Kindness Vs. Evil

TOPIC: “Kindness Vs. Evil” James 3:6 It is said that for a person the probability of doing evil is: ONE HUNDRED TIMES A DAY; on the other hand, the probability of doing good is only: ONCE A YEAR! The fallen nature, inherited from Adam, keeps man from doing good. EVIL is the lack of kindness that a person should have. Evil is contrary to honesty.

I. The Bible teaches us here in Vs. 6 the tongue is "...a world of evil."

A. One could say that in the tongue is "the world of evil."

1. That is to say, that the tongue in our body represents the whole evil world.

2. With the tongue others are deceived! With the tongue one can make the worst seem like the best! With the tongue misconduct can be excused and justified! With the tongue people can be induced to sin!

3. Evil can have its full manifestation in just one conversation!

4. In your tongue, is there goodness or badness?

5. WE BELIEVERS CANNOT WELD TO THIS WORLD!

6. THE WORLD WITHOUT GOD is the world that ignores God and that is often hostile with God!

7. Understand that if the tongue is a fire in this world of evil, then what goodness on their part could we see? On occasions those in the world cause you to laugh and listen to their reasoning. Their reasoning trespasses your thoughts driving you to participate in their evilness! Get away from them!

8. An uncontrolled tongue is a world of evil that departs from God!

9. Your great conflict is that you can accept evil if you stay listening, if you accept what you hear.

10. It would be good for you to make firm decisions in your life so that you and your loved ones can be liberated!

11. Evil comes by what is heard, by staying to listen, whether to comply with them or because of what they will say.

12. An evil tongue not only contaminates the listener's personal life, but also all their activities.

13. Don't allow this evilness to reach you and dominate you! Be firm and faithful to your calling!

14. Evil affects everything in man for the remaining of his life!

15. An evil tongue is itself inflamed by hell.

16. All slander (cursing, speaking bad of someone) has its source there.

B. KINDNESS is the quality of the good.

1. A person with kindness, therefore, has a natural inclination to do good.

2. The kind person knows compassion (to suffer together, is able to understand the situation of the other connecting from a spontaneous feeling of solidarity). That's the way true believers are!

3. (2 Thessalonians 1:11) "With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill EVERY GOOD PURPOSE OF YOURS..."

4. Here it is spoken of the call of the saints. Believers have been called to suffer persecution, which at the same time enables them to rule in the kingdom.

5. Now the apostle Paul, author of the letter to the Thessalonians, prays that in the meantime, they will be considered worthy of such a high calling!

6. May the great power of God enable you to obey EVERY IMPULSE TO DO GOOD and to carry out EVERY TASK UNDERTAKEN IN FAITH!

7. Worthy (to deserve) of your calling: do not you know to this day THAT YOU ARE CALLED? And that God leads you to fulfill all purpose of kindness!

8. To do good to the other one that is by your side!

9. To do all work of faith with His power, with the power of God! The Lord wants to do good in those people that you can reach. May you be full of faith with the power of God!

10. With what eyes do you look? With kindness or with evil? You know!

11. How do you know? Evil is carried out when honesty is far away. We all know that things can be disguised, but the day comes when the payment will be received!

12. Are you the believer that will do things with kindness? Are you good? Are you one to do things with cleanliness? With faith? With His power? Tell me, what is in you, kindness or evilness? Tell me, who are you? Amen.
