TOPIC: “I will seek sensibility and I will be careful not to lose it” Mark 16:14-20 It is up to each one of us to seek and improve. No one is capable of entering and restoring anyone’s life. We have so many limitations to do the other’s work. As years go by, time, days, all these condition our lives, suffocating what we have from God. That is how we lose sensibility. People stop believing, and the faith and love for God’s work decreases. Be very careful! Fear is something that could shake us, but if we pray and read the Bible, then we do not attach ourselves to anything that may produce fear. Our heart is been slowly enwrapped by this world; we get attached and it enwraps us excessively with everything that surrounds us. Many things can occupy more of our time that we should give God. It could be a problem, something from our present, something of what we live daily. As the days go by we must be careful because those things enwrap us and we can not do what we are supposed to. We must be determined, but we become weak-spirited in our lives with the Lord instead. A kingdom has been given to us and we have to see that we do not weaken, but grow and strengthen more. All that was a success to the disciples became nothing. They were walking with Jesus; they saw His power manifested and all of the sudden it became as nothing had happened. Jesus reprimands them for their incredulity and hardness of heart. All of a sudden the God who was walking with them died. That was not a reason for them to stop believing immediately, and then, how careful do we have to be not to be enwrapped by this world! The disciples had seen Jesus, but we believe by faith. Jesus let them see who He was, and in the middle of their panic, He reproached them their incredulity (Verse 11). The disciples did not believe Him. When Mary came to them, then Jesus reprimanded them. They left their sensibility. We must be careful because what surrounds us comes to take away our sensibility. How much we have to battle to not lose our sensibility! Because we stop believing, we act with our natural cleverness, and our hearts become hardened. When we lose our sensibility we look for advice and make a spectacle of it, instead of seeking God. When we are in great battles and see that Jesus’ life in us has been asphyxiating, we should run towards His Word because it has the truth. Those who stop believing need to be reprimanded, because what the Word says is fulfilled. The more we seek about Jesus in the Word and in prayer, the less we will feel lukewarm. Why do we leave space for temptation so much, instead of reading the Bible? The world asphyxiates us, so the reprimand comes, because we stop believing, we lose sensibility and start to have spiritual ambitions that are pure spectacle. A church is raised little by little. While the disciples were in such great tragedy, what God wanted was for them to consecrate themselves, to take the Gospel throughout the world and to be careful of this earth’s vanity. We should never believe that we have made an excessive effort for Jesus. We will never be good disciples if we believe that we have worked excessively for the Lord. Sometimes, when we get sick, we lose our sensibility. It is necessary to know that Jesus is there and that soon we will join our Beloved, who gave His life for us. We are not after ministries, because what is going to happen will arrive. When our loved ones need liberation, how deep is our sensibility, our search? Do not walk after miracles, because these are going to happen according to the necessity. Wherever we go there are necessities, and who supplies them if not us? Are we capable of praying or do we stop believing and lose our sensibility? If we have a heart full of sensibility towards God, we will do to liberate the sick and pray for them. Sometimes we forget that there are great manifestations which God wants to do in Jesus’ name and the Holy Spirit who does the work. That is why we must have communion with Him, so He can work. We must understand that wherever we move, something must happen; and that there are things that must be done, and we are the ones to make them happen. Acts 28:3-9 Paul was bitten by a viper and he did not think that it was God’s judgments, but that bite helped him to preach the Gospel instead, because the people there opened their hearts. The world is

asphyxiating the churches. Paul did not have anything from this world, nothing had asphyxiated him. We are in this world to satisfy the necessity there is wherever we are. There is a God who called us so we can cast demons in His name, speak new tongues, etc., but we must be filled with sensibility, to love so people can be liberated, and healed. We are willing to die because we love, and be sensible so miracles can happen. Let us not look at this Gospel for our own vanity. This Gospel is not for personal success, but to believe in God, sanctify ourselves and die to this world; but for that you should be able to die for it. But what people like is what appears to be great. We must do what God wants because we honor our Lord Jesus in that way. Acts 16:6 Something we should know is that we are useful at the right moment. There is a need for sensible men and women to carry the benefit of the cross. But we have to be prepared believing that He wants to do things through us by being consecrated disciples and not considering any sacrifice to be too excessive for Him. We are in our time, and we should love our time, be willing to do and the only way that we could do it is by loving. The Lord is who helps us, so nothing should go wrong. There is no one else who could help us, but the Lord. Jesus will never stop helping us. That’s why we should be careful, because the world wants to enwrap us and tell us what we should do. For Jesus to help us we must be His. He places his love in our hearts. Luke 24:52 The disciples worshipped Jesus and they left with great joy. They learned that those who have been called can not be conditioned by the world, but they have to love the one who called them. If He called us, let us learn to worship Him and to not live conditioned by this world with complaints and regrets. The disciples had passion for the One who called them. When the time comes for us to be divided and spread, it will be manifested that it is necessary for the sick to be healed, for the possessed by the devil to be free and for the same things that happened to Paul, be fulfilled. Do not think of how great our problem is, worship Him, love Him and He will be the One who will help us always. Amen.
