Obeying the Voice of God -Exodus 24:7 In Psalm 51:12 it says, And grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Let there be a righteous spirit within me. When our spirit is noble and upright it leads us, sustains us (sustains, endures, supports, feeds), we brighten our lives, we stay away from struggles and strife. We accept our mistakes and look for solutions not problems, we take our heart away from doing so.

I. If we have a righteous spirit then we will obey.

A. We must renew a righteous spirit within our lives. (Exodus 24:7)

1. Obeying is in our regular commands.

2. Moses has to lead a crowd that had been slaved; and now he had to take them to fulfill what God had said and obey Him.

3. They were the commandments, the annual feasts, and many laws of order as a people.

4. (Numbers 27:20) Joshua is to be set apart so that the people will obey his voice.

5. Moses had to carry him: You shall put your dignity upon him, that the children of Israel might obey him.

6. Not to compare him but to obey him.

7. Moses was to confer (grant, authority, dignity = that he asserts himself as a person, behaves with responsibility, seriousness and respect towards himself and others and does not allow himself to be humiliated or degraded) publicly to Joshua honor and dignity, so that when the people saw how Moses honored him, they would feel more obliged to honor him also and "obey him".

8. Moses' superiority over Joshua is evident from verse 21, for Joshua is to consult God through Eleazar.

9. Moses, however, spoke to God "face to face."

10. Joshua was to have Eleazar, the high priest, as a private counselor from God, with his breastplate of judgment.

11. (Deuteronomy 28:62) The consequences of disobedience.

12. Do not obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

13. That a great multitude of them would perish, so that few would remain in number.

14. He who does not obey by himself is uprooted and scarce in everything.

15. (Deuteronomy 30:10) When you obey the voice of Jehovah, your God.

16. Be able to keep His commandments and His statutes already written.

17. When we actually convert to Jehovah God.

18. Do you know how much of all our hearts and souls we turn to God?

19. The Word is very close to you for you to obey.

20. In your mouth and in your heart so that you may fulfill it.

21. Brother, God gives us life and good, death and evil: Who decides?

22. (1 Samuel 15:22) Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and victims as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord?

23. That the "humble" (far from haughtiness, pride, arrogance), simple and "conscientious obedience" (puts much attention, care, and application) to the will is more pleasant and acceptable than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.

24. Diligent conformity (approval) to moral precepts (order, commands) recommends us before God more than all ceremonial observances.

25. (Matthew 8:27) What man is this?

26. Christ was a man completely different from everyone else; everything in Him is admirable: no one is so wise, so powerful, so gentle, and kind as He is.

27. The reason for such astonishment: Even the winds and the sea "obey" Him.

28. The sea recognizes that Christ is worthy of admiration for having such a portentous power (surprising and causes admiration, miraculous, wonderful), which imposes itself even on the inanimate nature (which has no life), which is incapable of being bewitched by the human word.

29. It is His word on anything, however difficult it may seem; it is better to obey because what comes out of His mouth has power to stoke our trust in Him, in the midst of "the greatest storms"; That is why, brother, obey His voice to see the miracle.

30. (Acts 5:29) We must obey God rather than men.

31. God had commanded them to teach and preach; And they had to obey "against all odds."

32. (Romans 2:8) but anger and ire to those who are contentious and do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness.

33. (Galatians 3:1) O foolish Galatians!

34. Who fascinated you not to obey the truth?

35. They were haunted; Who has bewitched you?

36. How not to know Him if you know about Jesus crucified.

37. So is he who does not obey, already knowing Christ so explicitly with Paul he was able to teach and preach with power.
