Accept Who God Is

"Accept Who God Is" - Psalm 116:1 I love the Lord. We must all be able to testify without the slightest hesitation. The law commands: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind, but it was never obtained in the heart of man. When God's grace comes and under the principles of the gospel, it is possible.

I. I love the Lord.

A. The greatest of grace and the surest of all the evidence of salvation is love.

1. I have accepted God into my life: without limits, without reservations, just as He is in His glory, holiness, what He demands of me, in what I have had to overcome in my flesh, in my thoughts, and in what I want, especially in my flesh.

2. He has heard the voice of my supplications, my voice and my pleas.

3. That He hears us is a great favor from God, who may well be considered as His beloved son, the one to whom He listens.

4. The fact that His hearing is always active (produces immediate effect, lots of energy and activity, fast) and for the purpose of helping.

5. If He hears my voice, I can be sure that He wants to grant my plea.

6. (Psalm 18:1) My strength.

7. I cannot resist, accept, suffer, endure, hold, tolerate God.

8. Our flesh wants to resist, it doesn't want to suffer, it doesn't want to endure the existence of God's greatness.

9. I love thee, O Jehovah my strength.

10. God has given Himself to my life as my strength.

11. I can endure strength, vigor, firmness, face with courage without leaving aside the reason that allows you to act under certain principles, this is God with our lives, defense of a nation, square, region, this is God.

12. I will love you with all my heart, with my entrails.

13. Our triune God deserves the most fervid (ardent, fervent) love of our hearts.

14. God has given Himself, so to speak, to His believers.

15. (Psalm 42:1) David was not looking for comforts; "he did not sigh for honors," "but the enjoyment of communion with God was a vital necessity to his soul."

16. He regarded it not merely as the sweetest of all privileges, but as an absolute necessity, "like water to the deer."

17. Give him his God and he is content, like a deer that at last quenches its thirst and is perfectly satisfied; but deny him his Lord, and his heart pants, his bosom beats, he shudders as one who is short of breath after a race.

18. (Psalm 73:25) He searches for his Beloved everywhere, objects and events.

19. If he finds him, who is happier than him?

20. If he can't find him, who is more heartbroken?

21. Ah! Lord Jesus, You are the best of friends, You are the object of my love; my soul seeks you; My heart longs for you.

22. What do I care for the world with all its pleasures and pomp, its power and glory, unless "You are in it?

23. (Psalm 84:2) My heart and my flesh sing to the living God.

24. Some have to be dragged to church, while David is crying out for her.

25. He did not need bells to ring from the steeple to induce him to go to church; He carried the bell on his own chest: "The holy appetite is a better call to worship" than the calls of bells.

28. (Hebrews 6:10) Two of the things that bring with them (bringing, carrying) salvation are manifested in the lives of the saints—their "work" and their "labor of love."

29. The "faith" they had was manifested in "a life of good works and had the stamp of true Christianity," an active "love" for the family of faith.

30. They continued to serve the Lord's people for His sake.

31. On the contrary, today good works are not one's own, they are the desires of the flesh: pleasures, hatred, strife, enmities, etc.

32. (1 John 4:19) We love Him, because He loved us first.

33. The only reason we can "love" is because He loved us first.

34. The Ten Commandments command one to love God and neighbor, but the law could not produce this love.

35. How, then, could God obtain this love that "His righteousness" demanded?

36. He solved the problem by sending His Son to die for us.

37. Such a wonderful love draws our hearts to Him in response.

38. We say, "You shed Your blood and died for me"; From now on I will live for You.

39. Break free, confessing and making this decision today and forever. Amen.
