To know God

"To know God" – (Job 41:11) We must distinguish, know, understand, find out, inform ourselves, and understand who God is. It is having the set of information stored through experience or learning (acquisition of knowledge through study, effort to understand and learn) and what we have learned for days, years and everything we have lived in Him. Then we come to understanding ("Now my eyes see you" Job 42:4-6), which is the human capacity for understanding, assimilation (understanding, even incorporating everything into life) and what is the procedure (according to reason, convenience) of information and we can come to the conclusion (finish, end) of who God is.

I. "If ye will hearken unto My voice."

A. "You shall keep My covenant."

1. The sovereign dominion and independence of God who is not indebted to any of His creatures is here. "Who has given Me first for Me to restore (give back)?"

2. To whom have I been bound by services that he has already rendered Me?

3. That He is the sovereign owner of all that exists; "all that is under heaven is Mine."

4. (Exodus 19:5) If we listen to Him and can keep His covenant, then you are "a special treasure" over the whole world.

5. We must heed His voice and keep His covenant.

6. These people had been saved by Him, it is natural that He insisted that they were to be governed by Him.

7. He assures them of the honor they have bestowed and of the kindness (compassionate, good) He will show them if they are attentive to His covenant.

8. "You shall be My special treasure," (a) God asserts His sovereignty over His property in all visible creation. "Mine is all the earth."

9. (Deuteronomy 32:6) "Thus do ye repay the Lord, you foolish and ignorant people?"

10. (5) The corruption of the people is not His, none of the sins of the people can be blamed on God, they have corrupted themselves. He is holy in all His proceedings.

11. Of His children is the stain.

12. That the children of God have their stains as they wander through the wilderness of this life.

13. (6) He thus reminds them of the obligations that God has imposed on them to serve and follow Him, since He had been a true Father to them. Will it be like this, brother, for you?!

14. Listen Church of Christ: And aren't our obligations, as baptized believers, as great or greater to our Creator who made us, to our Redeemer who "bought" us, and to our Sanctifier who has established us into eternal life, regenerated us (given new being to something that has degenerated), and dwells in us?

15. (Ezekiel 18:4) God also declares His absolute sovereignty over every living thing; "behold, all souls are Mine."

16. He has such love for every soul that no one will die except through his own fault.

17. Sin is an act of the soul (the body is only an obedient servant that is neutral in itself) therefore the punishment of sin is tribulation and anguish upon the whole soul.

18. (Romans 14:8) Brother: "we no longer live nor die to ourselves, but to the Lord to whom we belong."

19. (7) We no longer live or die to ourselves, but to the Lord to whom we belong.

20. If someone asks, "Does it depend on us to die in order for us to offer it to God?"

21. Nor does it depend on us to live.

22. Nor does it depend on us to live, but just as the way in which we receive death depends on us, for both life and death are at our disposal.

23. Who is our Master and Lord, both in life and in death; if we are alive, He can sleep in our fragile boat (small boat) (how safe it is to take Him on board!); if we are dead, we are the ones who sleep on His lap.

24. (Psalm 24:1) The earth is not man's, he is but an occupant, one who rents insecurely and who can be evicted at any time.

25. The true Great Landowner has His seat above the clouds and laughs at the deeds and titles of sale of the dust worms.

26. The earth is full of God; He filled it and keeps it full despite the requirements and abuses of living creatures on their reserves.

27. The sea is full despite the clouds that rise above it; the soil is full, although thousands of plants derive their nutrition from it.

28. The earth is Jehovah's, that is, Christ's, who is Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16); for the whole world and all things in it are His by the double title; (Matthew 28:18) "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth"; second, the earth is Christ's (John 1:3) all things were made through Him and without Him nothing that was made was made.
