Jesus' genuine followers. Mathew 5:9 Sometimes giving or sharing with others of material things is very difficult because men cling and become attached to what is physical. Let us give with joy, let us give the best, let us give when we should give. Sometimes we try so much to take care of ourselves that we fail to help others and let hunger pass. Let us not live so much for ourselves, and those who ask from us the tunic also give him the cloak. To those who ask from us we give and to those who borrow from us, let us lend. We should be generous. If we want to be right with God we must run the second mile. Mathew 5:40, 41 We must not be cold with people, let us do well. Let us be thankful for all that God has given us. The Church is to serve. We sometimes have to forget so much pride, because it seems that we are not capable of giving and that is how we destroy what God wants to do through us. If we are to do something we must do it well. Let us do it with passion. A Church has to be generous. There can not be misery in us. Love should reign in our hearts. In order to be in Heaven we have to demonstrate here on Earth, in Church and everywhere we stand that we are the children of our beloved and perfect Father. Amen.
