Holding on to growth

"Holding on to growth" – Ephesians 4:15-16 How much you desire to have growth of Christ, is your attachment to Him. When you unite yourself to Him, you let Christ be seen in your body, your walk and how you live. Truth in love, let us grow in all things into Him who is the head, that is, Christ. Brethren, let us live clinging to the truth... There must be a right spirit: holding on to the truth in love.

I. Following the truth.

A. Truth is the element in which we must live; to move and to be.

1. But truth must be firm, strong, solid united with love.

2. While the gifts equip the saints and the saints "devote themselves to active service, they "grow up" "in all things toward Christ."

3. Christ is the goal and objective of growth; He is in everything.

4. In every area of your life, you become more like Him.

5. According to the "Head" He carries out His purposes in the church; His Body will give a more accurate presentation of Him to the world.

6. (Ephesians 4:16) The Lord Jesus is not just the goal of growth.

7. He is also the source of this growth.

8. It is from Him that 'the whole body' is involved in the process of growth."

9. The wonderful integration of the members of the Body is described by the phrase "well concerted and united with each other": "Well-adjusted and worked" with each other.

10. This means that each member is exactly designed for its own "place" and "function" and perfectly adjusted to each member, so that it constitutes a complete living organism (organs).

11. The importance of each limb, even more, how indispensable each of them is, is indicated below: well-adjusted and interlocked by all the joints that help each other; "These times are unfortunate; how much hatred, evil."

12. The human body is composed primarily of bones, organs, and flesh.

13. Bones are linked by joints and ligaments.

14. Each joint and ligament plays a role in the growth and usefulness of the body.

15. Tell me what is your usefulness in the body?

16. So, in "the body of Christ."

17. No member is superficial.

18. If you are superficial (external, apparent) you carry nothing, but nothing of Christ in unity, you have remained dead in the body (to unite one thing with another, to give them greater strength or resistance).

19. The humblest believer is necessary.

20. As each believer fulfills his or her proper role, "the body" grows as a harmonious unity (agreeable or adequate; it is in harmony with others; one mind, may there be one spirit

among you brethren, may you be compassionate, fraternal, merciful to one another, "rather than spending time together, (it is always to be in a delightful union) and wellarticulated = prudent, clear and frank.

21. In a very real sense, "the body causes its growth."

22. The church, the body of Christ, has its growth united.

23. I think it is complicated for so much independence, the absence of love, of dedication, seems difficult or impossible.

24. This means that "growth" is stimulated (active in its function, encouraged) by "the body" itself, as believers feed on the Bible.

25. First, you don't read the Bible; Second: today there is little friendship between one and the other, everyone seeks only their material own, not the spiritual.

26. They do not engage in prayer, worship, and testimony (witnessing, declaration, telling) for Christ.

27. In addition to the growth in size, there is an edification in love.

28. This speaks of the mutual interest of the members in one another.

29. Nowadays we eat each other by the elbows; (because of hatred, strife, gossip, infidelity).

30. Oh, Jesus, what a failure!

31. Lack of growth is the presence of hatred and strife.

32. Where there was supposedly love, what radiates (spreading, propagating, transmitting) is hatred to the point of desiring death and absence of the growth of love in the body of Christ, it is supposedly the Church.

33. As Christians abide in Christ and fulfill their righteous role in the church, they "grow more toward one another 'in love and unity.'

34. If this is not the case, what grows is hatred for the church, then what there is, is a tear, one is no longer united, which is growth in love, now there is a broken bone, torn muscle or tendon or broken bone and great pain because growth has broken and fainted (fainting, get tired) love. Amen
