Fear not:The Lord Jesus will be "all glory on earth"

Fear not: The Lord Jesus will be "all glory on earth" - Exodus14:13 Complaining and gossiping is silenced when one ceases to fear. When "we cannot get out of a hurry", overcome our fear, so that the rush serves as a stimulus; Remove the weaknesses in our prayer and efforts, and may not prevail against our faith and our hope. Wait on Jehovah, for He will do His work on our behalf.

I. (Isaiah 41:13) For I Jehovah am your God.

A. Who holds you (holds firm) your right hand.

1. God is clear with our lives: Fear not, I help you.

2. Put the means to achieve what you need.

3. As God's people we must wait for God's timing.

4. Enemies will be convinced "of folly" to contend with God's people.

5. They will crash against the righteousness and power of God.

6. (Mark 2:3-5) A paralytic who had to open the roof and lower the man before Jesus.

7. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Take courage, son; Your sins are forgiven.

8. Notice that He saw their faith.

9. Faith led those men to bring the invalid to Jesus, and the faith of the invalid went to Jesus for healing.

10. (Matthew 14:27) Have courage (strength, or energy, attitude, disposition): they heard the reassuring voice of their Master and Friend: Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.

11. Stop shaking; as cowards and distrustful.

12. (Matthew 17:6-8) Stunned by the "cloud of glory" and by the voice of God, the disciples "fell down on their faces."

13. But Jesus told them to get up, "Do not be afraid."

14. And when they got up, they "saw no one but Jesus alone."

15. And so it will be in the Kingdom: "The Lord Jesus will be all glory in the land of Immanuel."

16. (Acts 23:11) Take heart, Paul.

17. "The next night" the Lord Jesus personally appeared to Paul in prison and said: Have courage (effort, courage, energy, will) Paul, for as you testified of Me in Jerusalem, so it is necessary that you testify also in Rome.

18. It is remarkable (outstanding) that in a passage in which the apostle's actions have been the subject of harsh criticism, "the Lord" praises him, extols him personally for having given a faithful testimony in Jerusalem.

19. There is not a word of criticism or "rebuke from the Savior."

20. Rather, it is a message of "unconditional praise" and promise.

21. Paul's service was not yet over.

22. Just as he had been faithful in his ministry in 'Jerusalem,' he would also bear witness in Rome."

23. (Acts 27:22-24) Paul assures them that although the "ship" would be lost, "there would be no loss of life among them." How did he know?

24. "An angel of the Lord" had "appeared" to him that night, "assuring him that he would appear "before Caesar" in Rome.

25. Heaven becomes close to the seeker.

26. God had "granted" to the apostle all who "sailed with him," in every sense that they too would be "preserved." Therefore, they had to take courage.

27. Paul believed that everyone would be fine, "even if they run aground on a certain island, the ship is 'lost'.

28. God gives us encouragement.

29. Jesus comforts us: do you need comfort?

30. (Matthew 9:22) Have courage, daughter (courage, energy, will); "Your faith has saved you."

31. Faith does everything we need in life: meet Jesus, this is how faith begins.

32. Medical science had proved incapable of helping this woman; In fact, it was getting worse. (Mark 5:26)

33. In the extreme of her need she met Jesus or at least saw Him surrounded by a crowd.

34. When I came to Jesus I was surrounded by a crowd, which would not let me reach Him, they were better than me.

35. Believing that He could heal her and was willing to do so, she passed (that is the daring to do, and that is faith, to approach Him) through the crowd and "touched the hem of His garment."

36. He never fails to observe true faith.

37. He turned and pronounced her healed; In the act "the woman was healed for the first time in twelve years.

38. (Luke 7:13) Jesus had compassion on her.

39. It was the burial of the only son of his mother... widow.

40. The Lord was moved to compassion upon the bereaved mother.

41. Jesus ordered the young man to get up, immediately brought the corpse back to life, and the boy sat up.

42. He restored the boy to "his mother" and comforted her.

43. (John 16:33) Jesus tells them to have peace.

44. When they were hated, persecuted, tortured they could have peace in Him.

45. He overcame "the world" on the "cross of Calvary."

46. Despite their tribulations, they could be certain that they were on the side of the victor.

47. Furthermore, brother, with the coming of the Holy Spirit we would have new capacities for resistance and "a new courage to face the enemy". Amen.
