What am I to God? Psalm 17:8-9 First: Who is God? It is the Supreme Being, Creator of the universe. God is known as the supernatural creator and overseer of the universe. God is 1. "omniscient" - is to know or know everything, absolute knowledge; 2. "omnipotent"- God is not limited by anything (omnipotence), He performs miracles; 3. "omnipresent" - be present at once everywhere. A personal Being - of a person, with whom it is possible to establish a relationship, the source of all moral obligation - (omnipresence, goodness, truth, eternity, etc.), are identical to His Being, not qualities that make up His being.

I. I do not belong to the world or the flesh.

A. Protect me as the apple of Your eyes.

1. The apple of Your eyes: I am thinking about it and how it is protected by the eyelashes, eyelid, eyebrow, socket, and hand that quickly rises. (Meyer)

2. Hide me under the protective and affectionate shadow of Your wings.

3. Then I will be sure of the bad men who steal everything I have and still seek to take my life.

4. (Deuteronomy 7:6, Romans 8:30) Already those who pointed the way to them from before also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified; and those who He glorified, He also predestined. (Decide the divinity what is going to happen to one).

5. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be a special people.

6. God had "chosen Israel to be a special people" (set aside for Him).

7. He did not want it to be like other nations in any way.

8. He did not choose them because of their superior numbers (they were the most insignificant of all peoples).

9. He had chosen them simply because He loved them and wanted them to obey Him in everything."

10. That I am His special treasure: "God tells me."

11. "Think about everything. "

12. This narrow path is full of challenges day by day; for this reason, think of this: it is Paul's advice "about the life of thought"; that which is true, all that is honest, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is kind, all that is of good name.

13. The Bible teaches us everywhere that we can "control our thoughts."

14. There is no point in adopting a defeatist attitude, saying that we simply cannot do anything when "our minds" are filled with thoughts we do not want.

15. If we can do something because I have understood that I am for God, I am a holy, special people, chosen by Him.

16. We cannot have both bad thoughts and thoughts about God.

17. (2 Corinthians 5:17) The Bible says who I am.

18. So, if anyone is in Christ, he is saved, "he is a new creature."

19. God in the person of Jesus Christ gave Himself freely and totally to us for our salvation.

20. The "old" creature passed; behold all things are made new.

21. This must be our position; In Christ in your way of being placed, your body ready to grow in the Christian life, I hope that your practice can correspond more and more with my position.

22. One day, when the Lord Jesus returns, the two will be in perfect agreement.

23. (1 Peter 2:9) You are a chosen lineage, so what are you?

24. God promises for His people: great privileges; they are lineage (which we come from Christ, ancestry, descent) chosen, royal priesthood, holy nation, acquired people (not from birth, buy, own) for God's possession (to possess something).

25. God had promised those same privileges to the nation of Israel if they only wanted to obey Him.

26. (Zechariah 2:8) God will punish the enemies of His people.

27. His people, God describes them as "the apple of His eye."

28. ... for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

29. (Zephaniah 3:17) Jehovah is in your midst, "mighty," And He will save; He will rejoice over you with joy, "He will be silent with love", He will rejoice over you with songs.

30. (Psalm 27:10) Even if my father and mother left me, yet the Lord will gather me.

31. Even in the most dreaded night and at dawn its terror has become more and more agonized and observe around you that no one can accompany your mind, Jehovah will gather me in His tender arms to give me strength and faith to continue knowing that I am for Him.
